Consult: Jan 6 (with owner Kym) Appointment: Jan 13 Return: Jan 14 Total: $500 I hate leaving reviews like this, but this experience really got to me. I booked a consult on Jan 6 with the owner (Kym) for a soft strawberry blonde balayage + color correction and I showed inspiration photos. During the consult I was handed off to Jessica because she was described as their "fashion color" specialist. On Jan 13 I paid $500 and left with bright red roots and violet-toned hair. The color was uneven and not blended--it looked bold and patchy, not soft and natural like we discussed. I also asked for a trim (I hadn't cut my hair in years, so I knew I needed length off), but more was taken off than I expected. My before picture was in loose curls, but even accounting for that, it was more than I was comfortable with. I came back on Jan 14 asking for a senior stylist to correct it because I didn't feel confident repeating the same process with the same person. I was brushed off and told the same stylist would be doing the correction again. While I was seated at the wash station, Kym told my partner to move to the waiting area and said she would get a trespass warrant if he didn't. After he left, I felt like I was being pressured to go forward with a fix right then, and I no longer felt comfortable allowing them to keep working on my hair. When I asked for a refund, I was told they only do "fixes," not refunds. Between the outcome and how it was handled, I wouldn't go back. read more

This experience was extremely disappointing. My friend specifically booked an appointment with the owner, but was instead handed off to Jessica, who appeared to have very limited training. None of the requests or inspiration photos were followed, and there was little to no communication throughout the service. The final result looked nothing like what was discussed or agreed upon. I'm sharing before-and-after photos along with the inspiration images so others can clearly see the difference. This salon did not deliver the service that was promised or paid for. This experience was extremely upsetting and unprofessional. My partner was unhappy with her service and repeatedly stated she did not want the same stylist to touch her hair again. Despite this, she was pressured and intimidated into allowing that stylist to continue, with her concerns brushed off. When I was contacted to help and arrived, the staff did not deny that the service was botched, but instead told her she "looked better than before," despite us having clear before-and-after photos. While her hair was being washed by the stylist she had explicitly asked not to work on her, I was surrounded by staff and threatened with trespassing. A refund was refused, and when we were told to leave, they then attempted to prevent her from leaving while she was gathering her belongings. Clients should feel safe, heard, and respected, especially when something goes wrong. Unfortunately, that was not the case here, and I cannot recommend this business. read more

The haircut was good and all but I was charged an extra 17 for a blow dry and i wasn't told this until it's time to pay. I thought it was only 27. Thy who cut my hair asked me if I want to leave dry or wet and I said dry but she didnt say it was gonna cost extra to leave dry. read more

I walked in and was immediately greeted by the woman sitting at the desk. I noticed a lot of the employees standing around having conversations and a few customers getting their hair done. I was scared to death to be here, because this was my first real salon experience since my whole life I've been going to schools. I always loved sitting there for 2 hours having my hair played with and walking out with a style that was just mediocre. This time I wanted something different and quicker and I was in and out within an hour. My stylist was Kayla, and she told me she's been doing hair for about 4 years now and she did an excellent job. I didn't come in with a style in mind because I didn't know what the trends were anymore. I just knew I didn't want a "Karen" cut and wanted my ears to stay covered. Kayla didn't seem to be upset by me not really knowing what I wanted, and she right away gave me ideas on what she thought would be best. I went into this hair salon and got a rewind treatment in my hair. The woman that washed my hair did not do it correctly. Use no heat under the dryer so it did not take. I called and went back and still my hair is dry brittle and almost burnt after this treatment. Very high priced for the service . A $53 hair treatment that turned into $103 with just a blowout . UNETHICAL SALON-1 star because my hair is ok. I booked this salon after over bleaching my hair and needed low lights and a base color to correct it. Price said when I booked for a "color correction" which was priced at starting 103. I arrived 10 minutes early for my appointment. Jen started 50 minutes after my appointment time, while finishing with another customer. We decided on a plan. We decided on low lights, base toner and pull toner through. I asked her how much it would cost because I saw another review saying they advertise one price and then charge another. She told me clearly"I'm not going crazy, 125-150". I agreed to proceed. Jen was very unprofessional, dropping F bombs and over-shared stressful details of her life, and disclosed they hire "dipshits' right out of school so they "put her with me." She does my hair, does a 5-minute trim, and I told her not to bother blow drying it because it was almost 8pm. Decided to buy a product so the stylist could make commission due to skipping the blow-dry to be nice. I go to checkout and the OWNER, Kym, asks for the credit card, and added up the charges, and told me it would be 394. I was floored, and explained what happened. I know what I heard. If I had heard over 200, I would have not gone through with the service EVEN if I knew it was going to cost 250 tops. I asked the owner if she had any moral issues charging me that amount. She said, "No, they used a lot of product on your hair, and it's almost 8 pm." (Not MY fault because they started 50 min late!! ) The stylist chimed in and said the mistake was her fault. Jen stated "I told the new girl to mix me more color, don't charge her for the trim." Then claims she told me it would cost "200-250". I told them to keep the $29 product. At that point, I had my husband come in and talk to them because I was too angry to talk. He told them that 200 would be fair, and the owner said she had already charged us and "couldn't reverse the charges." This salon does the bait and switch. They are unethical, and the stylist basically called me a liar. They sized me up and took advantage of me. Charge was $374 at the end. Way more than I've paid at nice salons for a low light and a base color. AVOID this place unless you can afford hundreds more than quoted, and don't care about patronizing a business with no ethics or morals. Worst, most stressful salon experience EVER. read more

