We were visiting from USA and staying at our son's in Barton. We booked online for the Hessle…read morebranch. Enterprise advertises pick up within 10 miles. We were within 10 miles but to our surprise the Hessle branch would not pick us up. We called the Scunthorpe branch and we were told, they did not have any drivers until after 3pm, which I found hard to believe since I was calling at 8am. Scunthorpe would also not pick up in Barton (something about crossing the bridge and that only pick up locally). None of this made sense. We went into a bit of a panic because all our holiday plans were dependent on getting to our next destination and subsequent destinations. After ringing a few places, we reached Aaron at the Hull branch. I explained the situation, after a brief hold, Aaron came back on the line and advised that one of his colleagues would be on his way. Within the hour, Ricky Heatley (Manager Trainee) appeared! Ricky was professional, pleasant and well dressed. Upon arrival, Ricky went into action to get us on our way. It was a busy morning! While we waited, we observed the entire Hull team members in action. All were very customer centric and did what they needed to do, to get the customers on their way, even assisting with washing cars in suits. Hull Enterprise really took charge and provided superior customer service. Thank you Ricky Heatley for making our holiday a memorable one.

Upon arrival I was helped by a woman called "Lisa" she must have been the friendliest and most helpfull desk agent I ever met. Thank you !! Advice to Avis; keep her, she should be employee of the month 8-)) On top she was very effiecient and I was out of the airport in no time. Also bringing the car back was no hassle at all. The guy inspecting the car, again, was very nice and very effecient, 5 min tops and I was on my way with all the information I needed. Thank you Avis Birmingham for your brilliant customer service, if only we would ahve the same kind of customer service here in Belgium.

They mainly deal with Vauxhall cars but can occasionally be seen with a few Audis etc in their car park. The forecourt is full of cars and there is a pressure washing unit in one corner to clean everything that goes in and out. To the right is their reception. This is where you book a car. The staff are helpful as they take a few details from you and add it to their pc's. After this has been done you can almost choose what vehicle you drive away with. Cars are always in great condition and drive really well. Definetaly worth goin to to rent a car.
