Turgeon Builders completed a project on my 1936 house. The builder in 1992 had not flashed…read moreproperly and the west side of an addition was completely soaked. It would not hold paint no matter what we did to prep the clapboards. This saturation became apparent when we insulated the house. Turgeon builders removed the soaked plywood and sills. They foamed the walls. applied new plywood and sided with certinteed cement board. For trim, I requested poly so that I will never hav to paint again. The job is outstanding. My goal was to maintain the georgian style and replicate the existing trim. Fantastic job. Cleanup was done on a dailey basis. When they left, you would never know they had been there. Except the west side of the house looks like a million bucks.

The workmanship was so poor that we hired Harold Hill to come in and repair all the prior drywall work and paint the project. The basement now looks pristine and move-n ready! Harold Hill was a true professional, was on time each day and finished the project exactly as quoted. Two months later we again enlisted the services of Harold Hill to repair poor drywall workmanship on our first-floor ceilings and to paint our living room, dining room and hallway. Once again, Harold corrected all the deficiencies, primed and painted the ceilings and walls and the place looks good as new. Previous renovations (done by another local contractor/ builder) were shoddy and allowed for major water damage that was hidden from me when I bought the house, but became apparent shortly after we started living in the house. HandyMan demo-d and removed all the water damaged flooring and sub-floor, redid the sub-floor with proper moisture barrier and heat insulation, and demo-d and and rebuilt two bathrooms in about two months. They started and finished exactly on time, and the bathrooms look amazing. Ian and Evan display high quality workmanship (flooring and tiling) and a professional, kind attitude. I also had a great experience working with the new design point-person, Petra. She was indispensable in helping me design the bathroom of my dreams, and took many trips all around the area to find the right materials and paint colors. I am thrilled with the final product and now have two perfect bathrooms, beautiful flooring that will withstand all the weather ups and downs, and a new laundry room. He did this under Justin's supervision and when it all went to hell (the job is still half done) Justin walked away with all the remaining money, provided no receipts, and ceased to communicate. Justin let a crook ruin my building (while he was collecting 15% on top of the subcontractor's wage) and then after letting things go terribly wrong he was not not man, or businessman, enough to make things right. I first hired D&G to deep clean after a home remodel so that my husband I could move back into our…read morecondo after months of work. Daniella and Gusto were gems to work with! The work dragged on, didn't finish when it was supposed... you get the picture. Daniella and Gusto changed their schedule several times, even arrived once only to find piles of debris, and equipment everywhere even though a promise to remove it had been made. They took it all in stride and took videos which helped us get the contractor on track. When they finally did get to clean they did a wonderful job. We have 11- 10' tall black black windows. Can imagine the dust? Each has black mini blinds. While I was smart enough to lift the 6 that were directly in the area of work, the other 5 are in bedrooms and they were often down and thickly covered with dust. We appreciated their patience and thorough cleaning enough to engage with them for occassional cleaning until we are able to make this our primary home. We have had our first cleaning with them, what a pleasure to come home to clean house after a month away. We hope to use D&G cleaning about once a month. Thank you Daniella and Gusto.
