You know how you meet someone that you are contemplating about doing business with them and they are so overly nice. They do everything except literally kiss your backside. But then once you agree to do business with them and you give them your hard earned cash and then everything changes.......that's exactly what happened to me when I made the big mistake of hiring Hall Rental Supplies to handle my only child's sweet 16th birthday party, which thanx to their sales rep Katherine or whatever her function is for Hall Rental Supplies. At first (before I gave her my money)Katherine seemed to be very open and genuine as I explained to her the party's theme and how I planned to proceed with my only child's sweet 16 party. She seemed to be in agreement with everything I suggested about doing my daughters party. And though her prices were a little too expensive she acted as if she genuinely cared and was very anxious to do the job. However, I came to find out that the only thing Katherine was anxious about was deceiving me out of my money . For example I ordered twenty of these expensive decoration pipes, paid for them and when they were delivered to me shortly before the party began twelve of them were broken or severely damage. In fact her incompetence delayed my whole event which cost me more money because I had to pay the D.J., the caterer, and the decoration and clean-up committee extra money due to the scheduled time being delayed because of this un-professional, irresponsible , so-called event planner. She only sent twelve out of the twenty and eight of which were severely broken. When I approached her about it she became irate and very disrespectful. So I let it go because it's my only child's sweet 16 party. Then I noticed that the very expensive napkins I ordered were not there so she sent someone to pick them up and they came back with the wrong color, and she tells me that she decided white would look better. Shocked and in total disbelief of her arrogance I kindly explained to her that I was the paying customer. Again her irate and disrespect was not appreciated and I had to drive almost 45 minutes to some dirty dangerous looking supply place to get the right napkins and try to find something to make up for the damaged merchandise she had sent me. To make a long story short, due to Katherine 's incompetence my only child's Sweet 16 birthday party was a disaster. Katherine ruined my daughters special day. And she has refused to return my money for the broken merchandise and for the services she was paid handsomely for and she did not render any useful services. She ruined everything. read more
