I went to Dr Eddie Rojo when some of my filling fell off and there's a huge hole in my tooth. After initial exam he said I might need a root canal when cleaning out, as it was too close to the root and he'd give a referral for that. If not, it needs a crown. On the day of the procedure, Dr Rojo immediately put me at ease, was very gentle, explained each step before he does it, and he told me he'd take time to do it slowly so as to avoid heat on the tooth. He took the time to do it properly and there was no need to do a root canal! Price might be a little higher but then if you have to choose quality, I'd highly recommend him. The staff is also very nice and the clean surroundings are definitely a plus. read more

10 Stars !!!!! Going to see the dentist was the last thing I wanted to do. But there's a situation and I had to. Urgently! I had to find one I could make an appointment within 1 week, and someone I could trust. I searched online, asked around with friends, contacted dentists in my area, couldn't find the right one for me. Then I found Dr. Rojo's Evergreen Dental Art. Directions showed it took 1hr+ drive... it was a bit challenging for me but somehow very encouraging for me to contact his office. Trang the patient coordinator was wonderful. She responded me on the day office was closed and told me they had an opening for me due to a cancellation! Dr. Rojo explained to me clearly and thoroughly what's going on with my teeth and what needs/should be done. I knew it would cost me a chunk of money... and I felt so bad about not taking care of my teeth as I should. But by receiving treatment from him, I started to feel everything was all worthwhile. I came in with a large amount of pain on my left molar. I could not bite or chew meals that I love to eat. I was devastated and I could not find a dentist to fix my problem; which was a partial filling that was previously made by another dentist and the filling material was cracking and causing a huge painful gap between my molars. With in minutes of my arrival to my appointment, Dr. Rojo immediately got to work on my broken filling and gap. He made my dental appointment an experience I will never forget. Dr. Rojo gently place my gums under anesthesia to sedate my pain. (8 of 10 in pain scale) I remember Dr. Rojo explaining to me and his assistant the steps needed to fix my tooth and how long it was going to take to do it. Just like he said it was going to happen it did and more. He explored the idea of making a custom crown for my molar; instead of refilling it with more filling material. He was absolutely smart for coming up with the idea of making a custom crown for me. The results were magnificent! He took my measurement, tweaked couple corners in the designing phase of my crown and made it right there and in his office. I was amazed with Dr. Rojo's ingenuity, devotion, compassion and most important the love he has for dental health of his patients. He personally will take care all your dental needs. Going to the dentist use to scare the living daylight out of me, for that reason I postponed my annual dental cleaning for 5 years! My excuse was that I couldn't find a dentist I liked, Which was partially true. That of course was the wrong thing to do and eventually I couldn't postpone it any longer. After moving back to the Bay Area my priority was finding a dentist because my gums were hurting and I had to do something about it before it got worse. I came across Evergreen Dental Arts and saw the positive reviews. I figured I would give it a try based on their technology and the positive results from other clients. I must say I was thoroughly impressed by their customer service starting with their receptionist/ office manager, hygienist and last but not least Dr. Rojo. I felt so comfortable and not ashamed ( which I was ) for the improper upkeep . They went at a pace where I felt comfortable relaxed and confident. They were not pushy and they walked me through the whole process so that I understood . The Evergreen dental team has changed my mind and feeling about the dentist. I never understood why some would say they love the dentist. Now I do! I still don't want to go back All the time but Lol but now For the first time ever I don't mind the dentist . Had a great experience today. Dr. Rojo unlike other dentists has a soft hand and I wasn't subjected to unnecessary poking and scraping. This review is for the office operation. I was referred to this office through my brother who's been a loyal patient for over 2years. During my first visit, I called the office and provided my insurance information. Upon checking my insurance, the office confirmed that they accept my insurance. During the day of my exam, the office did my oral exam and recommended a full mouth debridement done. The office highlight the cost associated with the work and told me what my insurance would pay and what my expected out of pocket will be. I assumed that they had already checked with my insurance when presenting me the cost so I agreed to proceed with the work. As it turned out, when the office file the claim, my insurance denied them and the cost of the work becomes my responsibilities. When I talked to the office, I was told that the office would file an appeal with my insurance and worse case, they can write it off. I tried to call the office to resolve the issue and left messages. The office didn't even call me back with any update. This went on for weeks where I had to call the office multiple times before they returned my call. I even tried to help with the appeal by calling my own insurance. However my insurance told me that the office should have check and confirmed that the work is cover before proceeding and shouldn't assume that it's cover. At this point I was tired of this nonsense and ended up splitting the cost 50/50 with their office. The issue I have is not the cost of the work, but the office itself not doing their full due diligence before presenting cost to their patients. I'm definitely not going back to this place in the future and will be taking my business elsewhere. For those who wants to come here, make sure the office check your insurance fully before doing any work so you won't be surprise with any charge.
