These are a great group of people! I say people because they were evenly proportioned with 2 men…read moreand 2 ladies that worked as hard as the men. I was extremely impressed by these four individuals attentiveness of what Jeffrey was instructing them to do. Jeff had initially told me $3800 for my rather large deck plus we needed a wheelchair ramp that I thought to be impossible to build given the space of good solid ground he had to work with up the street. My mom had to have it. Her health isn't good. Jeff explained to me that there could be more added at the end depending on what took place at my mom's home. If it turned taking him the entire 5 days he allotted for my two projects the total would $6100.00 which I thought was a great deal due to the situation at my mom's. Jeff and I decided to knock my Deck out then move to my mom's. These guys were done with my deck in 2 days. But when they finished at my mom's and was packing up to leave after day 3 I was astonished. Especially when Jeffrey came to collect for the job. I paid $3,000 up front like Jeffrey asked. That would have left another $3100. When he told me all I owed was $2,000 I almost cried. Awesome man of God!

But my nagging wife , who normally wouldn't be cheap , said that's who we are going with. So we hired them. I'm so thankful we did. Not only were the $3k cheaper, but the work was exceptional and flawless! They also finished in 4 day's. The other 4 contractors said 2 weeks at best. If your looking for hardwood flooring or a back deck built. Give Deerman's Remodeling and Custom Decks a call. You'll be thankful you did!

When we moved into our new home we had many grand plans, some of which are not allowed by the…read moreCounty, but quite a few of which we will eventually get done...one-at-a-time. When we started this adventure I reached out to our realtor who gave me the contact information for Wright Ventures, LLC, and I am delighted she did because they are amazing! As i said earlier, I had big plans, which Dawson and Noah were more than equipped to take on, widening the driveway to make it a full two cars wide all the way to the street, enlarging the garage footprint, adding a pool house, and others. This review is regarding the widening of the driveway. We have a two car wide parking pad, but the driveway was only one car (maybe slightly wider), so because we temporarily have a large container on one side i was driving on the grass to get onto the inner side of the parking pad. This was clearly not an ideal situation, and Dawson and Noah moved quickly to secure the necessary approvals, including having to get a variance for the way the driveway met the street as new construction requirements differ from the way the driveways in our development were constructed when put in originally. Pre-dig screening was completed and we were introduced to Nash of Whitaker and Son, their subcontractor for the concrete work. All along the way they were willing and able to answer any questions I had as a novice to home construction endeavors. The actual work was completed over the course of two days with a few days required for the concrete to fully harden prior to driving on it. Nash, and his crew, came out on the first day, cleared and prepared the site for the pour to be done early the next morning. Day two was concrete pour day, they leveled, smoothed and tied it into the existing driveway and it looks beautiful! I wanted to tease them about the fact that the new concrete isn't a color match for what has been in place since the mid 90's, but it is too amazing for even the joke. I couldn't recommend Wright Ventures, LLC, and their subcontractors highly enough, and will absolutely be reaching out to them for future projects. Their work is impeccable, the cost was reasonable, and they are delightful!

My opinions and my experience with Fence1, Huntsville AL…read more I would not recommend this Fence1 company. Especially if you live in Birmingham since they are out of Huntsville. No local timely support. The "CFO" was unprofessional and communication was rude, in my opinion. When requested the owner to call me, he couldn't even trouble himself. The estimater, Will, was extremely nice, but once he gives you an estimate, he is out of the picture. The office staff said to communicate with them only. I paid April 29, 2026, and they said the fence was ordered. It was a black aluminum special order. They only carry one style in stock I was told. I was originally told usually 4 weeks, but sometimes shipped sooner. Next, I was told it takes 4 - 6 weeks. The fence was eventually installed one day shy of 9 weeks. I was told it would be a 2 day job. The workers (2) arrived after lunch and the "supervisor" said they might finish up today and work until dark. At 8:25 PM, they left and assumed the job was complete. I was told from supervisor, he would return the next day to sign off on job. On day 1, the supervisor initally stayed just long enought of spray paint the lines. Then left. The 2 workers worked extremely hard. No English, so had to translate on the phone. They said they had no water or lunch, so I provided for them. I will say that Fence1 said the do try and have all workers loaded up with water on the truck each workday. I followed up with the supervisor with concerns about the installation and cleanup and he said he would "come out here in the next few days". I told him all 3 gates were not installed correctly and he said "the metal gates are prefabricated and do not come to match the slope". I told him that is not true. When the workers came back out, they were magically more aligned. Seriously, Fence1. Maybe all the great reviews come from wood fences. But I assure you, my aluminum fence installation was not timely, it was frustrating, and just a pain. The only thing prompt with this company is their desire to receive final payment.
