At John Hall Lumber, I was greeted when I walked in and was asked if I could be helped. I was not given any additional charges for cutting the wood and the wood was cut in 10 to 15 minutes and they brought it out to my van and loaded it up for me. We had a return to make and when asked what was wrong we were ignored. When it came time to pay our receipt was thrown on the counter and our change from payment was haphazard handed to us. No eye contact. No customer service, just a lack of respect really. We even had to bag our own items. Upon coming to the register the clerk was sitting on the opposite counter looking at his phone, so using the excuse "I was busy" wouldn't be a good one. Truly do not do this kind of thing often but disrespect and laziness isn't going to get you far in life.
