The salon is very dark. When she was done with my hair, looked darker than I asked for but since it was dark in the salon, I decided not to say anything in front of her new client. I thought it would be better to check it out at home. She was eager to set up a new appointment but I made an excuse so I could evaluate this very expensive hair coloring. My bill with tip was $365.88. I got home and checked my hair in every light in my house. It was much darker than it was when I went in which is not at all what I asked. I asked for an icy blonde and not a brunette. I messaged her, told her I would not make another appointment and said my hair was much darker than it was before I went in. She recommended purple shampoo to help correct her mistake. I would have to spend money to fix it but this is also the same shampoo she told me while she was doing my hair that she wouldn't recommend it for my hair type (I have been told in the past not to use it). She offered to redo it for free but at this point, I lost any ounce of confidence in her. Her mistake, her bad recommendation (other colorists agree) etc. I then asked for my tip back because she truly did not deserve a penny of it. She decided to ignore me after I asked. After she ignored me, I decided to comment on her post, the one I saw to make an appointment. I stated the above with pictures. Within 5-10 minutes (not at all exaggerating) she deleted the post. She decided to post in a local private group of all beauticians etc. in kitsap and she told everyone if I made an appointment to fix her mistake, they need to cancel because I was a difficult client. She blocked anyone who defended me. This post was very hurtful since she made the mistake. I was criticized by a few of her friends who backed her and was told they back her only because she's one of them. She slandered my name, made sure no colorist would touch me to fix her mistake (or take me on as a client) in kitsap, kept 100% of the money, refused to return the tip (I didn't ask for it all, just my tip) and had her friends pm me to harass me. Every time I get it cut it's always lopsided , or I have a random long piece in the back . This girl is a rockstar !! I had my hair japanese thermal straightened and have been trimming it out so I can enjoy my curls again . She shaped my hair, thinned it out , taught me about curl patterns , how to retrain my hair , correct salon grade products , heat products , inquired about my routine , and even talked to me about color because I was honest and told her I had thermal straightening in my hair still and the color she is seeing is blonde that I had professionally colored back to my original color . However, I had quite the negative experience and it may be beneficial to share for people looking for a salon. I had an appointment for 10AM about a week and a half ago and I arrived 10 minutes early. When I arrived, no one was there expect the receptionist at the computer who told me my stylist had not arrived yet. She told me to go on into the Salon and the stylist would be right with me. It was very awkward because the environment is not very inviting, I had no idea what chair to sit at, and there was no music or anything. Complete silence. My stylist arrived at 10am and talked to the receptionist at the computer for 10 minutes while I sat in the chair in silence just waiting to be taken care of. She finally walks in at 10:11 pretty frantically like she had a rough morning. She kind of ranted about somethings before we started and I was pretty flustered and had a bad feeling from then on. Now let's talk about the hair cut experience. I booked a 65 dollar hair cut experience that I assumed would be a cut and style but obviously I was mistaken. I told her I washed my hair the night before so there was no need to wash it but usually my stylist would still go wet it. She did not. She just sprayed it lightly with water through out the cut. I went in originally wanting bangs however, I was getting a horrible feeling about it so I just told her I would like to thin out my hair. I told her she could keep it pretty long, just looking to thin it out and maybe some layering. Long story short, she cut my hair in a way I have never seen before and I had a feeling by the way she was cutting it that it would be uneven. Turns out, it was when I got home! She also kept asking "how does that look? How does that feel?" And I had to tell the professional that it was uneven. Fast forward to the end, she did not even blow dry it or style it at all and it was only 10:50! I still had 10 minutes left but she seemed in a rush to be done. I was trying to stay nice but I was very disappointed in the entire experience. I basically missed out on 20 minutes of my appointment because she was late and unprofessional. She told me I could call if I wanted to change anything but I really don't want this salon touching my hair anymore. In conclusion, I do not want to say that everyone will have this experience so I won't go as far as saying to not come here. They may have been having an off day but I was completely unsatisfied and I question the stylist's skills completely. I paid 50 dollars + 10 dollar tip for something I could of probably done myself. The color was brushed on as fast as the stylist could go. The stylists have been trained to work as fast as possible. My first visit I left with my roots still showing all around my face. On my last visit I tried the headspa. I was expecting a relaxing treatment. Nope. Rush, rush, rush. The massage part was met with stiff hands moving quickly with no hint of relaxation. The hand massage was about 30 seconds per hand and there was no arm massage at all. For $100 I expected a lot more. I wanted to love this salon but I don't like it at all. The whole vibe is all about speed, not care or quality. They need to lay off the social media which portrays them so inaccurately and start listening to customers wants and making sure they take the time to do what they are advertising.
