I had a curly hair haircut for the first time. I wanted the bottom length all the same, but the hair dresser said he cut it longer in the back so I can pull it forward to be the same length. I like that my hair had a fresh cut, but I wanted the one length for the bottom. It still bothers me. read more

Michelle is my stylist and at my visit she did an overall color and then a cut and style. I have very straight and fine hair and prefer a short pixie wash 'n wear style as I'm HORRIBLE at doing hair. To help, I bring pictures of styles that I like. I'm 73 and very particular about my haircuts. With short/straight/fine hair, any mistake or neglect with the cut will show. I can truthfully say that Michelle does a great job every time that she's done my hair! The color is great and she takes her time with the cut, asking me questions about what I prefer, etc. along the way. In addition, I am always treated kindly by all of the Boho House Salon staff and LOVE the haircare products that they sell as well. I highly recommend this salon!! read more

I was staying with family in Vero Beach during the COVID outbreak and by the end of it, I had to have a haircut! My family visits Boho House and raved about how awesome Stylist Austin was. And now I can see why! Boho House is located in Downtown Vero Beach with ample free street parking around the salon. When I entered the salon, I was greeted warmly by Taylor at the front desk and they had my temperature taken and also offered a mask. All employees were wearing masks and the salon was spotless! Austin was running a little late on the appointment time, but I'm so happy that it was because of all of the sanitary measures in place. When seated, Austin asked what I had in mind for my men's haircut ($35) and also provided some of his suggestions as well. The haircut was very prompt and thorough and Austin is very friendly and personable and polite. I highly recommend Austin to anyone needing heir hair styled in Vero Beach! read more

Being new to Vero Beach from Texas I needed a hair trim and a color touch up for my mid length blonde hair. The salon owner was not able to accept new clients so Cornelio was recommended and I'm so glad that he was the one! Cornelio is an intelligent and gentle young man that gave advice never heard before and he was "right on"! Parts of my root area tended towards orange and he custom colored several areas with an oh so gentle blonde formula. The hair cut was perfect with gentle long layers in the shoulder area. Wish I took a picture! Next time for sure! Writing an updated review since Boho moved! The new salon is gorgeous!! The old one was cute, but the new place has kicked it up a notch. They even added a cute coffee bar area. I no longer live in Vero Beach but had to squeeze in a visit to Michelle a couple weeks ago since I was in the area for a couple days. I still haven't found a great stylist after moving and she got my color back on track after a few failed attempts trying out new stylists in Denver. Ah, I miss Michelle so much! She is extremely talented and I think my bar is super high now after going to her for so long. She is a true artist, is such a wonderful listener (which helps her nail whatever color you are going for every single time!), and is very careful about how much she trims (I really appreciate how she shows you and gets your approval on what she recommends trimming). Although I am blonde, I did have her make me brunette for a short period, and she has always done a lovely job with every color request I have made. The last few times I went to her I have gone more natural, and she rocks at making sure there is no harsh line along the roots (she knows several ways to break the base). And on top of that, she's such a sweet and fun person to chat with while she works her magic :) If you live in or around Vero Beach (seriously, it's worth the drive if you are outside the city), take advantage of this gem - you will leave feeling gorgeous!! I had the best experience at Boho House Salon, this past weekend. When I first arrived, I was greeted by the friendly staff (all Covid precautions are in place) and the salon had a great energy and vibe. I then had my haircut and colored by Cornelio, who is amazing! I am visiting Vero Beach from NYC and had the intention of going in and getting a basic trim. My hair has been pretty lifeless during the pandemic and I just gave up on it. As soon as I sat in Cornelio's chair, he started asking me questions of what I was looking for/giving me ideas on how to bring my hair back to life and he did just that! He was super knowledgeable, gave me a cut I love with the perfect color, and even showed me how to style it once I left. My hair is super fine and I didn't know it was possible to get a style that would allow me to keep it long, while still having volume. I'm so happy he suggested I didn't just get a basic trim. I would suggest researching your stylists. I got a hair cut yesterday. Asked for round layers. Wanted a round "u" or "v" shape when my hair was back. By the time I got home to fully inspect my hair cut, it was straight across. And to make matters worse, when I pull my hair forward, the front pieces are significantly longer then the back, creating an extremely disjointed and choppy cut for my long hair. I'm sure not all stylists are bad, but I already lost seven inches and will now have to cut off wAy more to recover my hair. Extremely disappointed, and probably will not return. read more

I absolutely adore this salon! From the beautifully styled bohemian atmosphere to the incredible stylists. I recently got a cut from Michele and I was blown away. I have many trust issues with my hair but after her consultation I knew I was in great hands. She listened to everything I wanted and went above and beyond. Beginning of 2019, I found Boho House Salon in Vero Beach. Today I went back to get my pixie trimmed, color and highlights from the most impressive, skilled, artistic hair artist/hair designer.. Lindsey! As I was getting my haircut, I looked down the aisle, & every single customer was getting a pixie! Since they all are fabulous with pixie cuts, you can only imagine what else they can do with long hair, updos, etc. A Pixie cut requires such detail. I drive an hour and a half to to feel beautiful because Lindsey is absolutely amazing. I also watch the other hair designers and they are fantastic just like Lindsey ! read more

Knowledgeable in everything from astrology to philly cheese steaks we had a blast while I sipped prosecco and she took me from a brunette to a platinum blonde in just two sessions, without that awkward orange color in between. If you're missing NYC or wherever you migrated from up north you'll appreciate the modern, bohemian style of the salon and forget you're in Vero Beach for a few hours. After you leave I recommend taking your perfect blowout to Southern Social for a cocktail or beachside with a pair of shades sipping mojitos poolside at Costa d'Este. The customer service and professionalism is nonexistent. I made an appointment online for full "cali highlights," it was approved via email, two weeks later on the day of my appointment they called to cancel on me. They did not attempt to get me in with a different stylist. They only stated the stylist I booked with was "out of the salon today." This is all after confirming my appointment in the 3 days prior via text message AND a phone call. I made this appointment 2 weeks in advance, I had to request time off work for it, and my wedding anniversary was the next day. I explained all of this to them and was met with "it's out of my hands." They offered me an evening appointment for the day of my anniversary though! Sure, let me miss out on seeing my husband and drop $400 on the same stylist who couldn't show up for my actual appointment. No thank you. read more
