I ordered up a mani and pedi to go along with my haircut. What a WONDERFUL establishment!!! Not what I expected at ALL! So clean, modern and Spa like! It offers all sorts of beauty treatments! I had a regular mani and pedi combo which is a booked for 1hr 45 mins. Very very thorough! She really worked the nail beds with that tool thingy removing all that dead nail bed tissue from the nail on your hands and feet, Unlike most nail places that only lightly pass over. First time in a long time that I didn't go home and redo my locks! Though my hair is short, I had been trying to grow it out! We all know how that goes...lol I ended up with a cute sassy funky cut....I'm no young chicken, however I didn't want that same old dated look. Heck this is 2020! This year I'm going to start treating myself with some pampering! At least once a month I'm going to do something spa-like. Before I retired I treated myself all the time. They do something I've been waiting to try for a long time, and that is "Yoni" Steaming! Having been to many high end salons, and gotten this cut before, I expected point cutting and newer techniques. I felt like I was at Great Clips. When I left, I thought the cut looked ok. It was like this was perfectly normal. Once in the private room she locked the door and told me to undress. I asked did she mean completely and she said just the lower half. Then I laid on the table and told her this was a first time waking for me. So she suggested starting with a bikini wax to see how I felt about the pain. I didn't find the pain that bad. At some point, she made the decision to continue because I wasn't experiencing pain. At time she asked me to change position on the table. She moved parts of me around as necessary and we talked about things like family. Sooner than I thought, she was done and handing me a mirror to check how it looked. I was very pleased. Last night, I did have a little redness, but not as much as might be expected. I rubbed on a little cream and by morning most of that was gone. Now other than no hair, everything is normal. Pretty sure I will be going back to her. She is the only one there that does Brazilians. She is so business like about it that it isn't even embarrassing as I had feared it would be.

I walked in and Shannon was at the desk and gave me a tour of the facility. I was so impressed. She took me in for my manicure and I must apologize for forgetting the young ladies name but we chatted alot and she is half Honduran. She gave an amazing manicure, pleasant attitude and so energetic. She made the entire manicure relaxing. I was then taken to the haircut area where Vladimir took care of me. He gave me one of the best haircuts I have ever had in 50+ years. The beard trim with facial cleansing was professional and almost but me to sleep. His attention to detail was amazing. Upon completion I decided to setup a membership based off of the professional attitude of the staff, the welcoming environment and the prices are definitely equal to the work. I recommend this place for sure. I have shared my feedback with my fellow veterans who work on Fort Bragg. It is worth the drive for 2 hours of relaxation that helps you forget the stress of life.

They also offer you and I mask type essential oil situation where you can pick different scents. After your hair is done washing you get processed and then you go back to your sitting area. It took a little bit to get my hair to the desired look but Michaela and the salon made it very easy to work with and get the results we were hoping for. I appreciate them for being so accommodating and ease of everything. Michaela is a great stylist and I would recommend booking with her anytime!
