After receiving several contractor estimates I asked Hale's master dry waller Gerald if the project was a job Hale's could cover. I had no idea all the construction services Hale's Roofing offered. Hale's did such a sensational job on my roof and drywall repairs I had full faith and trust that they would be my top choice. I reached out to Paige at Hale's administration to see if they would accept the project and the response was positive. Ben, Hale's estimator, was once again awesome to work with! The project expanded "in real time" to include a small closet and door framing which was no problem for the crew and approved by the Building Department. Felipe generously adjusted the pricing to best fit the project scope and I was so grateful for this! Miguel the carpenter and his assistant Francisco produced outstanding carpentry with skilled precision, proficiency, and creativity. Felipe, Miguel, and Francisco were well versed on the technical aspects of the wall cut out, framing, electrical protection, flooring impacts, and visual aesthetics. Then Gerald and Ricky, Hale's drywall guru masters, polished off the project with their amazing drywall skills of excellence and perfection. All staff was 100% solid, kind, honest, courteous, prompt, well presented, trustworthy, and respectful. My floors, furniture, fixtures, and property were nicely protected and immaculate during the entire job. The pass through, closet, and doorway turned out spectacular! I am VERY happy! Diego Mendoza took care of my roofing issue. Actually, it was a rattling air pipe for the hot water heater that made a mechanical clanking sound. Diego confirmed the appointment date and time in advance, showed up on time then located where the sound might be coming from. We had a great experience in having our roof recoated and shingles replaced with Hale's. Ye they are very far booked out but worth the wait. They were professional, always on time, describes exactly what they were doing each day, and cleaned up extremely well. The project manager Jose was always on site, friendly, and communicative. GREAT company! I recently purchased a new house with potential roof issues and my home insurance company required me to get them addressed within 60 days of closing. It was an easy process to make the initial appointment & I received confirmation by email. Dustin called before his arrival & was efficient with his estimate. He ended up fixing the minor things he found on the spot & didn't charge me a dime for his time. In all, he was here about 10 minutes and took care of issues noted on my home inspection report. After reaching out to a few other roofing contractors who either did not show up, showed up to assess the roof but never provided an estimate, or provided an estimate that was significantly padded, we were at the point of loosing confidence in all construction contractors in N. Very very long story short. Quote was in the mid-high range of the three quotes I got for our ridiculous roofs. They work on Madole homes often so they know what they are doing. Tear off has been a saga and i am really satisfied with the effort, attention to detail and work ethic of the crew. I love that they seal as they go for roofs like mine that are extensive amounts of labor during the rainy season. The amount of foam sprayed on my roof reminds me of those corny snow roofs on cliche christmas village attractions. Incredible amount of effort on their part to clean and contain debris. They have shown up crazy early...5am to beat the weather every day. We are so grateful for the work ethic and job they are doing. We will use them again for the other roof sections (we had to cut the job down to sections the roof is so big) we will finish with banking the roof with structural foam for optimal drainage and replacing all fascia with aluminum wrapped 2x10s...an 2" upgrade which will offer better protection. If you want skylights, get them on your own, i ordered through OC skylights in CA and they are drop shipped from Nevada. Get solar skylights for a 26% rebate. The crew is so professional and hard working. We are truly happy we chose Hales. Their experience with our unique architecture made them my first choice, their professional crew and standards will force us to use them again. Word to the wise...never put a foam roof on any house or building unless you are over 70 and expect to die before the life expectancy of the roof expires and thats only if you keep up with repaints. Its total crap and only as good as the elastomeric paint and the crew painting it. I doubt any crew hoses off the dirt pools and rocks from your roof before applying new elastromeric paint too...i have three layers of dirty gravely paint on the foam in some places. Foam roofs screw up drainage and looks hokey. you shouldn't ever walk on it and you must repaint it every few years. Tear off will cost a fortune, its going to blow everywhere at a land fill. It will forever make any brick walls lumpy and cause problems for future roof waterproofing systems, even flashing. Go with Hales, you get what you pay for. Simple. They are giving you good crews and detail oriented finishing, cleanup daily, weatherizing daily, using good materials and keep you informed throughout. I'm still amazed at how much work our tear off is. read more

I contacted Hale's just before a big snow storm with a leaky skylight. Dustin came out the next day and found a cracked and worn lens cover. He got a quote out the next day. I schedule the service and they said it would be about two week to order and schedule the work. Well, the came out the next day and had the skylight lens changed out in 30 minutes. I have since had them reseal all my roof penetrations (vents, pipes & such). Friendly, fair, and professional people -- highly recommended. read more

First off I have to say Hale's was a bit expensive, almost twice as much as other bids, but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. We wanted to replace the tile roof on our 3,000 square foot home. There was wood damage and leaks. A day after we signed the contract (and with rain on the way) workers were at our house covering the roof with plastic tarps. The roofers were able to get to our project about a month later after ordering the new tiles. Once begun, the workers were wonderful! The whole crew was polite and meticulous. Every day after working they cleaned up including running a magnet over the property to pick up any stray nails. The roof was finished before our big snow storm and looks amazing! The neighbors keep remarking how good it looks. It feels good knowing we have a weather tight and good looking roof. We couldn't be happier with Hale's. read more

I learned that is the roofers name for were two ajoining plains of the roof come together. Seemed like a major job to me; but they completed it on time, at the agreed amount, and in one day. A tree fell on my roof last year. I ended up getting the roof replaced. They were very good about showing up and getting things done. The job that was done was very good. They did have to come back and plug some leaks though. What upsets me, is they sawed right through my ceiling when taking the previous roof off. My ceiling is a tongue and groove finished wooden ceiling. They said they would cover the cost of the repairs and would have someone come out and do it. I have been calling them and begging them to have someone come and repair the ceiling to no avail. They called me back once and told me they have a person that was very busy and would get to me the following week. Of course they never got back to me. I called again and was reassured that the repair would be completed immediately. I was going to rent this house out for the summer season. I'm losing approximately $3000 a month in income because they have not completed their job. Should I sue them for lost income? What do you think? read more

It's rare to find a construction company that cares as much about quality of their work as Hale's roofing. Chad Hale and his company just put a metal roof on our Sedona home and did a fantastic job. Tearing off a roof can be a messy job, and the crew did it with care and concern about my landscape and my potted plants. They moved things out of the way and put them back when they were through. What really impressed was the follow up. Chad came back on his own afterwards and inspected the roof for any minor little problems that he saw...and sent his crew back to take care of them.
