My grandma now goes to her and this was my first time switching over to her. She was AMAZING fitting me in a little last notice (my vacay snuck up on me and I DESPERATELY needed a hair cut). We had a miscommunication about my appointment time and she went so far above and beyond to make it up to me. Plus I have cancer and am going to have to back on chemo which really thins my hair. She was so kind and considerate of this and helped me pick a style that would keep my hair looking thicker. I honestly just can't say enough good things about her. She's very passionate about her career and it shows. Not to mention everyone in the salon (even costumers) were so kind, very comfortable environment. Highly recommend.

Brought my two year old in to get a haircut with an appointment. Waited 45 mins while one of the stylists yelled at my son for touching things. He's two and he's been waiting 45 mins, what do you expect? On top of the fact that I was already taking care of it. I can't tell you how they cut hair because I walked out after the second time of the stylist telling my son not to touch their stuff. I had been putting off getting my hair cut and/or colored again for so long, due to how much pain I have been in, especially since I was struck from behind coming home on an out-of-state trip. Jana was compassionate and took the time to explain that while she could not do mobile hair dressing, she would be glad to let me get up frequently or do whatever would make me comfortable. Price: on the normal side. It was explained that more color would be required for the first time, due to how much my gray roots had grown out since Valentine's Day (five months regrowth on longish hair), and that subsequent touchups would be less expensive. The salon was closed by the time she rung me up because she spent so much care and time with me. Jana took photos afterwards and I paid what I perceived to be a very fair and comparable price. Note: credit cards or cash accepted, no checks. I had responded to a promotion advertised for a deep conditioning treatment, which I also found helpful. Consultation: lengthy, which was great! Cut: It looks better than it did when I went in. Maybe shorter than I planned. I wanted damage cut off, but probably should have specified that I did not want so much length lost. I had been waffling back and forth about growing it longer versus not wanting it to look droopy and dragged down, and was happy to trust Jana's longtime cosmetology experience history. Methodology: Jana spends lots of time and knows what she is doing! Go for it. The shade of red she mixed is great! The cut I'm satisfied with overall; probably the only thing I would change is I usually request that stylists do not use thinning shears on my already-thinning, middle-aged, curly hair. I have family members who are longtime stylists and barbers. By the time I realized Jana was doing this (my glasses were off and I was turned away from the mirror), and asked about it, it was too late, so I let her finish and just went with it, and was happy with the overall result. Jana also noted that the length/cut was uneven from the last stylist. Salon: clean, bright, happy vibe; nice music, pleasant customers (mostly middle-aged women like myself), and all stylists I spoke to were friendly.

Never mentioned hot rocks until she put some on my back and they burned. Sheets on chiropractor style table were limp, robe provided had obviously been used before. Room is unpleasant, stale, claustrophobic. I never mentioned a tip, usually give that as cash, but she rang up my charge and asked me how much I tip I wanted to put on the credit card - pathetic and very unprofessional. That was my call, not hers. Scheduled hair cut never happened, waited 20 minutes while stylist kept going over and over the split ends on her customer. Never even tried to keep current on appt. time. Avoid this weird place, there was one other customer in the place, no pedicure clients, no massage, just ONE haircut and that was too much for them.
