Cheap free extra noodles Noodles ok don't think home made Broth flavour excellent not too heavy and not pissy weak. Sell Gyoza had them before very nice. Ramen sauce, white vinegar, chilli oil, pepper all free not like some places. Comes with small side of spicy pickles. Great fast ramen, decor looks like a hole in the wall ramen store in Japan. They have a few branches around Brisbane. Why none in Sydney ?????

When I finally made it to the city I found myself at Pho Viet, what I think used to be Viet D'lish, the really tacky shop with the pictures and fluro paper signs everywhere. Pho Viet's exterior is modern, clean and minimalistic, maybe even a little too bare? I originally wanted Banh Mi but as the name of the shop is pho I thought I better give their main dish a try, I also got a Vietnamese Iced coffee. The food and drink were pretty swell, the pho was tasty and had just the right amount of noodles to beef/beef ball ratio and the iced coffee was delicious as always. Overall a very good and healthy alternative to a lot of the other trash being served in The Myer Centre, I saw that they also had the famous noodle salad and a chicken soup on their menu if you want to have a bit of variety.

That's where I found some of my favourite Laksa. It's one of my favourite meals now. Really anything you order will be delicious. Now because the Yum Cha that was at North Lakes wasn't bringing in the customers consistently and have been taken over. Doesn't mean I won't make my way to the Myer Centre one. Because I am a uni student, and I've always been a sincerely picky eater, liking this place and having a love for this cuisine, it means a lot to me. My only pointer would be, to be patient and clear with what you want as an order, don't get annoyed if you weren't voicing what you want to the server. That's not on them entirely, it's on you too, especially when Myer Centre is bustling and rustling. Don't go off just one visit either. Order different things. Not just your usual, I get like that too, habits are deeply instilled and you can have the same thing nearly every day.

There's also congee if you're in the mood for porridge. The yum cha selection is also ample. For me, I tend to go for some of the lesser eaten stuff like beef tripe and tofu skin rolls. The fact that they actually serve such dishes in a fairly western dominated environment shows that there's likely actually some demand for their more traditionally Chinese items. The flavors are as you would expect in a fast food type Chinese restaurant. The clear soup is a tad salty but not overwhelming and but the respective meats are tender and substantial. The yum cha isn't anything to write home about but it does the trick when you've got that hankering for some solid trolley fare. Overall the food is filling and relatively inexpensive. Couple that with fast service and polite cashiers led me to give it a very strong 3 stars.

Yum Cha Noodle Haus - Closer look at the rubber meat. They take extra care to microwave the meat before serving in order to reach it's perfect "rubbery" level.

Starting at $52 for a beef salad, miso soup, king prawns, teriyaki chicken, beef wagyu and fried rice it is a bit on the exxy side, but the entertainment book has vouchers which will save you and a friend or lover up to $40. Plus, it is also an extension of the Stamford Hotel... all a little bit per tur per tur. 'You wanta fire?' 'You wanta catcha egg?' 'You want to flipa rice?' Where else do you get to wear a wax coated bib and have food being thrown all over yourself and the floor? For a Wed night it was pretty packed and you have to ready to sit next to strangers and have a bit of fun. Laughing a plenty and taste buds a yummy, it was quite a pleasant surprise I got to what I expected. It is a great place for virgin-teppanyaki-goers to start off and experience. Food is tasty, the atmosphere is fun, the chefs talented. Loved it.
