I received a good, basic cut from Leah. Other reviews said she was rude, but she was very nice and truly listened to what I said and cut my hair to approximate the picture I showed her (as my hair is shorter). I had asked for a pixie in back and bob on the rest. She also showed me a way to style it. The 3 stars is for the Hair Cuttery chain in general. As a new customer, you can get a discounted rate for a haircut only. Since I had a haircut and blowdry it wasn't applicable. That wasn't exactly clearon the website. read more

Roseanne called me because my regular stylist had left the company and she was checking to see if I was made aware. I was not aware and was expecting my appointment at 10:45 that morning . Roseanne graciously offered to see me in the middle of her already booked clients and I thankfully accepted. She was so wonderful to work with. She listened to my concerns and had my color recipe from the notes in the computer system. Roseanne did an amazing job on my hair with my usual color and a trim. I'm so grateful that she was there to help me. I would definitely recommend her and I will be seeing her from now on. read more

I went to this salon today wanting root color and trim. I explained to the stylist that I wanted same light blonde color on roots as the rest of my hair, no darker and a 1" trim. When she applied color it was really dark and I explained my concern. She just said it will color the roots. When she washed it and I saw the color it was a reddish brown ! I was devastated. I waited while she dried it, again explaining it was not what I asked for and would not pay for the color, just the cut. To get rid of me, they said no charge. The stylist said maybe she could add some highlights- really? Do I want more mistakes from that person? NEVER ! Don't go there if you want good results.After more than 50 years of getting color, I have never had such terrible color. read more

11/15/2025 My whole family (5 of us-3 girls and 2 guys) "DID" come here and "DID" have great experiences but that has since changed. We were scheduled with Leah, whom apparently doesn't like her job and is very short and rude and I heard her on the phone while talking with my husband (we will pray for her because she must be going through hard times) and Josemar who apparently can't seem to accommodate his own scheduled appointments nor can he speak up, as a man should, to another man for his own clientele that's supposed to be there specifically for him. Needless to say the appointment didn't happen due to my husband feeling like a burden and finally walking out after she was short and said she couldn't hear (my well spoken husband) over a blow dryer. Josemar was told my husband was there for him and he didn't say a word to my husband nor try to accommodate him in anyway even though it was his appointment time. Not a simple give me a couple minutes and I'll get you fixed or nothing. My husband was there for a quick trim around the ears and beard, not even an actual haircut, it would have taken all but 10-15 minutes to do it. I called to speak to a manager to see what we could do to fix things and no manager available but Melissa got on because Leah, who answered a business phone with "she's calling" isn't capable of handling things, and said we could schedule another appointment if we wanted to (unreal). Appointments don't work or aren't a thing here so no thank you. Well bye bye Hair Cuttery, it was fun, and hello SUPER CUTS (who is across the way by the Publix) They quickly accommodated my guys and came to their rescue. Apparently the word on the street is this wasn't the first time this happened to other customers who have moved over to SUPER CUTS too. They are much nicer and accommodating. It's very unfortunate for the employees who actually have been enjoyable for us at Hair Cuttery. I think some of them are gone now so we have left the building too. read more

I made an appointment online with the only available stylist. When I arrived I was quickly greeted. The shampoo wash was the best part of my experience. My stylist was nice but possibly newer. She combed through my wet hair and was a bit rough, no product was added and my hair is very long. I requested long layers which I received. The cut was a bad cut no blending and it just looks extremely uneven. She's still working on her craft, I have long hair and can get it fixed elsewhere. read more

Vladena is excellent with color. She executed my highlights perfectly and they look amazing. With that said, she engaged in an unethical business practice. I went in for a partial highlight and toner. I was overcharged by $60 as she charged me for a full foil (which she did not do) and an additional "long hair" charge. Neither of these were discussed before or during the service. While she is talented, she is clearly deceptive and knew exactly what she was doing. Be careful with this one. All of the other stylists were very friendly and their customers all seemed happy! read more

Went to get my hair cut at hair Cuttery on Tuscan Way. In just a few words the cut was a mess wasn't cut even and when I told them about it they wanted to charge me full price to fix it. what a mess never to this location again. read more

I've been in 3 times.. yes the stylist did a good job.. my issue was she added stuff in that I did NoT request and no explanation from beginning of what she was adding on to What I specifically requested when I made the appointment. I found this out by calling in and asking the gal who picks up the phone to break down the charges to find out the added things . Last visit was $27.00 over the last and for the same thing " a root touch up only. She added a glaze one time then the last a treatment on my hair. Both was not requested. I will no longer give a fourth chance for fear of what she's gonna add next without my permission! A warning to confirm what they're gonna do before you sit in the chair.. read more

Not a pleasant experience! They don't do anything close to what you ask them to do. I told them I did not want to give them my phone number because I did not want any text messages from them and received 3 test messages within the first 5 minutes of my visit. I showed the person a picture of how I want my grandson's hair cut and she said sure 'no problem', he got out of the chair in literally 5 minutes and it looked nothing like the picture. She did not wash his hair or even spray it with water when she cut it. Yet they still wanted to charge me for a full price haircut, and all she did was trimmed the length off the back of his neck and cut his bangs. I went to get a haircut here and he ladies cut my hair as fast as possible and pushed me out the door. They must get paid based on production because they didn't care about doing a good job. I went to Great Clips for my next haircut and they were nice and took there time. Never going to Hair Butchery again. read more
