They also removed a few smaller trees that were impeding the growth of other things planted nearby. Seeing the volume of help we needed, York RTS was able to prioritize work that should be done sooner vs later, so we now have a long-term plan for the care of trees and hedges on the property, within our budget. More importantly, York RTS was very creative in problem solving. Seeing the scale of our garden & understanding the amount of work needed to keep it going, they proposed the removal of a row of unwieldy hedges out front and expanded our lawn in its place. It's one less thing that needs trimming & managing and our front lawn is large & beautiful now. We really appreciate their effort to improve our curb appeal and reduce our weekend chores!

Due to constant employee turnover I've had to repeatedly explain the same procedures to many techs. I'd been over this a lot with the manager, and because I thought they were trying, given them every chance, for years. Last week they sprayed for tick and mosquitos in an area with my dogs outside. Spraying with dogs outside shows a real lack of thought, and I'm pretty sure is contrary to the techs training. They didn't leave a placard, as required by the state, so I didn't even know they had been there. This is all unacceptable. I called the manager to explain what happended and told him to finish up with this seasons lawn care program and I'd figure out something else for next year. I think that's fair enough after giving them many chances for many years. Then as I'm hanging up I can hear the manager mumbling about me being a "pain in the A**! Classy, especially when you consider any issues these guys have is due to poor management, their own incompetence and relentless employee turnover.
