I was away from home (NJ) and visiting MA when I had a "flare up" of ongoing back issues that are typically prevented with my regular, local chiropractic care. Unfortunately, I had neglected my routine care in NJ for two months, and once I reach MA for a week's vacation, I found myself in trouble. Dr. Jerry has helped me so much with my back and neck! I am a licensed massage therapist and I started to have a lot of migraines and tension in my posterior neck. Turns out after some x-rays ordered by Dr. Jerry that I had little curvature of my cervical spine. OH and a irritated SI joint to add onto it ( my low back ). I go twice a month to see him and I always know it's time when my neck starts to feel TIGHT. I get massages as well in between treatments. I really love seeing him! He is the best! I am a multi-sport, relatively high impact athlete who has never had any significant back problems. Recently, I was stopped completely in my tracks by what started as a nuisance of back pain on my right side. It quickly worsened to the point that I couldn't take a full breath or walk without serious discomfort. I had to stop climbing, running, surfing, or even sleeping well. Some friends highly recommended I see Dr. Jerry Gould when I woke up one day with horrible back pain. I had been in pain for a few hours every morning for a couple weeks until I made the call to see him. He had me come in for adjustments twice a week for a 3 or4 weeks, and do some exercises at home. I'm pain free now and just come in rarely for adjustments when needed. I'm so thankful I went to see him. The office has a really nice atmosphere; everyone there has been pleasant to work with. There's pretty much no waiting time, and my appointments are less than 10 minutes. This was also the first time I had been to a chiropractor. I told him I was really nervous about having an adjustment, because I didn't know what they were. He helped me feel comfortable by using certain techniques and only doing a little the first couple visits.
