Pulling into the parking lot, it looked like they might be closed since there were only two cars in the parking lot. Once inside, I discovered a side entrance that most people were using and additional parking in a side lot. They have a total of 24 lanes here. I found the whole place to be well lighted and more welcoming than some. Plus there was no blaring music interfering with my concentration. The price was four dollars a game on a Friday afternoon. The snack bar was closed but there were two vending machines for drinks and snacks. It was not crowded at all. A group of seniors was bowling in the middle of the lanes, and another group at the one end, and a few of us at the opposite end. There is an empty space between the lockers and the rental cashier counter station in the center that I understand will be a future arcade. I bowled my usual three games. The scoring system is okay but could be better. Anyone watching can see the stats, such as ball speed, pins left, etc., but by the time I get back to see the screen, that info is gone too quickly. The system at my home lanes, displays that info all the time and much more, such as top possible score and has a six digit code or a QR code to pair with an app on your phone to keep your scores and stats. The restrooms were nice and clean, plus well stocked. There is no T-Mobile signal inside this building and only two bars (part of the time) in their big parking lot. I like this bowling alley and would return to bowl again.

There is also a variety of food and drinks offered at the concession stand at affordable prices and they offer plenty of tables to relax or even host a birthday party. The rental skates are in great condition and also rent skate trainers on wheels to help build confidence for the younger skaters. Additionally, there are a few arcade games in the dining area that seem to be a hit with the kids while catching their breath from the skating area. They have a variety of hours and it's a cheap way to have hours of fun.

Great customer service...we called this morn for directions (because our navigation was having…read moretrouble finding the location) and Gwen answered and gave us SPECIFIC directions...we found it easily..when we pulled into space 55 we realised we were in an old parking lot..all cement..not happy..BUT..at that moment (Mike the Camp Host) drove by on his golf cart and I told him we weren't really happy with the setting..he took Bryan (my partner) in his cart to look at three other sites ..Bryan picked #21..we were PLEASED...Mike was quite accommodating..then we went to check out the rest rooms...clean ..very nice..well lit..I do like paper toweling and there wasn't any but that was ok..we're leaving early in the morn and sorry we can't get to the museum..the general facility looks quite interesting

We've taken our son to camps for a couple of summers and…read morethe rec league for one spring season, and we're planning on sticking with SCSA for future rec leagues as long as he's interested. The facilities are really well maintained, from the outdoor fields to the indoor facility - which gives kids a good option in inclement weather. (Certainly not comparable to the outdoor space, but gives some options for camps especially.) Really all of our "negative" experiences have been around weather, which you just can't control for an outdoor sport. We had quite a few rain-outs this last season and there are only 3 days of make-up games in the schedule -- but that was made clear up front and you have to understand they've got other things to plan in the future and can't just extend the schedule forever. But even in the weather delays, communication was crystal clear and they did everything they could to balance kids' safety with not overreacting (a thunderstorm at noon didn't affect a 5:30pm game - they waited until shortly before the game to make the right call based on conditions at game time.

This is a nice soccer complex that hosts youth soccer from ages 3 to 19. It was founded in 1980,…read moreand at 42 acres it is the areas largest privately owned and managed youth soccer club. They hosts camps, tournaments and little league practices and games here. It has two private parking lots (North and South) that fills up very quickly when there are large events or lots of practices going on. You will find an overflow parking lot across the street. It has 32 fields. But all are not the same size they have smaller fields that are designated for younger children. The fields are well marked and it is easy to find the filed that you looking for. There are no bleachers here, so be sure to bring your own chair if you plan to sit. There is also a snack bar, a shelter with picnic tables under it, some very nice rest rooms and an indoor facility. On busy days, you will find a few food trucks on site. The grounds are very well kept and the staff there is very friendly and helpful. There is no smoking, alcohol, or pets allowed at the complex. I like this complex. It seems to be well managed, looks great and my little one has a great time when he plays here.

THE best playground I have been to in a long time, and I have been to a lot of them. The playground…read morestructure is almost like a little town, which sounds strange but just wait until you see it. There are so many ramps and inclines and towers and bridges and forts and and and ... it's almost overwhelming. Just so much stuff! What else? There are slides galore, even a slide that is made out of small pipes that move as you slide. There are two of these! Monkey bars, balancing beams, swings, teeter totters, a climbing rock and much, much more. One of the neat things about this park is that it is built so that it's accessible for everyone. There are lots of ramps, so people in wheelchairs have an easy time enjoying the playground, too. There is a huge field here, which would be perfect for running around or flying a kite. There is also one short basketball hoop. Freedom Field Park is attached to an elementary school, so the playground is open to the public every day EXCEPT Monday through Friday from 10:30 to 1:30 when school is in session. Every other time, you can play 'til your heart's content.

Brown County Country Club (BC3) is nestled in the woods just a couple miles from downtown…read moreNashville, Indiana. I visited there on 11/7/15 for a friend's private event and I loved it! When you drive up, first you notice a massive amount of green land with trees bordering the property. There's a 100 acres of land, so there's plenty of green space. Down the drive, there's a parking lot next to their main building. There's space for 30-40 cars, at the very least. Walking into the building, if you look to your right at sunset (when we arrived), you'll catch a brilliant sunset past the trees. It's a wonderful time to be in nature! Once you walk down the path and into the venue, allow your eyes to soak up the cozy warmth of the wooden walls, bar, and floor. This is a lovely place! Right when you walk in there is a bar to the right and then space for around 4-5 round tables and some counters/long table space for food. Keep walking and you'll have three amazing bathrooms to your left. I know, right? How strange is it to be in love with a venue's bathrooms, but you'll know when you see it. The bathroom doors are set to slide open along the wall, and are all made of re-purposed wood from a Brown County auction (thanks to one of the owners' family members explaining this to me!). The bathroom interiors are all bright colors and nothing is gender specific. Also, it's eco-friendly! The sink water fills up the toilet tanks and there are dozens of white towels & a laundry basket. There's a larger gathering place that can fit around 7-8 round tables in the next room, and past this is a door leading to the outside. They allow bonfires, woohoo! Beautiful. Also, the land is so far away from Bloomington and Indianapolis, that there's no light pollution ruining the night sky. On a clear night, there are dozens of sparkling stars. Camping may even be allowed (it was at this event) and there's plenty of space. They have space for disc golf as well. Overall, I loved the place. I hope to attend future events at this venue. This is a family-owned property and it's the perfect addition to the Nashville/southern Indiana community!
