I asked and they responded with the name of the business again and then said you called us, who are you? I was taken aback but responded with "I'm a potential customer, and my name." Still no name as to who I was speaking to. As I was making the call for the gentleman I am doing the work and their is a language barrier as the homeowner doesn't speak good English I was told their would be a 400 fee just to apply online for someone to come look at the house. If I was the homeowner on the other hand it would have been free. I explained this and he said that's how it is. I am retired disabled Veteran and this man was just plain rude to me. He needs some customer service intervention skills and should not be answering phones.

We called them back once, when the project was only about 6 months old. They never corrected the issue and when more erosion occurred behind the wall again, I let it go until this year. We did the traditional method this time - filter barrier, stone and repack the top. Ironically, it cost 7K with LRE and 7K to repack it 3 years later. What ever foam they used has completely disolved when it was dug out or very little evidence foam was ever used. Do not waste you money and go the old tried and true method to repair your wall and just dig out.

He stated on the inspection report our HVAC system as a 2023 system like also listed on the MLS listing. We bought the house April 2024. A few weeks ago our outside unit failed. The AC company which came out to fix it found out that the outside unit is a 2016 and not as stated from Quigley as a 2023! The air handler is a 2023! Fact is we have to deal now with a failing outside compressor already which shouldn't be if Phil Tori from Quigley would have taken his duties seriously. But it looks like he only relied on the MLS listing instead of checking the label on the outside compressor. Instead of having a peace of mind for 10-12 years we have to deal with installing a new one already. Our house is 2200 SF and it needs a 5-ton-outside unit, which costs around 6-7k. Our real estate agent contacted them and told us, that the owner Tarin Quigley will call us which she never did. Though I called them. Wow what an experience. They get loud, don't let you speak out, cut you off when you want to say something and blame you to treat them badly! Tried to come up with excuses that it is already over a year since the four-point home inspection and therefore not under warranty anymore! Fact is, that Phil Tori neglected his duties as a home inspector and that the home inspection report is false! We signed something back then, which wasn't true and overlooked from Quigley Inspection Services. We wanted to get them to be responsible for that and the costs which we will face now. The only thing Tarin Quigley came up with was a refund of $650, the fee we paid for the inspection. Because she never let me speak out over the phone and always cut me off during the phone call I agreed then to the refund. The same day she sent me a release form first which we have to sign first to get a refund. This release form forbids us to make any bad reviews on any platform and more! I even don't know if that is legal? Now I know why their reviews are so good! My husband and I ditched the refund to be able to come here and to make an honest review, to warn other people. Don't go with Quigley Inspection Services. They are rude, unprofessional and they don't take responsibility! No even better Tarin Quigley wrote it was no wrong-doing!

We called out an AC / "Vent Cleaning" service who's tech "cleaned" the vent but spent the majority of the time trying to sell more services. Turns out the light came back on about 6 months later (for a service that should be annual). This time, we called VentSmart. Dryer vents are ALL they do. One price for a vent on the side of the house, another if the dryer vents to the roof. Wayne was super friendly and pleasant. He dispatched Chris in short order. Chris was even friendlier and worked hard to get the job done right. That first "Vent Cleaning" service never checked the roof, just "cleaned" from our air-conditioned laundry room. Chris got up there and removed a HUGE chunk of lint (attached pic), then high-speed brushed from top AND bottom. There was no BS, no trying to sell other services, no surprises with the cost. Just thoroughly cleaned the house vent, the vent in the dryer, and all around the dryer seals. Then cleaned up everything behind him. Professional, super nice, and a very reasonable price. Why try it yourself or bring in a company that will try to sell you on their other services when VentSmart can get it done right the first time. THANK YOU CHRIS! We'll see you next year!
