But this Michael's has an extra bonus: a very nice and helpful employee, who was on the front register, when I was here around 9:45am Friday, July 17, 2026. I didn't get his name, but he was invested and interested in me as a customer-what brought me in and how he could help. He made good suggestions, bubble wrapped the Jonathan Adler plate I bought and shared my joy over finding Necco Wafers in the candy aisle. All this and... lots and lots of parking!!! Not only did Christine take it upon herself to call me back when I had not even asked for that thru the main call-in person, but she was patient, thorough, professional and completely knowledgeable about every aspect and item I would need to buy for my project. And sincere and loving. Thanks to her, I am now able to set my final goals into action and begin the next phase of my project. In fact, she went far and beyond what I had even hoped for, of which there is no space to comment on here. Consequently, I highly recommend that Michael's please give her a raise and a promotion... Michael's really needs to know how much they need to keep great employees like her working there, permanently. Additionally, the entire staff on the floor is also precious and together, they all know what they are doing to make either callers or in-store shopping a true delight. A longtime…read morefan of The Muppets, my boyfriend practically had to drag me to see the most recent Muppet movie. But we both left in awe at how cute and creative the storyline was. He loves them even more than ever and we've spent the last 2 months singing along to the Muppet Movie album in our car when we travel. So when it came time to think of a gift for him for his birthday I thought I needed to get him something no one else had. Like most gadgety, geeky guys, he always goes out and gets what he wants. His list of wants is either too expensive or too impossible. Then suddenly it hit me... I could have a custom-made muppet of him made! Worrying about whether it could be a weird gift or a great gift, I asked a few of his friends. When everyone shrieked and said, "YES!! DO IT!!" I knew I had it in the bag. After some quick online research I settled on Custom Puppets. James was incredibly kind and helpful throughout the 6 week building/shipping process. I sent in photos of Jim and pre-paid for the work. I got emails about every 2 weeks that either gave me an update on the progress or showed actual photos of the muppet while under construction. I happened to mention some really specific details and when the muppet arrived, it was PERFECT! Now it's a few weeks to the birthday and I just couldn't wait any longer. I convinced Jim to let me give him his gift early and we've spent the last few days cracking up and having a blast with the new 24" Jim muppet. This most recent visit was extra special , my daughter had her hair styled by Hailey for her Halloween costume (Rumi from K-pop Demon Hunters), and she absolutely nailed it! Hailey is so sweet, patient, and always has the biggest smile and most positive energy. The braid came out perfectly and totally completed the look. We've also celebrated a birthday party here before, and it was over the top fun! The girls got their nails and hair done, then wrapped it all up with a dress-up fashion show that they're still talking about. Ladee Da Spa continues to be one of our favorite places for special occasions or just a little sparkle day. Highly recommend!
