The stylist in my Opinion purposely cut it beyond repair. I tipped this stylist $200 for missing my appointment. I feel they purposely ruined this hairpiece. These are my opinions. I was never able to wear it because it was garbage. I actually think they didn't care at all imo. I wouldn't ever recommend this salon. They really don't understand the psychological impact that women face when going through hair loss.

For other women who suffer with the battle of alopecia please read this review…read more I have struggled with this condition for many years and have fought through the feelings of vulnerability, embarrassment and being broken hearted. It has always been a fight and for the first time I felt like I came out on top when I came here. I decided to make the investment for myself. Amy runs the show here and she is very aggressive. Just like at a car dealership I was sold. In the end I spent $4,200.00 and had to give a non refundable deposit of half. Once they got my deposit I was made to feel like I was a pain and they didn't help me achieve what I was originally after. The wig never looked right, never felt right & still doesn't. A required tip for the stylist as well??? Though I will say Christine was very nice. Bottom line I was brushed off once they knew there was nothing in it for them. The biggest issue was the lack of compassion and any interest in helping once my piece walked out of the door. Anything after 30 days requires a fee, which is understandable, but to be treated as though you are a huge inconvenience and to feel like you're being scolded? Amy is very aggressive, overbearing and impatient.... and get this....she's the owner! How does this even happen? This is obviously my interpretation but I'm pretty thick skinned. Bottom line, nothing that I hoped for. Do your homework, take your time and most importantly don't feel pressured.

I have to preface my review by saying I have purchased 6 wigs from LavishRed since 2021 and have…read morebeen happy with the quality of their products and service in the past. This review is for a custom-made curly frontal wig I bought from a different company "Branded by Lola" and brought to LavishRed to have changed to a closure. My main concern was the fit as the original wig was too tight for me, and I realized I'm too lazy for frontals. I dropped the wig off in early December 2023, paid $500, and got a call less than a week later to pick up the reconstructed wig. I have been to this store numerous times over the last few years, so I know that they have customized wigs styled and waiting on a wig head so the customer can try them on and confirm that everything is ok before they walk out with the wig. When I picked up my wig, it was in a bag. It was brushed out so I couldn't see the curls and the color. The guy behind the counter didn't ask me if I wanted to try it on. I had to ask to try it on. I love (well, loved) this wig but had barely been able to use it because it was too tight, so my primary focus was ensuring that I could now wear it with ease, plus I've been a customer for a few years, so I thought I could trust them and didn't worry about the color or anything else. I was happy with the fit and took the wig home. I deep conditioned the wig at home to get it back to its curly state and noticed that the color of the closure did not match the original color. I don't expect it to be a 100% match, but the color is way off. The original color is dark brown at the roots with blonde-caramel highlights - custom made to fit my skin tone. The closure they made is a light brown at the roots with blonde-caramel highlights. The color on the closure is also brassy and doesn't look professional. They gave me back the frontal piece, so I have it in the pictures for comparison. There was also a lot less hair (less density, and length) than the original wig. I even think they re-dyed the original wig (maybe to get it to look kind of like the closure) so the wig is super dry and limp. I honestly don't know what happened here. The new color is too light and is a terrible tone for my skin color so I can't use it. Now I understand why the wig wasn't prepped for me to try on at the store. With the hair brushed out, there was no way I could see that the wig had been butchered. It's also my fault for being too trusting and not doing a more thorough check. The original wig was quite expensive, so plus the reconstruction cost, I'm out a lot of money. This type of behavior is so dishonest, and the company should be ashamed of not only the product but their conduct. Why would you send me home with such a horrible product, especially since I've purchased so many wigs from you? Everyone makes mistakes, so I would have understood if they had owned up to the error and tried to rectify the situation instead of being deceptive. Prior to this year, I've had great experiences here, but I won't be returning after this. This experience was truly despicable. Edit: Just wanted to post a warning - Here are the texts (See attached) I received from the business owner after they saw my review. The texts were full of insults (even though I never insulted them). I simply posted a review about my negative experience entirely driven by their poor service. One of the insults insinuated that I am an escort - I have nothing against people who choose to work in that industry, but I work for JP Morgan Chase in a Data & Analytics role. A simply google search on their part would have shown my LinkedIn profile, articles/podcasts about the work I do, and the website I built to help people who want to get a job in the Technology Industry. This type of behavior is sad and scary. If you are a professional lady, you might want to think twice before visiting this store.

Hair grand daughter bought was not a good batch. Wigs were ok could have better for the priceread more
