We started with a wash and then to the cut. She chopped off all my split ends, styled my hair perfectly and dried my hair nicely. Maggie was super friendly and did a fantastic job. I usually pay at least double for a haircut, and can I honestly say it's double the quality of what I get from Jane? Nope. Jane took an after pic of my haircut. I only wanted a basic B hair chop with minimal layers at the end and she nailed it. Whoops forgot to take the before pic for comparison. You'll just have to imagine the girl from the Ring, that's me, hair to my waist. Jane and I had a good chat. Her native tongue is Cantonese, and she's giving me tips on how to style my hair. She mentions now with the pandemic, her client base is much more diverse. For health and safety, she is always masked and I put on a transparent disposable salon gown. I was the only person there! Likely, people didn't know she kept the store opened on Civic holiday. The place is very spacious for one person operating the whole shop. I went here for a cut by Jessica and I asked her if she could give me a cut to match a picture that I showed her on my laptop. She criticized the shape of my head and while we were discussing the cut she told me that I am not the designer, she is the designer and I should just let her do what she wants. I told her I want the cut like the one in the photo and that I know it won't look exactly like the photo cause the model has platinum blond hair and mine is brown but I want the same cut. At this place however, Jason took about 15 minutes for the undercut alone, he put a lot of effort into it. I also got my hair coloured and they discussed in much detail with me what colour would receive which result. The place is super new and it's a very open and modern atmosphere and I really liked it. However you should be prepared to pay more than at other places, my haircut (cut, colour, style for short hair) was about $160 plus tip. That being said, you definitely get what you pay for.

I happen to be a male, with a full head of medium length hair. Not sure what the issue is. Waltzed my way to Cosimo's and the owner at the front was as pleasant and accommodating as you can get. I was seen by Elsa, and she was and continues to be lovely. When I say, "just a slight trim" thats exactly what she does. She now cuts my son and daughters hair. We've even done a day of pampering for both of them. She even let my daughter wash my sons hair. This is a great, great salon. Especially since he is a skilled barber, and I know this isn't his best work.
