I was warmly welcomed by "Jo-Jo", who is super sweet and bubbly. (I even liked her look). Paige, the dental hygienist, and I spent so much time together with me as a new patient that I thought she may be my new best friend, lol! She did a thorough job (without hurting me AT ALL) and was very nice and personable to boot. Although I received some bad news, it was delivered in the best way by Dr. Balling. He was great too - very down to earth and kind. [It's great to go to a private dentist again versus a "chop shop." (In Eastern's defense, ONCE you FINALLY get back for your care, they did a fine job or we wouldn't have been there for so many years . . . it's really a shame that they ticked me off one too many times, but everything happens for a reason!).] Thanks sister :)

I get to lay comfortably in a room with a window view. The staff are always friendly, welcoming and professional. They know me by name and they take good care of me. I love walking away with my teeth clean and fresh. They have added new dentists in the practice over the years, and everyone is excellent! First timer giving a bad review. I am having an issue with Dr Turner Romanko's office and I've…read morecalled Cathy (office manager) two weeks ago to explain the situation. (keep getting billed from a broken tooth done by the oral surgeon who is handling the situation- different office) (came to Dr Turners to fix the tooth) Like I said, I left the message two weeks ago with the front desk person. Instead of calling me back she sent me a letter (replying to my call) In this said letter, it stated that I didn't make the complaint (of my sons broken tooth) until 4 days after the procedure, which is not true. Procedure was done on a Thursday and I spoke with the surgeon on that Saturday when he was away. Surgeon called me back from his vacation! Instructed me to call my son's dentist to fix it and he would foot the bill. Called Dr Turners office that Monday and they got my son in that day to fix it but the bonding keeps coming off the tooth. After getting this letter yesterday, I called Dr Turners office and Cathy is off. Works Tues, Wed, Thurs. Then I called the surgeons office. He actually called me back today to further understand what Dr Turner's office is saying because none of what Cathy said happened at the oral surgeons office was true. Instead of calling me back, she made up information and made it out to be our fault when my son's tooth was broken during a procedure. At this point it's not about the copayment, it's about what's right. The last sentence of her letter states, "We consider this matter resolved and appreciate your understanding." Does not give me a chance to explain what actually happened. Moral of this text is to stsnd your ground. Your integrity is important. Cathy was not there at the time of surgery and is making up stories about the surgeons office. Also- still hasn't called me back. That's an unprofessional establishment, if you ask me. Not to sound dramatic but my son was the victim in this situation and Cathy and Dr Turner are making it look like I did not report this quick enough and who knows if his tooth really broke during surgery. And any further problems with the tooth is on me. When in fact the surgeon said it's not! The actual moral of this text is to return a patients phone call and all of this would have been avoided. She called the wrong people and took their word. Needless to say we will not be returning to Dr Turner Romanko.

I have been going to the Laurel Springs office for quite some time. Apparently there is new…read moremanagement. There is an obvious difference in service such as less wait time, the staff appear to be more at ease, and the staff were more communicative than I've previously experienced. I told the staff that completed my dental work that I noticed a great difference and that it was by far my best visit there. That is when I was thanked and told that they were under new management. Then, I was encouraged to present a review as there were a lot of negative feedback, previously. I was glad to. Unfortunately, I am experiencing some negative dental experiences following the procedure I had, yesterday. The office isn't open, tomorrow. Hence, I will have to wait until Monday to hopefully have it fixed and the discomfort relieved. I will come back to this sight and post my follow up.

I am so p*ssed right now, that I am speaking this review into my phone as I am driving late to…read morework! I had scheduled a dental cleaning about one month ago for 9:30 AM. (When I walked in at 9:15 AM, I had a bad feeling because the waiting room was piggedy packed!!!) At 9:45 AM I checked with one of the girls at the front desk as to when I would be taken back. She said that she would go back and find out and come back and let me know. That never happened! The patient next to me had a 9 a.m. appointment, and was still waiting for his "turn." At 10 AM., I went up to the front desk again and told her that if I wasn't called back by 10:15 AM that I had to leave because I had to go to work. She told me that three patients were still ahead of me! WTF?!! She softly apologized to me and said other patients had complained of the same thing (waiting too long / being taken LATE). So why don't you change your protocol or scheduling of appointments?! Now they will be losing myself and my two children as patients!!! THREE PATIENTS GONE and I bet more will follow suit! The girl at the front desk, offered me April 24th as a reschedule. Uhh NO! Seriously?!! FIT ME IN FOR YOUR ERROR!!! There are way too many dentists, doctors etc., providers to have to deal with incompetence! DO BETTER! I requested my dental records; thankfully there is no cost for them and I now will be going to my sister's dentist! I am now late for work, did not have my teeth cleaned, and I'm in a foul mood! Farewell Eastern Dental!!!
