His beard trim is more like a beard cut in that he's not just taking a razor with a guard and going over it once and calling it done. He is much more detailed than that. You can tell he cares about his craft and wants to be the best he can be. He is also willing to work with you when scheduling appointments as well if you're in a time crunch. One of the worst barbershop experiences I've had. I spent almost TWO HOURS at Machos getting my…read morehair and beard done, only for them to mess up my beard twice. The first barber messed it up badly enough that another barber had to step in and try to correct it. Then, while trying to fix the first mistake, the second barber made another mistake and left an obvious hole/patch in my beard. After sitting there for two hours, having two different barbers work on me, and still leaving with my beard messed up, I was extremely frustrated. When I asked them to fix it, they told me, "This is the best we can do." I even called the manager, and his response was that "everyone makes mistakes." Yes, everyone makes mistakes--but messing up twice, taking two hours of my time, and then acting like there's nothing more that can be done is not acceptable customer service. I walked in expecting a professional haircut and beard trim and walked out having to wait for my beard to grow back because of their mistakes. Definitely not the experience I paid for, and I will not be going back.
