I have been hesitant to share this review because I do not like to talk negatively about small businesses. However, I had quite the negative experience and it may be beneficial to share for people looking for a salon. I had an appointment for 10AM about a week and a half ago and I arrived 10 minutes early. When I arrived, no one was there expect the receptionist at the computer who told me my stylist had not arrived yet. She told me to go on into the Salon and the stylist would be right with me. It was very awkward because the environment is not very inviting, I had no idea what chair to sit at, and there was no music or anything. Complete silence. My stylist arrived at 10am and talked to the receptionist at the computer for 10 minutes while I sat in the chair in silence just waiting to be taken care of. She finally walks in at 10:11 pretty frantically like she had a rough morning. She kind of ranted about somethings before we started and I was pretty flustered and had a bad feeling from then on. Now let's talk about the hair cut experience. I booked a 65 dollar hair cut experience that I assumed would be a cut and style but obviously I was mistaken. I told her I washed my hair the night before so there was no need to wash it but usually my stylist would still go wet it. She did not. She just sprayed it lightly with water through out the cut. I went in originally wanting bangs however, I was getting a horrible feeling about it so I just told her I would like to thin out my hair. I told her she could keep it pretty long, just looking to thin it out and maybe some layering. Long story short, she cut my hair in a way I have never seen before and I had a feeling by the way she was cutting it that it would be uneven. Turns out, it was when I got home! She also kept asking "how does that look? How does that feel?" And I had to tell the professional that it was uneven. Fast forward to the end, she did not even blow dry it or style it at all and it was only 10:50! I still had 10 minutes left but she seemed in a rush to be done. I was trying to stay nice but I was very disappointed in the entire experience. I basically missed out on 20 minutes of my appointment because she was late and unprofessional. She told me I could call if I wanted to change anything but I really don't want this salon touching my hair anymore. In conclusion, I do not want to say that everyone will have this experience so I won't go as far as saying to not come here. They may have been having an off day but I was completely unsatisfied and I question the stylist's skills completely. I paid 50 dollars + 10 dollar tip for something I could of probably done myself. Hopefully, not everyone had this experience but I will personally not be returning. read more

From the moment she greets her client with her genuine warmth and beautiful smile, the relaxation experience begins. The organic products are all lovely and although I am a fair, sensitive skinned redhead, I have never had any unpleasant reactions to the cleansers, serums, creams, and masks. Her massage work is exceptionally marvelous. I can't put into words how relaxing and restorative the entire process has been. The results are evident in the way my skin looks. I have received many compliments since I have been regularly getting facials with MaryLee. She is extremely knowledgeable about caring for and protecting the skin barrier and her suggestions have definitely been beneficial and apparent. Not happy with this place. The decor is sparse. The waiting area is painted in colors that look like someone daughter picked them out with two uncomfortable chairs. I paid a lot of money for the highlights in my hair and I asked the guy that did my hair to touch up the roots but to keep the highlights. It is now several days later and the highlights are pretty much gone. A few patches where it looks like he missed in the front. I got a lecture about trimming my bangs but the haircut he gave me lasted two minutes. He spent time fussing and spraying my hair which I hate. Now the cut looks like crap. I could have paid much less and gone to a chain and gotten this bad cut. I won't be back. read more

Natasha has been my hairdresser for many years. She is professional, enthusiastic, and wants the best for her clients. Additionally, Natasha uses organic products which feel wonderful. I love going to the salon and always feel happy and pretty when I leave. Natasha also does facials, waxing and other treatments that will leave you feeling relaxed. Unfortunately I had a very poor experience here. It may have been because I had much too high expectations, but even so, it wasn't great. The girl who did my wedding makeup trial was very sweet and professional, but I was disappointed that the makeup she did on me was nothing amazing and frankly, I do better myself at home- and I use only concealer, blush, mascara, and eyeliner. The makeup she did on me was fine for prom or senior pics and such, but did not meet my standards for wedding makeup. I showed her pics of what I wanted (simple, rosy natural look), and expected her to make it happen. She did a few things, like concealer and eye shadow and mascara, but I had to ask her to add eyeliner, blush, powder, and lipstick- individually for each one. She did not have or use any face primer or setting spray. If the makeup gals here are supposed to be able to provide professional makeup, I suggest they expand their expertise and tools. The selection the salon provided her was pretty dismal- it would all fit into a large shoe box. I had my hair trial the same day and it was pretty bad. Even according to prom standards, this would have been a bad updo. I showed the hairdresser pictures of what I wanted. She spent a few minutes looking at them in silence. The entire appointment, she did not ask me a SINGLE question about what I wanted for my hair, and she didn't even try to make small talk. She spent half of the 45-60 minute appointment trying a couple different things- such as one big messy braid twisted into a bun (as if I couldn't do that myself at home any day)! In the last half of the appointment, she braided my hair into four or five different braids, then twisted them into a messy bun-ish kind of updo (after I specifically told her I didn't like messy updos). She added an awkward swirl onto the top of my head with some extra hair, sprayed it all down, and said it was done. I was horrified. I still can't believe I actually paid $35 for that hair trial. Two stars for the nice makeup girl. She was kind and helpful, and the makeup was normal-day pretty, but I doubt she has any professional training and definitely needs some (plus professional equipment). No stars for the poor quality hairdo and poor customer service from the hairdresser. read more
