Conveniently located on Boghead Road next to two bus stops and on a road used by commuters of the sleepy town going to Glasgow the shop is the perfect little convenience store for all the little bits and bobs that you need on the way to work or on the way home from it. It's a fairly standard petrol station shop with a selection, magazines, cards, confectionary, cigarette, alcohol and a selection of last minute ingredients along with the usual essentials like bread and milk. It always seems to have good deals on wine too with a selection of different 3 for £10's on offer. Individual wines though tend to be a little bit more expensive than you would get the same for in a supermarket. A word of advice though, stay away from it at lunchtime as it's packed to the rafters with pupils from the local school Lenzie Academy filling up on ten pence crisps, pot noodles and pre-packed sandwiches. With it being attached to a mechanics, there is also a selection of all the little bits and pieces that you might need for your motor such as wax, shammy's and whatever else boys need for their cars.

Unfortunately I hadn't…read morenoticed until getting home, and upon returning I had them look - followed with a jobsworth old man saying that it wasn't them as "the machine would have scored them all the way round"... Yeah as if we have ball bearing kerbs in Scotland. The young lad - whom I was chatting to about cars previously while waiting on them fitting the tyres - went quiet (as if he knew fine well it had been carelessness on their part) and told me I'd need to come and speak to the boss who is on holiday. Perfect semi-circular scores around 3 wheels with the powder coat freshly seen flaking underneath. Joke of a tyre fitting company. Unfortunately parted ways with the car before the boss was finished his trip so never got round to having my issue rectified but the attitude of most of the staff and sheer incompetence, with 4 members taking a wheel each to fit, was appalling. Since been going elsewhere and never had any hassle. They even explained where Broadcroft had gone wrong. Avoid at all costs, idiots cannot carry out a simple task they should be well capable of doing. Fire the old tadger, he hasn't a clue.
