DO NOT GO HERE THEY DONT REALLY KNOW HOW TO DO HAIR. I didn't know what to expect when I went to hair pro salon but I came expecting to get my hair straightened. The lady who did my hair was obviously a new staff member because she kept looking scared of me and asked the front desk woman how to do my ethnic curly hair. The front desk woman in response goes to the back of the shop and pulls out a large book that described the step by step process for doing ethnic hair. That's when I wanted to get out and run but I was already in the sink with my hair fully drenched. The lady kept touching my hair like it was a foreign creature that might bite her. She washed my hair twice and conditioned twice before immediately sitting me in her chair and proceeded to blow dry my hair without sectioning it. She pulled at my curls so hard with a tiny comb and I felt my hair ripping out. The front desk lady runs over saying "Nono! Don't do it like that, you have to do it like this-" and teaches her how to do it. (At this point I'm wanting to ask the front desk lady to do it) She blow dries my hair until it looks like a freshly groomed poodle and then asks me "do you want it straightened?" I stare at her like she's an idiot before saying "yes" because I came in saying I wanted my hair straightened. She straightens my hair terribly and it turns out how you see it here in the photos below. I tell her I want it STRAIGHT and ask if she can do another blow dry/flat iron. While she's doing the process again like I asked she loudly yells over to the front desk lady "HOW MUCH DO I CHARGE HER?" I didn't like that and thought it was unprofessional. After she blew it dry and straightened it again it looked no different. She became frustrated with me and said "here's the flat iron- you do it yourself." She handed me the hot flat iron and told me to style it how I wanted it myself... No beauty salon has ever done this to me and I felt beyond disrespected. DO NOT GO HERE for your beauty needs. The customers in there were older men getting haircuts and I think that's what they should stick to. I didn't want to pay before leaving but I saw on yelp they had a new client special discount. I showed her the yelp photo that was posted on their business showing the discount and she refused to give me one. Then she asked me if I want to tip. I WANTED TO SPIT ON THE FLOOR but Instead I politely said "no you're not getting a tip from me" So her response was to POINT AT THE DOOR and say "bye" Screw them. I REPEAT. DO NOT COME HERE. You see the photos you see how they let me walk out of their salon. These women don't care about the service they provide as much as they care about getting money. read more

Love the cut they gave me more importantly I had a formula for my hair color from my salon in CT and they matched it perfectly ! I was very pleased! Only thing I wish they did scalp treatment there and maybe scalp massage and definitely a little longer hair wash as I find that so relaxing! read more

I had a really great time at Hair Pro Salon! I have curly hair and am very picky about how it's cut, but Bertha did an amazing job. She really cares about what the customer wants and also gives great advice on what she thinks will be a good fit. If I could give this salon 0 stars I would. I asked for the same haircut I walked in the door with, I just wanted an inch off the bottom. What I got was a hack job!! This haircut lands in the top worst three haircuts of my entire life. If you want your hair cut the way you ask for it, STAY AWAY from this place and find another salon. read more

Here's a hidden jewel. Bertha Rojas runs a nice little shop in the same building as the AT&T store, in the 400 block of South Federal in Deerfield Beach. I'm not going to make any claims about her talent with women's hair, but this is a good place for men to get a simple haircut or more complex styling. I'm confident she's at home with women's hair also. Her prices are reasonable, her conversation is entertaining, and you'll be happy with the final product. A couple of things: First, don't be concerned about my 4-star rating. I reserve 5 stars for only the rarest establishments, all of which have been restaurants. Second, as of this writing Google's information is incorrect about the shop. It's open from 10 to 6, not 10 to 7, and the phone number is 954-531-6649 rather than what's posted. read more

i would definitely recommend this place! beautiful and very clean salon. owner and stylist were very professional and very experienced at what they do. i got a cut, highlights, colored, and blow dry and the end results was just amazing! and the price was very reasonable. maciel the hair cosmetologist/stylist did a wonderful job on my hair. my friends and family and myself loved the look! maciel was just amazing at what she did to my hair! thank you for the service! see you guys again soon! read more
