To Hair Cuttery Management, I wanted to share some feedback regarding my haircut yesterday. I usually come in monthly and have always been satisfied, but this visit left me disappointed for several reasons: 1. My haircut was done by what appeared to be a very inexperienced stylist. 2. She seemed more like a student who was still learning basic skills. 3. Customers should be informed ahead of time if their haircut will be performed by a trainee or student. 4. The stylist seemed out of her element and noticeably unsure throughout the cut. 5. I am very meticulous about my haircuts, and the experience was stressful for me. 6. My concern is not with the student herself, but with the responsibility of ensuring a quality cut from someone properly trained. Arrived a few minutes late, got assigned a less experienced person than what I booked. Told her clippers worked fine, she used scissors anyway. Due to an unplanned event the manager stepped in to finish. Raced through the haircut with clippers creating a very poor haircut. And he smelled like a rotten ashtray. It was disgusting. Came here a month or two ago. Started recently adding inexperienced people and they completely ruined my hair. I asked for a small trim and I ended up leaving with a bob. I was mostly left in the dark during my session because my hairdresser was talking to other clients and kept ignoring me. I felt as if I was the only one that nobody was talking to and this made my experience ostracizing. To top things off, I ended up paying $60 for a SMALL cut + a blowout. To management and potential male customers.. The most expensive haircut I've ever gotten as a guy. $47 dollars for a simple haircut to shorten the sides and trim the top. Halfway through I asked for the lady to make sure if she was going to do touch ups at the end and she said she would. I walked out of there with patches of long hair on my sides and down my temple. My sideburns weren't fully removed and had patches. My hairline was cut diagonally. I had a slight fade which somehow became a bulb cut in the back (trauma worthy). Razor burns down the sides and back of my neck. I'm only 22 but I've never gotten a bad haircut before. I always get a 2 on the sides and trim the top and it's a rather simple haircut to get. I'll never go back to this place or any of their establishments. Also, the lady doing a girls hair next to me was spraying me with some water mist and sticky hair product while doing another customer's hair. I should have asked for a refund and just tipped the lady doing my hair. The lady was nice, but if you're not comfortable doing a guys hair then say that.. don't use them as a guinea pig and charge them almost $50 after the fact.. 0 stars read more

I would never go back to hair cuttery I wanted to have my hair colored I am a golden blonde. I told them I wanted the golden blonde color they had always done. They made my hair BROWN. I was mortified. It looked horrible. They said I asked for that ulgy brown, that they made it . They said the made it to match the back underside of my hair. I told them that's not want I wanted, I told them golden blonde. I know what color I asked for and it certinally wasn't brown. I will never go back to that salon in the target shopping center in Royal Palm beach. I now go to the best stylist ever her name is Shirma and she is in salon suites on okeechobee in Royal Palm across from target. She is a master colorist and fabulous hair stylist. The most honest and now a good friend. Never go to the hair cuttery in target shopping center in Royal Palm again. It's awful, and all they do is try to sell products. I hate they are so pushy with product and awful doing hair. They don't listen, and all I can say is thank heavens I found a stylist that is great in everything she does. If you know me, then you know how awful I am at keeping up with my hair. Truly, the least amount of maintenance possible is the way to go for me. Keeping that in mind... you know it's time to go to the hair salon when family is constantly telling you stuff about your split ends. Or at least that was the beginning. The truth of it is I hadn't bothered stepping inside a hair salon in over a year and my look needed a desperate upgrade. My aunt suggested this Hair Cuttery, so I called and set up the appointment for an early Sunday afternoon with Victor. Victor rejuvenated my hair. Prior to him, it was lifeless, bland, with some split ends I'm sure (even though I had gotten some cut off), and dare I admit to gray hair? Cries. Arrived on time to my appointment today. This must've been my fourth or fifth appointment at this location. Upon being seated, my stylist announced that it's now $96 for a root touchup as opposed to $67 every other time I've been there. She wasn't even sure if it includes a blowout but according to the app and my previous appointments, it does. she said the prices went up, but obviously, not on the app. My hair is an inch below my shoulders and that's now considered long. I came another time and cache was a real sweetheart and took her time and genuinely cared about people's concerns. Suzanne is an absolute nightmare. I came in with my elderly father who has had a larynx operation and has a stoma. I had an appointment for him to get his hair washed and cut. She acted like my father was completely incompetent. She made fun of him, asked if he had a stroke and what was wrong with him. I asked her to stop being rude and that my father was fully capable of answering any questions. she asked if my father I just got out of a rehabilitation center because he doesn't look good. She went on to tell me that he needs to wash his hair more and that his scalp looks terrible. I told her that he has psoriasis on his scalp and she rolled her eyes at me. I was very upset but didn't I wanna upset my father so I walked outside to get some air. When the haircut was done my father was really upset and I said that this is not what we asked for it. We asked for the haircut be short and straight back. It was parted in the middle and Long and sticking up in the back. He looked like an elderly alfalfa. At this point Suzanne had another customer walk in so she dismissed my father and walked upfront and didn't listen to us whatsoever. I met her up front where she started mocking me and rolling her eyes being very rude. Saying oh now you're going to speak for him when you told me that he is fully capable of speaking. I ask for the manager to come up where is Suzanne continued to mock me and be very rude. The manager apologized several times for this lady's behavior and fixed my father's hair. She had to re-cut it and did not charge for the haircut. I cannot believe how rude and inconsiderate somebody can be to a man who fought for his life battling cancer and beat it. October of 2022,My experience at the salon was traumatizing! Suzanne was my hair stylist she took me as a walk in client. I had shown her pictures of what hair cut I was looking for. I wanted my hair to be cut at my shoulders. She asked if I wanted layers and I said yes. She parted my hair to begin cutting and did the first few cuts and I knew she cut it WAY to short. She had cut my hair just below my ear. I was clearly upset I said "oh my god I did not want my hair this short" "I said shoulder length" she proceeded to tell me "it's going to be ok! Let me finish so it doesn't look stupid" she brought down the next layer to cut and it was at shoulder length and said "I'll cut your hair just a bit longer so you won't see the shortness of the back of your hair" "just don't put your hair up!" Like everything was okay! I let her finish my hair, paid and left. I'm sure the other stylist of competent with their jobs and listen to their clients and confirm the length of the hair BEFORE cutting. If I ever go back it will be with another stylist that knows what they are doing. Everyone knows wet hair gets shorter when it dries, therefore your hair will appear shorter and you can always cut more if you want it shorter but you can't go longer. She is an incompetent stylist and should be sent back to beauty school. A year later and my hair finally grew back and I had a complimentary haircut with the manager. I called and Liz picked up the phone. She explained that there is a new manager and she would need to speak with him. I asked when she would let me Know and she had the NASTIEST attitude. She stated rudely that I should have booked on the weekday and not the weekend because it's their busiest time. I stated that I worked during the week and the weekend is when I have time. I would just like to say that two bad experiences at this unprofessional salon, I will never go here or recommend someone to this salon. I had hair 2 inches below my shoulder. I asked for a trim & some layers. The young blonde emo lookin chick with heavy black eyeliner clearly doesn't know how to cut hair. We agreed to cutting 1 in off & some layers. She cut my hair so wrong. I have layers that are so short looks like a boy cut. One side is longer than the other. Each side is messed up.
