I went to this business on Saturday to purchase some items, when I walked in the employees and the owner was not very welcoming, so I proceeded to look for the items I wanted to purchase and of course no one was available to ask where the specific items were that I wanted to purchase. So I went to the hair section and I found a employee to assist me, she didn't know the answer so she directed to another employee who had the same attitude when I first walked in as I was bothering her. I wanted to purchase a specific thing and I was asking questions. The audacity to have a attitude with a customer that is looking to purchase items from your store,so finally I found what I was looking for but my spirit was still uneasy from the interaction I had when I first walked in this store. I picked up four items so my hands were full and I forgot to grab a basket when I first walked in, so I said to a employee/possible owner behind the desk "I'm going to sit these here I forgot something I will be right back, because I want to be able to shop in peace and not be followed all through the store, so I took my items to the front, so he says to me in a condescending tone, we don't like for people to put items up on the counter, the baskets are over here. Nope you got the wrong one, that tone absolutely not, attitude absolutely not. Treat people with respect and learn how to communicate properly when people come in your store to purchase your products. We'd seen this place a few times, and when Sweetie needed some new hair for an event- and Baby K said she wanted "yong yeyyow hair" like some cartoon character- we went. It's a big place, compared to the few others I've been to. Supplies up front, weaves and ponytails off to one side, and a separate wig area in back. Lots of staff, very helpful and friendly. We wandered, Sweetie tried to find something she wanted, Baby K insisted on long yellow hair. I talked her into a ponytail, then we distracted her with some hair bows ($1 for 5 or so) and luckily she forgot about the rest. Sweetie got a nice wig. Prices seem reasonable. This place is absolutely awful. I went in searching for a wig and the attendant was extremely aggressive and rude. I was looking at the wigs to see if I wanted them and she refused to let me speak, just kept talking over me even after she asked me a question. You may work here but you don't know it all. Or what exactly I need since you wouldn't let me talk. I know that there is a way in which they operate but I couldn't even shop the way I wanted to, they are afraid someone is going to steal. No one should shouldn't be in business if that's how they operate and treat clients. If I want to just LOOK at something then let me. The way in which these people operate makes you not want to spend my hard earned money there. They should be ashamed of themselves, but I'm sure they could care less. I needed to find a wig for my mom last minute. I showed one of the workers a picture of my mom and they quickly found a wig that matched. Super helpful employee who was very patient with us since my family and I had no idea about wigs. Very reasonably priced. All welcomed me the second I walked in, when I was going to look at wigs in the back there was a very nice girl that helped me pick out the best one for my skin tone, face shape, and everything! VERY poor customer service and understaffed. A product fell off the shelf and we turned it in. They made us pay for it, even though they could have been reimbursed by the manufacturer.
