I appreciate that such services exist my family member was not feeling well enough to get in the…read morecar with me to go to an urgent care when I stopped by to check on them, but symptoms were not bad enough/vitals were still within the range of normal, even if they were on the low end of it, that when EMTs checked them it wasn't enough to take them to the ER, particularly when they stated they didn't want to go. So having a service that brings urgent care to them was a great relief. So first, shout out to the front office staff. I ended up calling three times for two issues (making online appointment, then the tracking when someone had been dispatched, not showing me where they were so I wasn't able to determine when I should wake the patient to be to have them be ready) and a request: I had made the appoint for my family member as myself being the individual payer because I didn't want to wake them to get their insurance and didn't want to use their card -if there were going to be billing issues, I rather I dealt with it then them- closer to appointment, they had woken up and I was able to get the insurance information and when I called, they understood the situation and put in the insurance information for the first line of payment, my card being second to catch what isn't covered. Now, it's only been a day so I don't know if the refund for the initial pay will go through as stated, as you do get charged at setting up the appointment. But also, all their fees are listed on their website, including the extras that might be recommended so I understood what I was possibly on the hook for. From other comments, I will keep eye out on possible billing issues of double billing and such, but their fee schedule is listed and each option during the appointment was made clear it was a separate thing from the initial fee. I'm willing to admit, I wasn't the one who was ill/the patient and someone who is may not understand it because when you're ill it can be like that, but as far as what is covered by initial fee and not, that is laid out. And it is pricey for individual pay, but you are getting someone to go to your place to provide actual medical assessment/care, so it's not like it's a medical version of Temu, with off brand equipment and medication. Second, shout out to Tylar, who was the one dispatched. She was very kind, professional, and respectful through the process. Even when being coughed on a time or two due to timing of when swab was being done and the need arose. She took the time to add in a second insurance I wasn't even aware they had, but that they informed her of at appointment. Third shout out to Dr. Nangrani, even if done via Zoom, I felt he took the appointment seriously and listened to what was being said, particularly when it was mentioned there was shortness of breath -new information to me and not told to the EMTs earlier in the day-, even if they were talking alright and their O2 levels were in 'normal' range if hovering on the low end. What was prescribed was clearly the right call because there was notable improvement the next morning and O2 levels have since trended up. There was a follow up zoom call that was opted for, just in case there hadn't been improvement in the morning and I believe the intake nurse -sorry I couldn't find your name!- and Dr. Busoul were just as professional. Overall, I'm satisfied how the appointments worked out, the niche the service serves is very much needed I think, and I would use it again for myself/other family

I have sent repeated emails and called multiple times to ask them to cancel and they will not honor my request although their website says "CAN CANCEL AT ANY TIME" which is obviously not true! I even went to my bank to dispute the charges and changed my credit card number to try to stop them but they somehow found the new number and continued charging me. The person in charge of billing (McKenna Miles) has never returned my emails or calls, just sends an automated reply each time and nothing happens! This is supposed to be a medical practice but it is a scam and the owner should be ashamed because this is not how patients should be treated. Since they will not respond to my requests or make any attempts to make me whole in this situation I am now forced to escalate this further. Do not go to or give money (definitely not a credit or debit card!!) to these people because they will steal your money and then ignore you!

Over the next 5 months, Laura transformed him into a much healthier person. She engaged him by staying next to him all night, physically preventing him from self injury. She got him eating again by coaxing and encouraging, and got him accepting medication. She was always on time and never distracted by external matters. Maxim Healthcare was very supportive of her. Biggest mistake I've EVER made in my life. Where to begin, the first aide who was to report on the day my dad was released from rehab was a no show, no call, no text for a 12 hour shift. Luckily, the other aide who was scheduled for that night offered to come in and work from 4:00 PM on Tuesday until 8:00 AM on Wednesday. Then there was the office receptionist who was sent unqualified, no medical training or even common sense and bipolar to add who had not a clue about my dad's medical issues and started beating on his pacemaker, then the aide who brought her 3 kids to work, the nut who reported for her shift but wanted to leave my dad alone because she was scared! But my all time classic favorite was the aide who put a dry depends on top of a wet one and considered the situation handled. Now we have supplies and meds missing, pads and 5 cans of deodorizers just gone in the wind. A bottle of Lorazepam that evaporated and a new bottle that wasted inside of a box while standing up in the box! And I haven't even mentioned the imaginary baths whereby my dad smells Ike urine and feces! So buyer be aware! If you don't love your family member and want them dead, this agency is for YOU! If you love your family member, don't even make a phone call! I'll be praying for you because they had me cursing and so upset that I went to ER thinking I was experiencing a heart attack! Nobody should go thru what we've been through and there are also feeding tube nightmares, too many to name! We all have to get older and with agencies like Ivory, you won't be in danger of reaching your latter years! ‍
