The worst car wash I've ever been to. First time will be my last time. The front of my car and the rear of my car was almost completely untouched. My back window was only clean where my windshield wiper had swiped. My side mirrors were worse than when I arrived due to all of the water spotting. The drying of process left water spots all over the entire car so within seconds those spots turned into white rings all over my car and front windshield making it difficult to see through. The pre-rinse was almost non-existent and the amount of suds that hit my car was just as bad. Rollers and brushes missing huge sections of my car. Again the worst car wash I've ever been to ABC's it will be my last visit... Jan. 4th 2026 great weather day between icy and salt covered roads to have your car cleaned, it would have been nice if my car looked as if it were cleaned. There should be a zero rating. read more

Got my car washed, they let me keep my windows down so I didn't have to shower that day, the soap caused a lil itching but I feel so much cleaner, only issue I had was some mechanical arm came through the window & slaped me with a soapy sponge. Great place for a shower & car wash. read more

50 years as a family business at this and a second location in Windsor,NJ, and a new product NEOGLIDE that is no where explained in house, nor clearly on the Yelp site; one is left with the impression that good communicators they are not. I have used this car wash in the distant past, but not much has changed in the concept and execution. Still a drop off at the entrance to the assembly line, and watching your car move along a conveyor chain through the rinse, wash, rinse, wax and blow dry sequence. Of course, the wipe down after completion is critical, and there are half dozen men with towels drying the sheet metal/plastic on the outside and spraying the internal windows and dash to semi remove what a quick wipe can access. Always incomplete and inaccurate as the bulky towels cannot reach the smaller recesses where most dirt and dust collects. So, at best the finished product is somewhat haphazard. At least, to the quick glance the vehicle appears clean and shiny, even if on closer examination it doesn't hold up. For $20 for a wash, wax and buff, you would hope for a little more competence and pride in workmanship. I guess that is too much to expect. read more

I see a lot of bad reviews, but my experience was pretty good. I noticed a lot of people saying it's always busy and it seemed like the work was rushed, but during my visit there was only one car ahead of me. The wash itself was very good and I noticed they washed my mats off which I've never seen any other car wash do before. Only bad thing I noticed was there was some cleaning liquid droplets on my seats but after an hour it was all dried up and looked like nothing was there. No complaints for me, but I'm sure if it were busy I might not have gotten the same result and that's to be expected with a rush you won't be able to do the best job. read more

Paid $20 for the #1 which should include everything in their package. The wash was quick and the checkout was easy, but I was very unimpressed with the vacuuming. There is still a lot of dust and hair in my car after the service. read more

(I posted a few weeks ago, but for some reason, it was either taken down or never stuck, so I'm trying again.) My gripe isn't with the Neoglide service, which I feel is more than adequate, but rather with one of the staff, the skinny dude with sunglasses who fetches the cars and supervises those who wipe down the vehicles. He's rude. He may not realize it, but he is. On my last visit, he referred to me as "sweetheart". That's not too bad a thing to be called, I guess, but as a customer, I believe I deserve the respect that any customer should receive. A cocky remark like "sweetheart", in the context of a business (from an older man to a young woman), is inappropriate. Again, I'm fine with the service and would like to keep using it, but if I visit again, I think I'll bring my boyfriend along, just to see how it goes. (Maybe I'll have my camera ready, too, to catch anything that's out of line.) read more

"Free car washes for life" with purchase of car @ Hamilton Honda - completely worthless "benefit" since this car wash is closed for maintenance far more than it's open. When the wash is occasionally open, it's a step up from a rinse that requires a thorough hand-drying after the car has gone through a complete wash (including dry cycle). Go elsewhere to wash your car - this one's not worth your money or time read more

