Let's begin with Hamden's mayor, MAYOR CURT (Curt the dirt) is an utter DISGRACE to our town. For the past few years, this man has repeatedly demonstrated to not possess any desirable quality one might expect in a leader. Unfortunately, qualities such as honesty, decency, trustworthiness, sense of fairness/justice and accountability/transparency amongst others have no meaning to our dear leader. Moreover, it has also become evident to voters that basic arithmetic was probably never our mayor's cup of tea. Hence, Hamden's credit rating at its worst, ever, even lower than Hartford, much much lower. Yet, our fearless mayor borrows more to assure the waterparks in the ghettos don't run dry and we enjoy multi-million dollar fireworks on the 4th. of July, even if you have to cut public library hours for lavish concerts on town green where mayor collects accolades followed by the votes by the busloads.
Next, we can briefly examine the Hamden Police Department. The Hamden Police Department remains one of the most racist, corrupt, incompetent, and often downright thuggish law enforcement agencies in the state. Buyer Beware! That's it. Moving along.
Perhaps you are considering Hamden for its schools? Well... Hamden's education system rivals schools in some of the worst ghettos across the country, hence thriving private schools in Hamden. If you are a parent of a minor and considering Hamden public schools then please do your homework beforehand. My advice, follow in the footsteps of big businesses like Amazon and go to North Haven.
For those who might be considering employment with Hamden, Hamden Government Center is manned at every level by imbecilic drones especially Human Resources where it appears that Pay-to-Play is the accepted practice and tradition? Further, lowly Jobs, such as Public Works, are handed out based on the hereditary system like the royalty but of crap, quite literally, either you are in or not. I would know, I'm in. Your qualifications mean absolutely nothing here!
Finally, we come to Hamden's infamous Building Department. If you wanna buy a house in Hamden and renovate it or make additions to it then go and visit with Jimmy, Billy, Tommy, Mikey, Willy, Rooster Cockburn, Archie Bunker, etc. at the Building Department. However, be mindful that the Hamden Building Department is ruled by demigods where even the angels fear to tread. One word sums up this bunch perfectly - DEGENERATES. If you want anything done from this dept. then might I suggest a swift kick (verbal, not physical) in the bum to get these cartoon characters w/monumental egos moving? Unless you put them in their proper place (public urinal) they won't move a muscle let alone wake up and pay attention to your request.
In conclusion, at present, Hamden is infected with a cancer-like disease called corruption, from the very top, Mayor, to the very bottom of the barrel trash known as the Public Works (no education needed here), the vast majority are corrupt, lazy, and inept through-and-through.
Mayor Curt-bag, please pack your family and fudge and ride off into the sunset. I don't know who manages your finances at home but we, the Hamden residents, simply can't afford your imbecilic budget management. Please Curtbag, I beg of you to just get lost from Hamden.
