Best day spa in Calgary by far! I've been to some other…read moreones like RNR wellness and spa, Banff Fairmont and a couple other ones not even worth mentioning but this will now be my go to! Atmosphere: amazing, clean and modern. Has several different rooms like a cafe lounge to have your lunch. A serenity room which is a super cozy place to just lay back and read a book after your massage. A waiting room with amazing assortment of snacks such as mixed nuts, fresh fruit, cheese and crackers, homemade granola. They also have an espresso machine there. There are around 15 masseuse working the day I went because the place was very full in the waiting lounge which was a downside. They have a steam shower in the ladies room and a hot tub which I love! I wish there was also a coed one for me and my husband to meet up and hangout in but i can live without that. Don't even bother bringing your husband here this is the best place for YOU time. I did a whole 6 hour spa day here. Moisture drench body treatment - amazing! Fell asleep. A therapeutic massage Also great! A moisture drench facial - TOP NOTCH the girl had the best massage techniques I've seen. Seriously still water spa should sponsor meeeeee!!!! I can't say enough good things about it.

Jenifer was absolutely perfect masseuse. When we checked in we were asked to choose out " breakfast" on our itinerary it said breakfast i was expecting breakfast. But our choices were brunches and everything was spicy of some sorts srirachas Etc. My sister and I have stomach issues we can't eat any spice so we opted for a charcuterie board and we split it between the two of us. There was a lot of stuff on the charcuterie board but nothing you could possibly eat for a "breakfast" it was more of a brunch with no breakfast food. We left most of it behind as we couldn't eat that for breakfast as our first meal of the day. So we were out of our massages by 10:00 we were allowed to go into the hot tub but there was a sign that said you could only be in the hot tub for 15 minutes so there's 15 minutes taken up, but then we still had to wait till 11:30 for some food i don't know about you but as an older person I have to eat before that. So what do you do while waiting for any type of nourishment in a spa. We decided to ask for our meal sooner than later so that we could leave when the charcuterie board arrived we just looked at each other thinking there isn't anything we could possibly eat on here for breakfast. We ate the grapes and a couple of crackers and left the rest which for $58 for two Sparkling Waters and one charcuterie board that was very small i just didn't think it was worth the money. So I feel that if you're going to go to a spa get a great massage and possibly a meal that is deserving of a spa for that much money go somewhere else where your money goes further. The price of 175 for a massage and 58 dollars for food not edible for breakfast plus tips close to 500 for 2 ppl it wasn't worth it to me.

There is a diverse class offering with times throughout the day from morning to evening candlelight sessions. They are rated 1-4 for difficulty and have offerings including, bowl meditation, intro sessions, gentle styles, and hot yoga. The costs seem competitive and for newbies like me, there is an intro cost level that has been really appreciated. From there, you can buy sessions on a sliding scale or commit to a duration. Also for newbies like me, they rent mats. I didn't want to buy one in case I hated it. :-) The teachers that I've experienced seem knowledgeable, patient, keep an even pace and are attentive to assist you if you are lost in a pose or help modify if you are struggling. They allow for online sign up or drop in. Classes have varied greatly in terms of fullness, but I haven't seen one yet where everyone didn't all fit. There are 2 rooms and I noticed the bathroom has a shower if needed. The place is clean, the people warm and welcoming, although getting a hold of them can be a challenge. I tried calling with no answer and FB doesn't seem that active, taking a few days for someone to respond to me by messenger. Overall I'm extremely pleased with my experience and plan to make the most of it before my schedule ramps up. Definitely recommend!

While it's a great little studio, there is nothing beyond intro and restorative Yoga. I get it, it's a niche thing, but I can't pay over $100 per month for laying on a cold floor. I took a chance and went out to Cochrane for a class. I have now been to at least 6 in three weeks. The drive is 35 minutes each way, so it's a bit of a committment however, there was an intro $50 unlimited 1 month pass, so I took advantage of it rather than paying $18/drop in. (Yes, people in Alberta are nuts to pay this ...their teachers are nothing compared to the West Coast - just sayin'). I like that there is a hot room as well as a regular room. I haven't tried the regular room yet as I am used to, and love, heated classes. I have done Monday/Wednesday and Friday 930 am classes as well as some lunch classes. What I like is the Friday 930 am vinyasa - lots of variety, music and ability to work at all levels. Hatha classes bore the heck out of me, but in a pinch I'll go. I'm not fond of no music - and so far there is only 1 musical class I have attended. I am going to try the Cowboy class they list as well as an evening class taught by a male instructor on Mondays, with my nearly broken DH. We are also going to try bringing our 6 year old to a kids class next Saturday while we practice in tandem - great idea. All in all, it's a decent studio and I am considering buying a monthly pass. I wish they had more musical classes....they just let you get into a zone. They have showers and some things to dry / tie your hair up. It's also great to have a cold lemongrass facecloth at the end of the hot room classes - maybe the others too, but I've not heard. I will update if possible.