On Sunday, Aug 14, 2022, at around 10:45, I was displeased with my experience with Hamilton Car Wash. I paid for full service and expected my car's interior to be cleaned appropriately. Instead, the carpets were not thoroughly vacuumed, leaving coffee stains on the dashboard and prominent stains on the doors. When I brought this up to the employees, one of them started cleaning it until their supervisor came and sent him to work on another car, leaving my vehicle undone. Afterward, the manager came to me and rudely, in an aggressive tone, informed me that "they do the best they can and don't do detailing." Before continuing my dialog, I told this "manager" there was no reason to be rude and to have this tone with me. The manager just walked away, not letting me say voice my concerns. To my comment that I won't be coming back, he said, "don't come back." I never understand why people are in customer service when they have no business in it. If an individual doesn't know how to communicate with people, I feel they shouldn't be there. Due to my military service, I've had the car serviced in many different states and haven't had this poor quality of service and such a lack of customer service. It seems the focus of his business is quantity vs. quality. If the customer is unhappy, then it's the customer's problem. I highly do not recommend this business. Operating since 1967 and having over 50 years of experience doesn't mean a thing. Perhaps business was better 50 years ago, but now future customers seek your business elsewhere. read more

A lot of Yelp hate for this place it seems! I can only speak for myself, and I've never had any sort of problem. Took the wife's SUV in today because it had been on a family road trip with two pre-schoolers recently. The interior (at least the back seat) matched the interior, which was not so fresh. I went with the full service (Option 1), with comes with interior vacuuming, windows and wiping down/light cleaning of the dashboard as well as hot wax with the exterior wash. The whole thing clocks in $18 including tax. The machine was is generally pretty thorough, and has always taken out all but the nastiest of grime in my trips. As the car comes off the line, it is pulled out near the exit where a small army (okay, between 3-5 people) decend on the vehicle and give it a fairly thorough interior wipe down and exterior hand dry. Hand the guys your receipt when they call you over and you're on your way. An earlier reviewer said that this is really a basic wash, if you're looking for that TLC in your wash, do it yourself or go to a specialist. I'm inclined to agree. For $18, they really do a pretty good job of taking care of the interior and exterior while still keeping the line moving along (it can reach out in two lanes all the way to 33 on nice weekends). They interior guys do seem to give things a slightly more thorough cleaning during the week when it is slower, but even when it's just I've always felt I was at least getting what I paid for. read more

i got there a few minutes before they opened today. since we now have to bring our own bags when shopping i had a bunch of mine inside a zipped bag. i zipped it and put on the back seat. car was done and i headed shopping. when i reaches back for the bag it was unzipped and bags were rearranged inside. someone had gone through my bags. i called the office to complain saying " what if there was something of value in the bag"? not sure i'll go back there. can't trust them inside the car. read more

Took my car here that I had for 15 days. When I got home I notice white markings all over my car. Needless to say I had Knicks all over my car. Looks like my cars was washed with rocks. My whole car needs to be panted and a need windshield. We will see what happens tomorrow when i take my car back for them to look at it. Ppl save your car! I was in town (home town) for the funeral of my sister. On my way out, I stopped to get my car wash at this car wash (Hamilton). I had made a stop at the ATM to get $20 for tolls and placed it in a hidden compartment under the dash where I always place change. As I was driving down RT33, I saw the place and decided to get the car cleaned before I got on the highway. When I arrived at the Delaware-Memorial Bridge and opened the hidden compartment to pay my toll, my money was gone! They HAD STOLEN my Toll Money!!!! I was furious! I won't use this business again and I'm telling everyone I know NOT to GO THERE! How UNETHICAL! When I made it home, I noticed they did not clean my car well at all either! read more

