I was looking to try a new hair professional as I had been to many and had not found one that cut my hair the way I wanted it. I don't like to fuss nand spend a lot of time on my hair so a great cut is critical, especially when I was, scrunch and go. I came across Kim when I Googled "best hairdresser in Thornhill". Her business had all 5 star ratings, read them and so I thought, why not? And the different part was that she is mobile and comes to you home...how cool is that!!!! Kim came over, was punctual and instantly made me feel comfortable with the situation. She set up, we consulted and discussed the end result I wanted, as well as what would actually be possible with my hair. It is obvious Kim is a professional in all aspects. She took her time and gave me a great cut...I love it!! She is an absolute sweetheart. Kim was very pleasant to deal with; she was courteous and respectful. This review is long overdue however it's been my intention to share my experience with Kim's service, both with her as a hairstylist and as a business woman. Kim is a listener, and one who knows the balance of understanding your style wants and needs, while sharing her own perspectives and advice. She makes sure to do what it is that you will feel most comfortable and happy with after while reassuring you along the way, particularly in my case when I was indecisive about wanting to make a drastic change with my hair. As a business woman, she is very professional yet friendly and makes you feel very comfortable and at ease. She has all her equipment ready, compact and tidy, easily transportable in and out of your home. She refused to let me help her carry anything despite my insisting! I highly recommend this service to anyone looking to have their hair done. Kim is a fantastic stylist and gave me exactly what I was hoping for (even though I'm very particular and hard to please, she did it!). I was very impressed with how knowledgeable she was and with how friendly she was! It was a great experience. And she explains the different things she uses on your hair and why she's using them so that you know what's going on. Plus she gave tips on how to style it and actually demonstrated the techniques to me. She genuinely wants you to like the outcome and listens so well to your requests. Fantastic and awesome service from Kim. Honestly can't say enough great things about her and her service. She's friendly and makes sure to give you the exact style that you're looking for. She asked me more questions about my hair than any other stylist I've ever had which really helped with what she thought would look good and to help her give me the perfect cut. The fact that she comes to you (fully stocked and prepared) rather you going to her makes it very easy on the customer and really emphasizes the customer first mentality. Kim has been cutting my hair and my 90 yr old bed ridden Mother's hair for about 1 year. Kim was able to adapt to my Mother's needs and created a fabulous hairstyle that is beautiful and easy to manage. My Mother gets many compliments about her hair from her family, care givers, PSW's and nurses.
