I appreciate that such services exist my family member was not feeling well enough to get in the car with me to go to an urgent care when I stopped by to check on them, but symptoms were not bad enough/vitals were still within the range of normal, even if they were on the low end of it, that when EMTs checked them it wasn't enough to take them to the ER, particularly when they stated they didn't want to go. So having a service that brings urgent care to them was a great relief. So first, shout out to the front office staff. I ended up calling three times for two issues (making online appointment, then the tracking when someone had been dispatched, not showing me where they were so I wasn't able to determine when I should wake the patient to be to have them be ready) and a request: I had made the appoint for my family member as myself being the individual payer because I didn't want to wake them to get their insurance and didn't want to use their card -if there were going to be billing issues, I rather I dealt with it then them- closer to appointment, they had woken up and I was able to get the insurance information and when I called, they understood the situation and put in the insurance information for the first line of payment, my card being second to catch what isn't covered. Now, it's only been a day so I don't know if the refund for the initial pay will go through as stated, as you do get charged at setting up the appointment. But also, all their fees are listed on their website, including the extras that might be recommended so I understood what I was possibly on the hook for. From other comments, I will keep eye out on possible billing issues of double billing and such, but their fee schedule is listed and each option during the appointment was made clear it was a separate thing from the initial fee. I'm willing to admit, I wasn't the one who was ill/the patient and someone who is may not understand it because when you're ill it can be like that, but as far as what is covered by initial fee and not, that is laid out. And it is pricey for individual pay, but you are getting someone to go to your place to provide actual medical assessment/care, so it's not like it's a medical version of Temu, with off brand equipment and medication. Second, shout out to Tylar, who was the one dispatched. She was very kind, professional, and respectful through the process. Even when being coughed on a time or two due to timing of when swab was being done and the need arose. She took the time to add in a second insurance I wasn't even aware they had, but that they informed her of at appointment. Third shout out to Dr. Nangrani, even if done via Zoom, I felt he took the appointment seriously and listened to what was being said, particularly when it was mentioned there was shortness of breath -new information to me and not told to the EMTs earlier in the day-, even if they were talking alright and their O2 levels were in 'normal' range if hovering on the low end. What was prescribed was clearly the right call because there was notable improvement the next morning and O2 levels have since trended up. There was a follow up zoom call that was opted for, just in case there hadn't been improvement in the morning and I believe the intake nurse -sorry I couldn't find your name!- and Dr. Busoul were just as professional. Was double billed for Copay and had additional charge of $79 which was not authorized. Contacted Billing via email because of course you can't call and talk to a real person. Its been over 10 days and still no resolution. Called the Direct line for the bIlling coordinator McKenna and a office in Euless answered and took a message and Chelsea had am attitude after I expressed my disapproval and she said she had nothing to do with that. I would strongly discourage anyone from using Business Urgent Care To Go. Before my appointment, I provided my insurance information over the phone and specifically asked what my financial responsibility would be. I was told they had verified my insurance, that my only out-of-pocket cost would be a $50 urgent care copay, and that there were no deductible concerns. During the home visit, the provider recommended COVID, flu, and other testing. I even asked whether the additional testing would cost more, and I was reassured that it would not--that my copay covered the visit and we could perform whatever testing was needed. That turned out to be completely inaccurate. I was later billed hundreds of dollars because my insurance did not cover many of the charges. When I attempted to discuss the issue with their billing department, I experienced extremely poor customer service. The billing coordinator was difficult to reach, unresponsive, and unprofessional throughout the process. What happened next was even more concerning. Without my authorization, the company charged $350 to my credit card. I was frustrated but initially chalked it up to poor business practices and decided I would simply never use or recommend them again. Then, over the weekend, they charged my credit card another $485 without my authorization. After multiple attempts to get answers, I was finally told this charge was for an alleged outstanding balance from 2024. The problem is that I had never received a single bill, letter, email, or phone call notifying me that I supposedly owed this money before they took it from my card. When I reviewed the itemized charges from those earlier visits, I found what appeared to be over $1,500 in charges for COVID, flu, strep, duplicate testing, and other services that I believe were excessive and unreasonable. This experience has completely destroyed my trust in this company. Between the inaccurate information I was given before treatment, the unexpected medical bills, the lack of communication, the poor billing practices, and the unauthorized charges to my credit card, I cannot recommend this business to anyone. I have filed, or intend to file, formal complaints with the appropriate regulatory agencies regarding my experience. Will not cancel my membership and continue to charge my credit card $199/month without my permission for 2 years now! I have sent repeated emails and called multiple times to ask them to cancel and they will not honor my request although their website says "CAN CANCEL AT ANY TIME" which is obviously not true! I even went to my bank to dispute the charges and changed my credit card number to try to stop them but they somehow found the new number and continued charging me. The person in charge of billing (McKenna Miles) has never returned my emails or calls, just sends an automated reply each time and nothing happens! This is supposed to be a medical practice but it is a scam and the owner should be ashamed because this is not how patients should be treated. Since they will not respond to my requests or make any attempts to make me whole in this situation I am now forced to escalate this further. AVOID URGENTCARE2GO - Dishonest Billing & Insurance Fraud I strongly advise against visiting the URGENTCARE2GO location in Farmers Branch. My experience with this office has been nothing short of appalling - not only due to the unethical billing practices, but also because of the complete lack of accountability when I tried to resolve the issue. I went in for a routine yearly physical, which is 100% covered by my health insurance. At checkout, I was unexpectedly charged $1. It felt odd, but I let it go. A month later, I received two separate bills - one from the doctor's office and another from the lab. That's when I realized something was seriously wrong. The doctor's office billed me $80 for a psychological evaluation I never received. What actually happened was a short multiple-choice questionnaire on an iPad about general mood - something I assumed was just part of the check-in process. Instead, they coded and billed it as a comprehensive mental health assessment, knowing full well that it wouldn't be covered under a standard physical. Had I known this would cost me out of pocket, I absolutely would have declined it. Even worse was the lab bill. They took 4 vials of blood, which seemed a little more than usual but not outrageous. However, I was charged $99 for a Vitamin D 25 Hydroxy test - a test that was neither requested by me nor medically necessary. But the most disturbing part? The test results were never even posted to my patient portal, meaning the lab most likely never ran the test at all. This is blatant insurance fraud - billing for a test that was never performed. I made multiple attempts to resolve the billing issues: Phone: I was passed around with no resolution. Email: I was told the charges were accurate and final. In-person: I was told the billing manager was "not in the office." It's clear to me that this business is designed to nickel-and-dime patients with hidden, non-transparent charges, betting that people won't fight back over $200. If you refuse to pay? They'll simply send it to collections and let it accumulate interest. It's a predatory and fraudulent model. I sincerely hope that this practice is investigated for its behavior. Where do I start? First the billing is not as transparent as their website advertises it to be. BEWARE. Yes you are charged that fee, but you will also be charged additional fees in ADDITION to a fee for the doctor to read you your results during a separate appointment, even if the results are negative. My daughter took the tests, I paid ALL their fees and everything STILL came back negative. It was literally a $328.98 expense paid right at that moment because they don't provide treatment until you pay, and there was not a single result. Yet, I was STILL charged 3 times. I was billed a total of $328.98. I am due a refund of $315.75. I have been sending messages about the billing issue since March. Fraudulent Advertising Practices and Billing.They advertise they are 24/7 when they are not when I asked my med tech he said oh no you can only book any appt 24/7 which is not what their bait and switch advertising says. Also, when you go to book your appointment with insurance you put yin your co-pay amount and your credit card for them to charge you that amount and then they just charge your card whatever the hell they want to I was charged $200 when the last time I saw them it was only $59 which is what my co-pay amount is and if they are to bill for anything other than they I have hit my max out of pocket for the year and it would be $0. This place is a scam. They advertise as a Mobile urgent Care. They have you feel out the information along with your insurance information. They charge you a copay and send you a text like everything is fine and they also give you a window as to when they will arrive. They later send you a text explaining that they are only ppo and they are not the primary physician listed on the insurance so it's going to be more money. EDIT: I got a very prompt email back from them telling me that I would receive a refund in 30-60 days IF the EOB they get from my insurance company says that I am due one. I'm contacting the better business bureau about this. I have a lot of health issues, so I've not only met my insanely high deductible, but also my insurance "out of pocket maximum" for the year. I saw that this place took my insurance and booked an appointment, based on my knowledge that I wouldn't have to pay anything out of pocket. The nurse arrives and informs me that I've already been charged $179 and that if I want a strep test it will be an extra $100 because I haven't met my deductible. I tell her this is wrong, and she contacts someone at the office and we stand there for ***20 minutes*** waiting for them to fix it before the appointment can start. She tells me finally that it's fixed and everything is covered, and that whoever put my information in the first time did it wrong. The nurse was great btw, no complaints there. But after she leaves, I get my invoice in an email, stating that the visit cost $179. They "fixed" it in that they didn't charge me for the strep test, but they didn't fix the fact that I was already charged. Based on other reviews, it seems like this is their standard way of operating. They just try to charge everyone the full price and then collect the insurance reimbursement on top of that. I recently found myself in need of urgent care. After signing up my situation degraded and I had to seek emergency services at a nearby hospital. Upon cancelling my urgentcare2go appointment I learned I would be charged the full amount of the appointment plus a co-pay fee ($179) IMO this is excessive at best and a scam at worst. Unfortunately in my state of pain and duress I was not able to understand all the fine print (multiple pages) included in the signup process. Thankfully I got the care I needed from a hospital and feel fortunate that I avoided a dr quack roadshow and take "lesson learned" from the experience to avoid online bookings with pages of disclaimers and lawyer-speak agreements that clearly don't consider the patient's best interest. Take test and get a neg result but they will not give you the result. 3. Now learn you have to retake test within 24 hours to get the results. 4. BUYER BEWARE!!! In terms of the medical care, they are great, but their billing and customer service is borderline lawsuit worthy. The first time I used their services, they charged me $129, I emailed their billing to state they had overcharged me as my insurance covered it t 100%. They refunded me promptly. The second time they did the same again, charged me the fee but this time when I emailed they replied and said I would get a refund but I never did, 45 days later I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company to get my money back. This most recent interaction my husband and I had the flu which resulted in 6 different charges totalling more than $715. Once again my insurance covered at 100%. I asked for a refund, nothing, 30 days later I asked 2 more times, I finally got a response that they would refund $500. I keep asking about the rest and they just tell me that's all they are going to refund. I have provided proof of the charges and matching EOBs from my insurance company showing 0 responsibility and asked for an itemized statement showing why they are not refunding the rest, they stopped responding. I tried calling to cancel the membership at $80/month (which is a year long contract for $1000) and was told my only option is a $200 cancellation fee. No one is "customer support" has the authority for a refund. $280 for no services rendered. STAY AWAY! I've used Urgent Care 2 Go at least half a dozen times and was happy with the service. Not this time! The doctor was not friendly and made me feel pressured to do a list of tests plus didn't call my scrip in until the next day. Usually you get the first does of meds when they're in your house and then a steroid shot to help you feel better. I got NEITHER of these things and had to keep asking for them. I never did get the shot. Lisa, the medical assistant, was wonderful but it sure didn't look like she was supported by the higher ups. I also put my insurance information in which included a $30 copay. Instead of $30, they deducted $149 plus another $30 later that day.
