I was closing on my home purchase in 2 days when the bank asked for my septic report...first time they'd mentioned it! 48 hours?!! Went scrambling for someone to get me off the hook, Chavis was booked into next week, Jean on the phone at Hall's heard my story, called out to her field tech to check his schedule, they put me in for 3 pm the next day. Steve showed up later in the day but Jean called around 3:10 to let me know he'd be there by 4:30, and he was. He'd already done a visual before he even knocked on the door. Gave me plats from the city/county, a guide to care for the system, and did such a thorough flush and pump. This was not easy...I live on a very hilly property and he had a tough climb back and forth up to the truck to switch from rinse out to suction up, but did not tire of it...he was downright dogged in his determination. It was 10 minutes past sunset as he drove away. Did the job like it was his own property...such a pleasure to experience. I'm a customer for life...between Jean's humanity on the phone, hearing my plight and seeing how she could help, to Steve's truly professional and good natured work, why would I ever think of switching. read more

Worst service ever. We called and canceled our appointment and they still showed up. They went onto our property without permission, we have our whole yard wired with cameras. Their guy started to pump our septic tanks without our permission. He never came to the door to inform us that he was there, we have a door bell camera. I called the company they first stated it was their fault we do not have to pay. The owner then called my husband, cussed him out, stating we were lying and that they driver got our permission, which NEVER happened. The owner then threaten legal action if we did not pay. I have been giving this company business for several years and it was ok service. Recently I asked them to do a inspection and pump at two homes, almost a $1,000 worth of work and they don't show up. We sat there waiting and no one comes. I call and their was a miscommunication on their end. Instead of apologizing, the owners wife blames me! Completely unprofessional and argued with me on the phone. No "I'm sorry we messed up", just says she can't never ahold of me (on past inspections, which isn't true), yet here we are on the phone together and when the person I had waiting called to ask where they are, she trashes me to them on the phone. If you need any assistance with getting sewage pumped, this is the place to call for help. I had a grinder pump that needed to be replaced because we had mistakenly been putting baby wipes down the toilet which clogged up the pump opening and burned out the motor. A very expensive lesson. Bottom line, DO NOT flush any baby wipes down the toilet, not even the flushable kind. When the technician was replacing the the pump he had suggested that I get the entire pump cleaned out to remove the remaining wipes that were floating around. Yuck! Not knowing anything about what this tank was in the first place since I have always been on public sewage my entire life, I didn't know who to call in such short notice. I had called 3 other septic service places and they were charging around $400 to clean out the tank but were not able to come till later in the week. When I called Hall's, the nice lady (sorry I can't remember her name) asked me what I needed and quoted me a much lower price and asked when I would need the service. I told her ASAP and she put me on hold for a few seconds and told me that Jerry would be able to accommodate me within the next 2 hours. How awesome is that. Jerry came by on such short notice, cleaned out my grinder pump tank and actually gave me a discount on his services probably because I was helping him out and he also probably felt bad for me being a dope who was flushing baby wipes down the toilet which eventually ruined my grinder pump. I've lived in my house for about 4 years now and this is my first home. I'm not familiar with septic systems at all and I've had a bad experience with a certain "well known" plumber when I had an issue (luckily I knew enough to know they were trying to rip me off and I was scarred to have the same situation with the septic co.) I was concerned about a spot in my front yard that has gotten very bumpy over the last year or so and a friend suggested I make sure it wasn't something caused by a leak in the septic system, and he suggested Hall's. I called and made an appointment and they said they'd be here a few days later between 2-4. I had to take off work early and was hoping it wasn't going to be closer to 4. The guy (wish I remembered his name) was here a little after 2. I explained my concern hoping it wasn't something serious and that I knew nothing about septic systems. He was very nice and explained everything to me and how everything works. (I plan to put a above ground pool in and wasn't sure if it would conflict with underground tanks). I wasn't sure if I needed a pump out because I'm not home that often and its just me that is here full time. He explained that it wouldn't hurt but let me make decision, no pressure which I appreciated. He did his thing- just a heads up- close your house windows before having your septic pumped!!!. After he explained what he did and offered a "how to care for your septic system" print out. With that said, I was very pleased with Hall's and would definitely recommend them.
