Made an appt here at this location for a quick service before going on a trip. I had been to their Windermere location but for me, that location was just a little out of the way. The Winter Garden is easier so I thought I would give it a try. Location wise easy to get to right off 429, in the Hamlin area of Winter Garden. Service was exceptional. Sam was the host who greeted me and was great. As typical for H&N, offering a drink or anything else. My wait time was minimal if any. My service tech was Kylie who was amazing. She went over everything, which I must say was more than I had experienced in the past. Great experience could have fallen asleep it was so relaxing. The prices of the services are a little pricier but for what you get, I personally think it's worth it; you have to make the decision for yourself. Enjoy! read more

I received a gift card from my wife for Christmas and I was reluctant to use it for no specific reason. After my treatment, why have I waited. The highlight of my pedicure was my nail tech, Leann. Although I brought my AirPods, the conversation was so organic and easy--I thought about extending my visit and adding another service. In short, I will be purchasing a membership on my next visit! Today I visited Hammer & Nails at the Winter Garden Hamlin location and saw Toni for a Premium Manicure and Classic Facial. I'm currently on a nail journey to get my nails healthy and grown back out, and she did an amazing job shaping them and making them look great again. The hand massage felt incredible, and the facial was so relaxing it literally put me to sleep. Toni was professional, skilled, and made the whole experience enjoyable. I have been going to Hammer and Nails for for a few months now. Paul has been my barber since my first visit and I will go no where else to get my hair and beard done. Here's why: #1 Paul This dude knows his way around a razor and clippers. I came in sweaty, hair in a gnarly mess with a wild beard. I really didn't know what to do. Paul walked me through options, gave me thoughtful solutions and executed giving me an awesome hair cut and beard combo that not just myself but my wife suuuppppeerrr happy. Paul is a perfect balance of professional and fun. I have a great time, love the work he does and am grateful for being a client of his. #2 Vibe and rest of the Staff I feel relaxed walking into the place. Always greeted with a kind receptionist, offered a beverage, beer, mix drink, water you name it. All the staff are friendly, share great banter and feel happy to be there. Lillian did my eyebrow waxing and was so great with me as a first timer. Kind, patient and walked me through every step. Every time I have an appointment with Paul there is some other barber I also get to meet or also talk too. I really enjoy how laid back and good the experience is. #3 You get what you pay for - Quality and Experience This premium barber shop is on the pricier side but the price tag comes with the quality of service and expertise you get from all of the folks there. I no longer felt my cheap haircuts from Super Cuts were doing it for me any more. I am balding and needed to work with someone who knew hair and could give advice on what styles might work for my hair and head. Super happy to report that Paul knocked it out of the park. One call out: There is a 1 star review on here mentioning a $182 haircut which is a total exaggeration. Check the prices out online for yourself. Final note. If you a nervous first timer who has never paid more than $20 for a hair cut or a seasoned pro looking for your newest experienced barber, I think giving these folks at Hammer and Nails a chance is well worth your time and money. 100% recommend Paul if you get time with him. read more

I went here from their beginning and enjoy the staff but had so many inconsistent haircuts. The staff was polite but there is a high turnover. It was apparently difficult to get a consistent medium fade. After the fourth bad haircut and second disaster in a row from Nigel, I've decided it's time to go elsewhere. At $80 per month as a founding member, they stopped doing the neck shaves and face towel. Sad and inconsistent. read more

You know we will spray with water take a scissors out trim maybe a razor and tighten up the sides and do the back of the neck. You know a regular freaking haircut!! He did try to give me a good cut but did not listen to any of my directions at all and instead of asking me for clarification he gave the completely wrong haircut. I was sat in a chair for 1/2 for a Haircut that I did not ask for. would not recommend for someone with a complicated request and/or with complicated hair. Seems like a place for people with straight hair or for people who want a standard fade or taper. Not a place for complex styling at all. I didn't expect salon quality styling by no means, but this was just completely wrong. read more

This is not the place to go if your priority is a low cost budget haircut. This has a VIP feel to it and services that aren't readily available at the low cost budget barber.