***Update*** I decided to try a different stylist this time and I have to say that he was amazing. He really did a great job on my perm and listened to me. He made sure that I was comfortable with what he was doing and he really understood my requests and even asked to see my inspiration picture several times to make sure he was on the right track. My hair has great volume and shape now! If you need a perm or a really great cut I highly recommend going to see Joseph. He is the only person I will be entrusting my hair to. He made me feel comfortable and heard. I wish he would've been who I saw from the beginning. It was such a different experience and I am really happy that I asked to see someone who specializes in perms and gave him a chance. The front desk lady who recommended him did a great job listening to me and helping me find the right person for the job. The reason for 4 stars is because I still cannot excuse the way the other stylist acted, and no one ever reached out to me to discuss what happened. ************************ I've been trying to decide for a while if I should leave a review or not. I decided that I would but I'm not going to name the stylist. I went to this salon 4 times over the course of a year. My first appointment went okay, I was pretty conservative and was content when I left. My second appointment the stylist canceled last minute. I get it life happens, so I chose to use a different stylist there who had an opening at the same time. She did a decent job, but I wasn't exactly thrilled and chopped it up to inexperience on her end. 3rd time I went in for a perm and no cut and the perm came out nicely, though she did get the perm chemicals in my eyes. It burned quite badly and she apologized and tried to help me wash my eyes out and stop the burning. Here's where it gets bad. 4th trip, I was feeling comfortable and some what confident in my stylist since it was my 3rd trip to see her. She brings me to her chair and I show her some inspiration pictures and she barely glances at them. She introduced me to the girl she was training. She starts my touch up perm and is making jokes about how much she sucks at perms and how much better her trainee was than her. I wasn't too concerned, though she did seem kind of "off" from what I was used to. The trainee did one side while she did the other. They finished the perm process. It comes time for the cut and I asked her if she wanted to see the inspiration pics again. She says no she's got this. I told her again that I'd been growing my hair out for at least 6 months and reminded her of how slowly my hair grows. She still didn't "need" to see the pictures. I should've just told her to stop and not cut my hair. She cut off, literally ALL of the hair she just permed and shaved everything down to the scalp. I ended up with a man's bowl cut, and it wasn't even a good one at that. To make matters worse as she is cutting my hair, she is laughing and making comments like, "wow this is not my best hair cut", "man you came in on a bad day, my first appointment of the morning canceled and I've just been playing all morning, sorry I wasn't warmed up for you", "you need color, I'm your girl but I don't do good perms", "oh man I f$&@ed up". She was laughing as she made these comments. She knew she was messing up and instead of stopping she just kept cutting and shaving. Another customer was looking at her like she was insane and looking at me like what the heck is she doing to your hair?!?!? Then she had the nerve to charge me full price, still laughing as I was trying not to cry walking out the door. I'm not a confrontational person and at the point I just wanted to get out of there. I'm not sure if she was on something or just truly thought it was funny to mess up that bad. She cut off at least 6 months worth of growth and gave me the worst haircut I've ever had in my life, and she knew it. She still laughed as she said sorry, took my money and joked about how she just wasn't good at "that" and that if I ever needed color she was my girl. When my husband saw my hair he said, "Oh no what happened?" I was mortified and spent weeks trying to figure out how to style my hair to lessen the sharpness of the bad haircut. In the end I just did my best and have been letting it grow out. It's been several months and a lot of work but I'm almost back to where I started. Deleted due to space constraints. read more

I'm so glad I found this salon and spa. Donna does my manicures and does excellent with acrylic overlays and gel polish. Kendra does my hair- highlighting , cutting, styling and she too is excellent. I've had the facial microdermabrasion and henna eyebrow tattoo from Jenna and was pleased with her services as well. The salon will take your temperature on your wrist upon entry inside the front door. All the employees wear face masks. It would be nice if the massage feature of the pedicure spa chairs was operational. That's the only reason for 4 stars and not 5. read more

I did not get what I asked for at all, the stylist working on my hair had to ask another stylist for help, and that one did not know how to do a perm. She didn't curl the left side of my hair the same as the right side, so all of the left side of my hair is basically wavy while the right side looks like a poodle. Unhappy first time experience, won't be returning. I scheduled lash extensions with Elena & a balayage with Janet. The lashes were pretty but one eye had much more volume than the other and the lashes wouldn't stay down. My hair was brassy and orange when I came in & it only seemed like she washed and cut my hair. I showed her a picture of what I wanted ( icy blonde balayage) and she made it seem doable until it was time to dry my hair, then said it wasn't possible unless my hair was bleached numerous times and that could cause breakage. My hair looked fairly similar to when I first came in. Then I returned to have it "fixed" & asked for an all over color to cover the brass roots - my hair is now red, blonde, gray, and brown now.