Generally stick to what I know but i work in Hamilton and needed a wash, interior more then exterior. I ended up getting the first package and mentioned that I needed both mats washed (front and back) and confirmed the spots inside my car that needed to be cleaned. (I have a booster seat in the back). After being handed back my vehicle, the cracks next to the seat when you sit down we're still as dirty as before and the entire back seat was not vacuumed and noticed the booster seat wasn't moved and was just vacuumed around. Still a great car wash! I don't know of another car wash on the East Coast where the entire staff works so hard in all kinds of weather and continues to do great work. Hey, it's not a $250 detail, it's a fast and easy but high quality wash, vacuum, dust dash and glass clean. Btw had the Full Service with Wax on Saturday, it rained all day Sunday and Monday morning when I went out to get in the car I noticed how much the water was just beading up on all surfaces. I bought my new car in November 2015. I've only washed it a couple of times since then, and both those times I hand washed it. Due to the recent snow/salt, I decided to visit Hamilton Car Wash to get a quick wash until I could properly wash it. I chose Hamilton Car Wash based on some better reviews both on Yelp and Google. I saw the negative reviews, but thought while unfortunate that won't happen to me. I was wrong. What was supposed to be a $16 wash is now going to cost me $450 (quoted by Safelite Glass Repair). Their car wash left a 2-foot scratch on my windshield. I am going to contact the owner tomorrow, although based on some of the previous reviews, I doubt anything will come of it. I will never use this car wash again, and I urge other consumers (especially those with new cars) to hand wash their vehicles. read more

Under normal circumstances, I do not send out emails or make comments concerning service I've received from a business, so the service must be egregious for me to be writing this email. Today August 6th 2021 at approx 1pm or so, I decided to get my car washed at Hamilton Car Wash. After requesting a #1 wash, one of the employees took my vehicle and accelerated so fast that the underside of my vehicle struck the conveyor belt system that is used to pull the cars through the wash. I was about to enter the building to pay when the loud bang of my car's undercarriage striking the ground and the conveyor belt system caused me to turn around. I asked the attendant why he would drive my car so fast as to cause potential damage to my vehicle and he gave an incoherent response. I went into the building and asked to speak to a manager. After my car came out of the wash, I inspected my vehicle and noticed a scuff on the right underside of my bumper. Both "managers" claimed this damage was not done by them. There was no empathy or concern offered by either "manager", all that was given was denial. After driving off, I then noticed that my interior passenger windows were not cleaned. My daughter fell asleep in my car and her hair pressed against my window leaving a smear of hair car products, and after leaving the car wash and paying for interior windows to be cleaned, the smear is still there. I don't know of a circumstance that would get me to use this car wash again. The service was poor, the management was even poorer, and to top it all off, they don't offer discounts to veterans. I make it a point to never patronize any business that is unwilling to offer discounts to veterans. Anyone, particularly veterans that reads this review, steer clear of this place. read more

I found this business to be just passing as a place to get a quick wash. If your car is really dirty, or you're looking for a well-done job, avoid Hamilton Car Wash because you'll be disappointed. I got the "A" plan, but most of my interior had to be wiped down again when they told me it was done. Door jams, seats, dashboard, door panels, still had dust all over. They also sprayed water on the ceiling of my car, by the tops of the windows. I had to pat the spots dry. If you do decided to use this business, I would recommend getting the least expensive package because they do the same thing to your car anyway. Make sure to inspect it careful before you leave. They give no real attention to detail, rather a quick in-and-out wash is what you'll get. If you want your car washed well, this is not the place to go. read more

Been a customer for over 30 years. The last couple of visits I was treated like garbage by the individual who sprays the windshield at the entry to the car wash. He actually sprayed me with the window cleaner when I exited my car. The man was loud, rude and screaming in my ear about my wipers. This place is your typical drive-thru car wash. If you want a quick wash that gets most of the gunk and grime off your car, then you're good to go here. If you want a finely detailed job done with TLC, then you're better off doing it yourself. The prices seem reasonable, and there can be huge lines all the way out on to Rte. 33 in the mornings during Summer weekends. Just had a really great experience here! Got the full service car wash and they really took the time to make sure the interior was clean (I have two huge long-haired pups so that is an undertaking.) There must have been some misunderstanding about the all-weather mats in my car and they thought I said not to wash them. They double checked with me when I went to get in the car and then took all the mats out, washed them and put them back. My car looks great! Really impressed! 5-Stars! read more

