I made an appointment for my daughter to get her hair braided on 7/9/2024. I paid the $25.00…read moredeposit. The appointment was made for 7/10 at 2:30. I chose the box braids for my daughter and the quoted price was $150. I received a text from Lexy a little after 2pm that she will be running 30 minutes behind. So asked her if she wanted there at 3pm and she said yes. I then sent Lexy a picture of the box braids my daughter wanted and told her she wanted the curlsadded in there. Lexy told me she didn't have curly hair and that would be extra. I explained to Lexy that I didn't see the option to click on the boho curls but I would pay the extra and I had the curly hair. Lexy liked that text message. Minutes later she sent a rude text to me saying I can't change the style and I should have given her a warning about the style change (It wasn't a style change just a few boho curls added in the braids). I couldn't believe I was being spoken to by someone running a business who was running 30 minutes late for my appointment. Since I don't believe in patronizing businesses who speak rudely to me I told Lexy to cancel the appointment and because she was running late. She insisted she would be charging my card a penalty because I cancelled. I told her I would make a complaint to my bank and the police if she did and then asked her what was her business policy for when she is running late. I then received a text saying my appointment was cancelled and I was banned from making another appointment there again. I seriously had to laugh because there is no way I will ever make an attempt to patronize this business again!
