Our apartment ceiling was leaking from the appliances, all the way into the guest bathroom, and still no one has come here to fix anything. The audacity of the LACK OF HELP. They expected us to clean up behind this mess, when this is NOT OUR FAULT!!! I have contacted office management Sheryl multiple times and she never remembers anything, I'm starting to think she suffers from memory loss. I have even contacted their so called regional manager, and still have not heard from anyone. THEY DONT CARE, THEY JUST WANT MONEY. I would much rather be somewhere, that they appreciate our business. I should've known something was up when i saw all of the good people like Candace, who worked in the office, leaving. I'm telling everyone RUN THE OTHER WAY.

Meanwhile the mold in the kitchen was getting worse. They keep saying they were going to have a professional come and clean it but at this point they were going to have to tear down the whole wall. Turns out the neighbors also have had mold problems that were never fixed so we moved out after 3 months arguing with them.

There are a lot of kids, which isn't a problem especially if you have a family of your own. The problem is when they're out late way past a reasonable curfew, screaming nonsensically. The upkeep of the premises leaves a lot to be desired. Trash everywhere. People don't seem to understand the notion of cleaning up after themselves and their children. No consideration for anyone. I've had issues with upstairs neighbors which have not been resolved. They're constantly noisy and they smoke weed enough that it stinks up my unit (I have mild allergies to it). On the positive, for some, this is a very cannabis friendly area! I don't smoke, it's terrible for my health. And if you report the upstairs neighbors for smoking indoors, which is against the rules, they do NOTHING. Absolutely nothing. When I address issues in person, the property manager says "oh, that's not the norm here, it's not how things usually are..." How would someone who sits in an office all day know that? I live here. They only keep up appearances. I have no way of seeing who I contact above her. The payment website for rent is also sketchy. There's a rewards program that doesn't actually pay out anything. You get two bills; you won't know your utilities until after the rent is due. Transferring power was also an expensive hassle through Greystone. Great apartment. Trash neighborhood. Maybe screen the tenants more thoroughly. This place needs an overhaul.

You sign a lease that puts you at $875.00 a month and comes your third month and your rent is $975.00 and they say, "it's the new fees for water". I know that was not the case, so I pay $975.00, and for the next three months, my rent is now $1050.00. I still have not made it to my new year and my rent keeps going up. I did not get a chance to pay $875.00 a month as I agree to when I first moved in. Also, you are the exterminator, maintenance, and security. I so wish I never rented this place out. I would be living in a better place if I did not sign this lease With Brookview Apartments. If you move forward and sign their lease beware of getting bamboozled. Oh, one move thing if you are a single parent, the county of Douglas does not have or will help anyone that lives in Douglas county. Is means if you are needing rental assistants or utility assistants. you will not find it and the daycares are very expensive. The prices that are listed online are not the true price that you would pay. Just add on another $300.00 bucks and that is what you would pay. So if you move here Good Luck!!!!!!!!

She sent me a welcome letter, I wanted to clarify the "payment/monies due". She responded to me by saying, "did you read my email". strike one! i let her know I did but I already gave yall a certain amount of money, She goes and looks at something then apologizes because she didnt realize i already made half of the payment. Had she listened to her customer, all that could've been avoiding. People who write in the comments that she is an angel, obviously dont know when someone is being condescending, her hidden talent is that she can tell you to F*#^K Off with a smile on her face. I am currently locked out of the system they use to make payments on rent, I called and got Alana and immediately knew, i was not gonna get anywhere. I let her know that I cannot get through the conservice to pay my rent, I used it once but cant get back in... I called multiple times, the hold time has exceeded 45mins, EACH TIME She cuts me off says, " we have a new system, are you using that"... ARE YOU LISTENING TO YOUR CUSTOMER? I stated that I used it before. She is soooo thirsty to tell me , "I cant help you" she not even listening to the call. Long story short, She repeated her self 4 times, without letting me get in a sentence of what my concerns are. Then brushed me off to tell me to call them again. but if Im late on my rent, I bet yall have that information tho!! AS A CONSUMER, living on YOUR property; AS ASSISTANT MANAGER, you are supposed to assist your tenant, with making payments, even if it requires you to reach out to someone via email..THEN DO IT! there is NO WAY that this "rent paying" service is SO THIRD PARTY that you cant SPEAK TO ANYONE on behalf of YOUR TENANT. as a member of management, it is UNACCEPTABLE for the words "I cant help you" to leave your mouth. This place is supposed to be for the elderly. But it is not conducive for elderly. The fire alarm could go off at any time day or night and it wakes the whole community up and you have to leave your apartment and go outside rain, shine, sleet, or snow. Then after you go out 99% of the time they are false alarms. In my opinion it is just not worth living there. If you are on the waiting list, don't bother, you are setting yourself up for a big disappointment and it really is not worth it. Just some friendly advice. Please listen.
