Marlo didn't start my daughter's hair until almost 1pm eventhough she had an 11am appointment. Midway through her braid down she stopped my daughter and placed another client in the chair. I expressed to her that my daughter had somewhere to be at 4pm and needed to be out the salon by 3pm to get home and quickly get dressed. She guaranteed me that she would be done in time. After starting almost 2 hours late, taking another client, stopping to cash, stopping to answer calls, dealing with walk in inquiries and chatting with the student stylists in the salon, my daughter's hair was done at 4pm after being their from 10:45am with an appointment booked! She missed her homecoming photoshoot that was booked for 4pm and I lost my deposit on the photoshoot. She only had time to rush home and quickly get dressed to make it to dinner with her classmates (to which she arrived late). No pictures, no make up, nothing! This was her first homecoming experience and it was totally ruined by this stylist and her unprofessional behavior. I told her that she missed her photoshoot and the only thing she said was "she can still make it." Totally dismissive. I was livid that I could barely contain myself. I was hoping that this would be a salon that I can return to BUT NEVER AGAIN!!!! She seems to be a nice lady and I actually like my daughter's hair but I refuse to deal with unprofessional behavior anywhere! People make appointments for a reason and I expect for my time to be valued the same way the stylist expects for the client to value their time. I won't be returning and neither will my daughter!
