This food is so good, they also provide so much that it can be shared, price is not bad and the presentation is always beautiful.

I Grab a to go order of the oxtail. The Oxtail was very tender, falling off the bone. The Crispy smashed plantains, spicy cabbage, rice , peas ,and a simple salad were also very good. Service was quick and the woman that served me was a pleasure to talk too.Looking forward to trying the Griot and other items my next visit

I typically get the fried turkey with rice and beans. The price is about $21 a plate and is a good amount to have about 2.5 servings. The turkey is crispy and a good portion sized. They offer many of the popular drinks that can be found in the Caribbean favorites. Now, the service-- the service is not the best, it happens at way more Caribbean restaurants then I would like. The staff are nice but it is an incrediblely long wait- even if you order ahead, which I recommend doing. The space and ambiance is challenging. Its a small storefront so many people are hanging about inside or right outside waiting for their meals. Again, I highly recommend calling your order ahead to expedite your order and improve your experience.

I have never had Haitian food so I have nothing to compare it to. However, the chicken legs were cut up and appeared to fried naked, pretty damn good. Maintaining low carbs, I didn't have rice and beans, but can only imagine how that would have enhanced the flavor. When I I told I didn't want any rice or beans, they looked at me like I had 5 heads but I was cool with it. Instead of rice and beans, I had lettuce and tomato salad and what appeared to be a spicy based cole slaw. I did indulge in the fried plantain, so good. I was traveling and had a flight to catch, straight up ate it at a bar in the West Palm Beach airport with a cold beer 5ha5 was needed for that slaw. Folks at the bar was like that looks good. Yeah, was my response and go see our friends at Lakay Haitian Restaurant.

Although rice and red beans is a staple in the Haitian community, they refuse to serve it. If you ask for rice and red beans they say "yes we have it" but when you get your food it's a totally different rice. I'd rather go somewhere else for better food and better service. The fish filet is just about they only thing they have that separates them from any other Haitian restaurant in the area.

This restaurant came up as close by on our yelp app. It's not far from the turnpike on the south side of Lake Worth Road. We used to come to this busy shopping center/strip of stores years ago. There was a Thai/French restaurant my mom liked. It's no longer, but the small movie theater and a number of other new to us restaurants are here now (that we plan to try sometime). There was ample free parking out front. The door was open to the restaurant and we noticed the air wasn't working. We decided to stay anyway and sat under one of the ceiling fans. Later, they also turned on a floor fan so it was comfortable. There is a high top counter, a high top table, and a few regular tables. It is well lighted inside. They don't have a printed menu (it's online btw), but it is featured on a video on a tv screen in the corner by the food counter. There was also a sign with their lunch specials on the window. We decided to choose one of their specials. They cost $5.99 and come with rice, a bit of salad, plantains (which is a fried tostado), and your choice of meat. I chose griot -- fried pork and my husband chose their stewed turkey. The other two choices were stewed chicken or fried chicken. A canned soda also comes with it. Meals are cooked and/or are finished to order, so this is not a fast food restaurant. So plan accordingly. The food portion is large and a bargain for the price. I wound up taking half my rice (which has red beans in it) home for a later meal. My grilled pork pieces were tender and flavorful. I didn't use much of the spicy cabbage on the side. I gave it to my husband who loves spicy food. We added their ranch salad dressing to the salad -- and it was a good palate cooler. My husband's stewed turkey came in a bowl with a nice amount of slightly spicy sauce. The meat was tender and tasty as well. He had the same rice and salad as I had on my plate. We got to meet the owner/chef who came out from the kitchen to greet us and thank us for dining with them. It was a nice appreciated gesture. We'd definitely come back -- I still need to try a couple more of their lunch specials plus explore other items on their menu.

It's a four-star, easy, with two things: Air Conditioning. I came on a 90 degree day, and it was easily 85 degrees inside. Located west of Jog Road, no Bahama breezes. So y'all need to get the air working, at least to keep the air in the mid seventies. Menus. I'm good with running out of the paper ones. They need more on the walls. Hard to order without them. The restaurant was otherwise clean and comfortable. My meal was excellent! The people there are very nice! I look forward to returning to see the last couple of things added to get this authentic restaurant into the fast lane. Then, I can focus on the food, and not feel like I earned 10 days in the sweat box...
