I was directed to drive my car in, then once I got out, they jacked it up and had the wheels off before they had even given me the quote! Once they had the wheels off I felt pressured and then couldn't decline the service. If thats not pressurising the customer what is? The staff were pretty miserable and generally not customer friendly, ignoring you until they had to at last acknowledge your presence. The printer was not working, so they advised the receipt would follow in the post. They sent the recipt in an A4 envelope with not enough postage on (a single stamp). So I had to go to the Royal Mail office and pay the amount that had been underpaid, plus an admin fee to Royal Mail! Thanks a lot, Chessington Tyres. The worst place to send your vehicle to be repaired…read more The owner gave us incorrect advise on repairing my vehicle and decided to install a second hand engine, as he thought he could do it. This is not the case. He basically did not install parts back properly and had the vehicle for over three months, then I collected my vehicle . drove it a mile up the road and I got smoked out, enough to affect my asthma for a week, as I could not breath due to breathing in burning plastic fumes. The owner admitted to not putting a part back correctly and the manifold melted it. The owner confessed to me in his own words "I forget things and in hindsight I should have not told you I could repair your vehicle" So back the vehicle went again. He has bodged everything on the vehicle and even raised his voice over the phone to me this morning for no reason. I kept very calm as do not rise to insult! The owner previously forced an old intercooler pipe to the manifold with an incorrect Jubilee clip which was not part of the pipe. (his words today, he did not want to spend any more money on it) Even though he did not mind taking thousands from me, when I could have put that money down on a new vehicle. This has now caused the pipe to blow and come away from the manifold. I will now be taking my vehicle to a trusted garage to have this fixed and to find out what other damage Paddock Wood Autos have caused. My strong advice is to anyone considering using this garage, do not ever take your vehicle here. as they will lie and rob you blind. They do not care about keeping you safe in your vehicle even if you have young grandchildren in the car. Please be safe and go to a garage that cares and fixes your vehicle properly.

It was a petrol car and I know I'm a female but even I know petrol cars don't have GLOW plugs. Fitted the water pump, 2 days later I noticed a leak.. A wolf in sheep's clothing, no less. He advertised it on Autotrader for 6.600 pounds. A marvelous perfect gem that has no issues at all, he said. He kept telling me he was not a mechanic and that this was his wife's car. What a fool I was. What kind of thief invites you into his home so he can trick you? Fast forward. The next day the DPF light switched on, and my journey started. To make a long and painful story short! After four diagnostic checks at different garages, including the Audi dealership, which cost me 500 pounds. I found out the following: - The old man, works as an MOT technician and owns Autocare Canterbury. A Family-run business. This was the same family that sold me the car. Surprise! - They blanked the EGR valve because it was faulty and remapped the car's ECU so our OBD scanner doesn't find anything. It took me two months to find this out. It costs 900 pounds to fix. - They concealed with dirt that the car was hit in the front and cheaply repaired. After I washed it, I saw the damage. The wing needs repainting. 100 pounds. - I needed a new clutch after 2.000 miles only, 1.100 quid plus fitting. - The distribution kit, timing belt, and water pump that he ''changed'' couldn't be traced back on the receipt he provided. Probably another lie which will cost another 800 pounds. - He reverse-engineered the car's mileage like a pro. I got written proof. And God knows what might be wrong with this vehicle, and I didn't found out yet. This car would never pass an MOT check due to the missing EGR valve, but this company made it possible with its incredible trickster skills and devotion. They are dodgy people. I know they don't look like much but check them out on their website at AUTOCARE CANTERBURY. OUR TEAM. Don't be fooled like me. They are vicious criminals. And racist too. He was talking down on me and my friend, acting all superior. This should've been the first red flag, but we all learn from our mistakes. I hope. I think this is a clear case of fraud. I will see what the police have to say about it. I got all the evidence to back it up. And his fake receipts. And the phone conversations where he tells me he is not a mechanic but owns a repair garage. And a witness, the guy who tested the car with the OBD scanner before I bought it. Wow, that's a lot to get him where he needs to be. Stay away from this garbage garage and people!!! I hope this saves a soul from going through what I did.
