After my dentist of 30+ years retired, I started looking for another option. His practice was sold to another group and the care was fine but the costs were very high. Medicare does not really pay for dental, even with the help of my supplemental insurance. I had tried a medicare recommended dentist initially when I retired but much preferred the dental procedures I was used to. Now that my old dentist is retired I wanted another option. So I made a visit to see Dr. Hamada to get a second opinion on what the original office thought I should do. He was great, and friendly and spent a lot of time with me explaining how his office does things. His prices were very reasonable compared to the other dental office. He uses some of the most current dental equipment I have ever seen. 3D color images of my teeth. He had to remove a 40-year-old silver crown on a back molar. His assistant Sabrina was in awe of it because they don't do that anymore. After the old crown was removed and the tooth made ready for a new crown it was completed in 20 minutes. No second trip for crown placement, no glop to mold my teeth-it was so high-tech and instant. Amazingly after the novocaine wore off my mouth was not sore. If you have any fear of a dentist go see Dr. Hamada. Added bonus is that there was laughter in the office. read more

Sad to say, after many years receiving great service, that has come to an end. Their Hygienist is amazing, patient and takes the time to explain. Everyone is nice, which is why the 2nd star. Originally even though I had moved 30 minutes away I still kept seeing them. The last visit after first shelter-in-place order was lifted was the deal-breaker. The visit was as normal, until the billing. I was told there was an extra charge due to Covid19 precautions they added -- what? Even though it was never mentioned - through email, text, or phone call confirming the appointment.. not once. I let the receptionist know but they said "oh they didn't? Sorry... but yeah there's a charge." IS THAT EVEN LEGAL? On top of that they charged me a co-pay, stating my insurance doesn't cover it... ummm... I was never charged a co-pay every visit with them and when I checked with my insurance after paying it was 100% covered. Came back from my new dentist - no co-pay. Also no added fees for Covid19 - in fact they told me that is not normal - why would you bill your patients extra to come back in middle of the pandemic? I hope the extra bucks made from me was worth it. read more

I did a lot of research looking for a dentist. I have a terrible anxiety for Dentist so after reviewing about 50 dentist I decided to make an appointment with Dr. Hamada. I had a very painful troth and he took a look at it and told me the crown had to come off and he had to fix a very deep cavity.. anxiety worsens a bit. From the time he injected my gums with Novacaine, there was absolutely no pain!! And again there was absolutely no pain during the fixing my cavity. If there was anyway to give him more than five stars I would. If you have anxiety of going to the dentist this dentist is your man. I can't say enough good things about him. My wife and I have been going to this dentist for a a few months now and I and my wife honestly have to say this is the best place we have been too. The staff is courteous and amazing. They always call and they even call when they don't have to to check if everything is ok with our latest visit. They are also very professional and knowledgeable. Let me start off by telling you that I've had my fair share of dental visits from dentists to pedodontist to orthodontist. All of which, I had very bad experiences with which has left me with a lot of skepticism. After my visit, I must say Dr. Hamada is one of very few DDS I had the pleasure of meeting with. Checking in was easy, and the office itself is beautiful. I was experiencing pain from my wisdom teeth growing in, so I went in for a x-ray. Dr. Hamada discussed the x-ray with me. Since my wisdom teeth were very close to my nerves, his office referred me to a great oral surgeon. He was very honest about my teeth which I greatly appreciated because no other dentist has ever told me the things I needed to hear. He also went over preventative methods so that I don't end up having to shell out hundreds of dollars in the future. Throughout our conversation, I felt as if I was talking to a long time friend. He was honest but made me feel comfortable. He was realistic and did not try to sugar coat anything. He took his time answering my questions and went into detail with his answers, which I appreciate more than anything. I felt that he genuinely cared about my health. How about NO star? Many years ago I went to see this dentist Hamada for a dental problem and It took him ten times to finish his work. For months I had to go back to his office for just one tooth. About three years later his work had to be fixed by my current dentist and the tooth is still good until today. It took my dentist 2 visits to get it done. Hamada was more interested in selling me a mouth guard than fixing my tooth or maybe he did try? Anyway, he's one of the worst dentists that I have ever had. Can't express how incredible this office is! I lost a crown last night at 9:15pm. Dr. Hamada saw me at 8:00am today and I am good as new! I am so appreciative that they were able to see me so quickly. I also see Andrew every 6 months for cleaning and he is the best hygienist I have ever been to.
