I used to think of Trader Joe's as a more upper-middle class grocer, but not anymore. Everything (with the exception of meat and milk) is very affordable. That said, their shopping experience remains the same high-quality, enjoyable experience, with aisles of yummy options to browse, especially with the rotating seasonal options and new offerings. I've been here several times since moving to Eagan, and I've always encountered friendly employees. The checkout always moves quickly and efficiently. I also love grabbing some free stickers and coloring pages on my way out; it's like a little dopamine burst for my inner child! There are restrooms available to shoppers. They are gender-neutral, which is awesome for a trans guy like me. The bathroom walls are decorated with fun paintings much like the rest of the inside. They are also spacious and clean. Occasionally I have spotted a local food truck parked nearby, serving unique offerings. Once I got to snag some apple cider donuts that way, hehe. The only thing that's a negative about this place is that the parking lot (shared with the movie theatre) is smallish and has a weird layout, so navigating that can be quite challenging. Thankfully I usually walk! But even so, I have to watch out crossing because the cars aren't paying attention to pedestrians!

Their buy one get one free sale is going on now. It seems bait and switch. Example 2 corn dogs are $6.58 a package. You get one free, but that is 4 corn dogs for $6.58. Not the greatest deal. All the cards were activated right after Christmas and within 48 hours of activation the cards had a balance of $2 or less. After looking at all the transition history per card on the website provided by the Visa gift cards. We were able to see that every visa gift cards balance was transferred to a PAYPAL account! Someone in this store is taking pictures of all these gift cards and is waiting until you activate the card to take your money!!!
