We are a bit on the over protective side, and we have a hard time trusting strangers with our kid, but the people at this location do not feel like strangers at all. The director at this location really has her act together. All the teachers are really nice and knowledgeable. They are always learning about something new in fun, age appropriate ways. There is always something fun going on. Our daughter LOVES going to "school" as she calls it. She has made tons of friends there. We have since added on Phonics to the cost of her tuition and she loves that, too. They made popsicles one day. They had a cute little Halloween party (no costumes though). They are going to have pajama day, crazy hair day, and a bunch of other fun things like that. They studied the science of dirt. One of the classrooms was growing some kind of plants. Every week has a new theme for what they study. Themes include things like dinosaurs, occupations, etc. They did a cute little recital in the winter and sang a snowflake song. We had a parent teacher conference where her teacher showed us all the things she has learned so far, what she is proficient with, what she is a little behind in, etc. Any time we have any concerns we can just pop in and talk to her teacher about it so we're all on the same page. It's been really great. We are glad we found this daycare. Our daughter loves it so much, that when she is too sick to go she stays home and plays "school." I feel good knowing that she is having a great time AND learning so much. I really feel like this is helping prepare her for real school. I feel like she is in a safe place, being cared for by very capable people who genuinely care. My only complaint so far is that the only actual credit cards they take are Discover, which is just weird. So I have to pay with my debit card. But at least they send me a handy email reminder every week saying my payment is due, with the link to go online and pay it. It's very convenient to pay online.

To begin, they had zero patience, way too many kids, absolutely no organization and are severely understaffed. (As of 5.5.2021) My son is very very sweet and highly academic and never caused real problems, but he is easily distracted and likes to run through open doors and has some funny habits. ALL OF WHICH I TOLD THEM MONTHS AGO WHEN HE STARTED THERE. IN DETAIL. He had been there since the beginning of the year and all of a sudden, one too many times of my boy getting away from his teachers, and he is KICKED OUT with 2 days notice to find another place. Let me give you some other negative examples of this place where they keep children alive. Every time we picked him up from there not one teacher greets us and nobody had ANY idea where he even was, and were irritated every time. My husband had to wander around for 15 minutes most days to find our son. One day I was thrown around between 3 different areas to find him, and he was nowhere. 3 different teachers, 'He's in the gym, oh no he's outside, oh wait, I thought I saw him in his classroom? ' I panic, bigtime. Not until I started screaming, 'Where the hell is my kid?????' Did they bother trying to locate him. 'Mr. Matt' especially was a young man who works there that I hope to never see again. He actually appears to now be a director there which scares me to death for the other kids. And I can say with my hand on my heart, that this man speaks and acts like he has had no experience with children WHATSOEVER. Unprofessional phone calls telling me about how 'I need to work on my kid sitting still during lunch, he's always running off and 'WE DON'T HAVE TIME TO CHASE HIM.' Mr. Matt treats you like customer service. On top of it, he was coming home with MISSPELLED ART PROJECTS. They gave us absolutely no time to find another daycare, (kicked him out on a Wed., gave us until Fri.) and said word for word, 'We never like to have to do this.....' which leads me to believe they axe kids all the time. DO NOT take your child here if they require ANY attention. They herd them like cattle and the big beautiful space is simply just eye candy.

Since switching to Primrose she has had a total change in her attitude- she is much happier during the week, often talks about her activities at daycare, and no longer gets upset when it's time to go to daycare. The teachers all seem kind and well trained, and consistently use age appropriate language and positive reinforcement (that was a major issue at her previous daycare- I often heard raised voices and negative tones when I was coming in for pick up). There's a mixture of guided activities and self directed play, and all the kids seem engaged. They have an on-site kitchen and my daughter, who is normally a picky eater, enjoys all of the food. The hours are great and the prices are very reasonable for the area. We feel good about the care and education our daughter gets here which is such a relief as a parent. Overall I would definitely recommend this daycare!

There are so many things we enjoyed about our time there. The CDC has its own separate, secured entrance. The friendly office staff greets you and your child before letting you in through another secured door. The classrooms are large, inviting, and clean. The facility also has a child-friendly cafeteria, gymnasium, and giant outdoor play area with playground equipment, age-appropriate toys, and a seasonal garden. The part I loved most about St. Luke's were the learning experiences my child had in each of her classrooms. When my child started, as a post-Covid baby, she was not used to being around peers or following school routines. She also had a speech delay. The teachers at St. Luke's created a warm, inclusive, and positive learning environment that allowed her to be herself and grow. They were open and willing to work with her speech therapist and frequently communicated outcomes with me. Their daily schedule included a healthy amount of age-appropriate learning balanced with play allowing her to develop academic skills and make friends. The icing on the cake were the musical, art, and sports opportunities she was able to participate in. I'm happy to report that my child no longer has a speech delay and is more than ready to start school in the fall. I highly recommend St. Luke's to anyone looking for a great place to support and develop your whole child and set them up for success in kindergarten.

The environment was such that he could be himself. They also do a great job of scheduling activities which allow the children to learn thru lessons as well as thru play. I'll also add that they handled the pandemic very well. They communicated the changes, reduced class sizes, required staff and parents to wear masks and provided sanitizer. I recommend anyone looking for a great daycare to consider St. Luke.

I was thrilled to see that the Zipline and trampolines were still here, and it was fun to see a small space toward the back for the "imaginative play" w dress up options, a play house, kitchen, etc. They've also added a large outdoor play set to the main area, and it seemed to be a big hit with the crowd present during our visit. Personally, I had some challenges trying to figure out when their open play hours are and where they are posted. I still don't actually know, another person in our group figured that out I'm hoping they will either make that a fixture on their own website, or at least have a pinned post on their Facebook page or something easy to access! I will say that the cafe side of things is pretty lacking - I'm not sure if there are still additions to come, but currently your food and drink options are free drip coffee from gas station-esque machine, or some snacks from a vending machine. The price of entry is about what you will pay at a couple of the other comparable play gyms in town, but in my opinion, the other spaces are nicer, more modern, more relaxing for the parents, have greater options and clearer communication about open play.
