I need to alert everyone here: Express Car Wash on rt 1N should be shunned if you want your car intact. Their brushes scratched the hood of my new car and when I went to tell him he was so hostime.he also confessed 4 more customers had filed the same complaint but he was adamant it wasn't his fault. I've never taken my car elsewhere and scratched on hood are consistent with brush placement. Do what you want with this though read more

The wash is fine, it just takes FOREVER to get checked in. They sell the monthly membership when you pull up to pay. There was a lady at the kiosk today that had cars backed up almost to the entrance. Unnecessarily delayed everyone. Do better read more

I've been going to this place for a while. They have raise their prices. It used to be five bucks but I think inflation has hit us all. I usually just go for the no-frills wash. Then I go and wipe down my car. Their vacuums work really really well. Never had a problem with them. They have enough vacuum so that I've never had to wait for a spot. Overall if you have the right expectations then this place is not so bad. If you're looking for your car to be detailed then you might be disappointed. If you have caked on dirt or salt then you might have to go through the washer a couple of times. read more

i'm not sure what expected from a $17 "super wash" and interior cleaning, but i at minimum expected my car to be clean-ish. this wash didn't even come close. i would've done better myself, but i was in a rush to get the car looking nice before it's lease-end inspection. i went with a full-service package, which range from $17 - $26ish, and include an interior-clean by a team of employees after the tunnel wash. the wash itself is upgraded on these full-service packages as well, so i'd expect better than the standard $5 drive-thru-tunnel cursory wash. nope. please refer to my attached photos... the interior of my car is still dusty from being untouched- i'm not talking hard to reach places either, i mean like the steering wheel column and dash. the exterior is horrific as well. behind the doorhandles it's filthy. the bumper is filthy. let's not even talk about the door jambs or the bottoms of the doors. water spots and dirty all over. the rims- also still dirty. see a pattern here? i don't even know how it's possible to call this a wash- the rain could've done just as good of a job, for free. only plus to this joint, if i had to find one... use of the vacuums is included with a wash. bottom line: pay $5 for a ride through the tunnel, then you can clean the inside to your own liking. don't bother paying more for any "upgraded" services- they're NOT at all worth it. what a waste of $$. read more

Just got back from this new car wash and let me tell you, it is as good as it gets! I am very particular about who washes my truck and they passed the test. When you drive up everything is automated and very easy to select your wash. The equipment is brand new and looks and runs perfect. The water jets during the wash are very powerful and really clean the roof of your car well (unlike other washes). At the end of the wash, the dryers dry your vehicle perfect and they even have soft buffing wheels at the end that puts a nice shine on the car. The staff is exceptional and the two owners are there working the vac and interior cleaning at the end. They introduced themselves and make you feel very welcome. The staff that cleans the inside of your car really take their time and get in every last corner of your vehicle. Prices are very competitive and most times much cheaper that Major Car Wash down the road. Much rather use this wash and will be a frequent customer. A+ read more

I love $3 car washes. They take just a couple of minutes and the difference here is that the machines actually get my front grille/bumper as well as the back bumper which after driving around the salted streets of NJ can get very dirty very fast. At the end of the wash, the machine coats your entire windshield with RainX which helps a lot with visibility during times of heavy rain. It's even free to use the vacuum afterwards! If I tried to do this all on my own, it would take me well over an hour. I was out of here in less than 10 minutes and my car looked brand new. All this for only $3. The manager of the place also could not have been nicer and more professional. I'm just disappointed I didn't discover this place earlier because it's by far the best car wash I've ever been to. read more

The recent snowfall left my car looking like a hot mess. Wiper fluid froze on the windshield and I could hardly see through the milky film. Honestly, that was the reason I decided to get the car wash...I needed to see!! lol. After looking at the reviews and seeing that their cheapest car wash price was $3, I made the short trip over. I ended up upgrading to the next level which was $7. The automated car wash payment system is easy to use...and afterwards I drove up to take advantage of the free use of vacuum hose. I park my car and soon enough, a nice man walks over with the hose, attaches it and I get to work. When everything was done, I felt like a proud papa in awe of my clean, shiny car. read more

For the price you think this is going to be a okay but not all that good service. You are sadly mistaken. I love this place the price it right but my car actually gets clean and shiny with their machines. They also have a option to have them clean the inside or you can use the unlimited free vacuums that are part of your cheap bill. East pay machines To get you in and out. The car wash is average at best. I went in and got the $15 "The works wash" which claims that you get cleanest wheels. Yeah right! The overall wash is OK, but it doesn't wash mirrors or wheels well. They do not touch your car after you leave the dryer. They don't wipe down door jams or check to make sure that the whole car got a good wash. read more

Really nice place and wash. Teeny bit expensive for interior clean too at $28 but they work hard to make it worth it - clean the cup holders! Also cool versus other places is you stay in the car for the motorized wash - my kids love that and it brings back cool childhood memories. read more

Very nice service and friendly staff! And the price is good too. I stupid friend of mine left some of his "stain" on my seat cover (you know what im saying), and I want to clean it thoroughly. Called another car wash first and they kept telling me to put it in the washing machine. (you think that didnt come into my mind?). Then another one kept telling me they can't accept appointment unless they see it. Lastly saw the this one online with good review and had a try. My seat cover got steam cleaned immediately. Staff is RUDE. I've been here several times because of convenient location but I won't be going back. On my most recent trip, they were very busy because of snow and salty roads. The wait was long and I guess they were tired, but they acted like they were doing me a favor by allowing me to use their car wash! I'm surprised at other reviewers saying they were nice, because that was not my experience at all. There are other car washes that I pass in my daily activities and I will be giving some of them a try instead. Being rude to customers is just completely unacceptable. Additional Comments: At first I couldn't figure out why my experience was so bad compared to the 5 star ratings given by others. Then I realized they have a whole bunch of bad ratings under "Reviews Not Recommended". The overall rating based on those reviews is much lower - check it out. Overpriced but the car was is above average compared to other in the area. The free vacuums is what makes up for the quality.

My last experience was really insulting. Their machine cleaning is only work on 60% of the car. Took their exterior service package which didn't clean my car. They promise "Towel Dry" which 2 guys just standing outside will do in 10-15 seconds (imagine quality of service). When I asked to properly dry out the car from the door panel where lot of water and soap enters while washing through machine, they refuse to do that. I asked them to properly dry from outside and they refuse to do that. They refuse the service which I paid. When I raised my concern to manager (fat guy), He was rude, he shouted and insulted and asked me to leave. I was under the impression that manager will at least care of "Customer Service" but disappointed with overall experience. Never returning this place. read more

This place did a good job cleaning my car. $7 for an outside + undercarriage wash is a pretty good deal. I like that you can wipe the car down yourself so you can use your own towels. Free vacuums to clean your interior as well. And if I don't need the undercarriage wash I can just pay $3. read more