They always do a good job here and always busy on nice days. They keep people moving through (cars, that is). They use the Neoglide technology and now have a loyalty wash program (free) which allows you to get a free car wash if you get 7 washes within 4 months. From just an exterior wash to full service including undercarriage, tires and full wax. A team greets your car after you it leaves the trolley and performs a full towel dry and interior cleaning (if part of full service). You can't stay in the car in this car wash. Average wash.. I have a 2015 Dodge Challenger. If these guys see you have a halfway decent car they will do their best to destroy it. Every time after it's on the lift they put the car in neutral and I assume that's there time to have fun. They slam on the gas 100% of the time for no reason. I specifically told them please don't rev the car. As soon as "they thought" I walked away , I hear the car start screaming. I spoke to the manager and he said okay I'll let them know. Let them know what? I just told them to not rev my car and they did it anyway. I won't be back. Just tired of working hard for something, for somebody else to destroy it. I used to come here all the time as they did a decent job but my most recent visit has changed my mind. I got a brand new car and it was damaged here. I left with scratches all over the top of my hood (see picture). I went back 10 minutes later and told one of the workers what happened and that I was upset and he threw his arms up and told me he can't help me. A manager came out and diffused the situation and offered to wax my car. They did and some of the scratches came out but not all. I called and spoke to the other Manager who is also the owner and was very abrupt and quick to blame the dealer even though this was my first car wash with the new car. He claimed the dealers hide these marks. He was very loud and blamed everyone but the car wash and made me uncomfortable to come back even though he offered for a second time to try to fix the problem. I went to my dealer today and they removed what they could but there are scratches under the top coat. My suggestion is to find a new car wash or do it yourself which I now plan to do. read more

This place has a great car wash but poor management and unskilled workers. After so many years of loyalty I'm giving this place up. Now twice they've damaged or bumped my car while getting it on the conveyer belt. I witnessed it yet the owner denies it and concluded that if there's no damage there wasn't any failure and expected me to pay for my wash! What decent establishment does that? He wasn't even present! These are expensive vehicles we're bringing and it's in their care and this is what I get? No more! No matter how clean they get the car .. I have been using this carwash for years. There was always a few areas they missed or did a half ass job on but it was close and convienient. I bought a new XTerra took it in and after drying I discovered a deep scratch and several light scratches. When I ibformed them they treated me like I was lying and trying to rip them off. A little respect would have give a long way in that situation. This is the first review and most likely the last I will ever write but I am just a little pissed. read more

I recently brought my brand new BMW 3 series here because the local dealership had closed for the day and I needed the car cleaned quick. All looked nice and fine, although a piece of tape was stuck to the back of my car when it came out... I thought that was weird. They even vacuumed and cleaned the inside. I tipped the guys $3 so total came out to $16. As soon as I return home, I find that the back of my car is scratched. A very noticeable black mark is on the back of my rear bumper. When I return to the wash to inform them of this, they are already closed but some of the employees are still there. A gentleman named "Angel" completely disregards my complaint to them and tells me to comeback tomorrow at 8AM to discuss with the owners. We'll see how that goes. I am very unhappy right now and would not recommend this place to anyone... if you do get your car washed, you better check it for scratches and marks as Jon Q. previously mentioned. read more

Absolutely hate this place. Have not gone there in a year or so because it was terrible the last five years. Every single cup holder was filthy when I got in the car the handle on the door with sticky. They were literally still comes from the kids right by the seats. I always pay for the highest package and think they just take your money and do absolutely nothing to your car. The only thing that is clean when you come out of there is the outside! I have even taken a ride myself to finish cleaning the inside of the car and they do not even offer to come look. Do not recommend paying for them to do anything inside your car!! read more

This place stinks. Used to be good but has been slowly going downhill for years. Prior to the wash they will duct tape your rear windshield wiper to your car and put the tape right on the paint! I asked them nicely not to do that and they gave me a huge attitude. I complained to the mgr and he seemed like he could care less. This has happened the last three times I've been to this place.
