Throughout this time my experience has been positive and I have nothing but praise for the school. The teachers are genuinely concerned for the learning potential and welfare of the children and seem able to stretch the more able children while helping those who might fall behind. The amount of extra curricular activities and diverse school trips is amazing and really expands the children's horizons. Discipline seems to be taken very seriously and there have never seemed to be any issues about behaviour. The school is a real community school that has an incredibly welcoming atmosphere, to children and parents alike. My youngest child is still in the Nursery and I'm waiting to hear if she has a place in Reception, if she hasn't I will be devastated as I can't imagine a better school, and it has become part of our lives over the last 8 years!

My child attended the nursery at this school in 2019 and I also had an older child in PP2. I have now taken them both out of this school and have sent them to Alpha prep (where I couldn't be happier with). My child was in nappies when she first started attending the nursery, which they were not happy with. I was in the process of potty training her but she was finding this difficult to get the hang of. I was then shocked to find changes of clothes in her bag when she was coming home from nursery. The staff would remove her nappy when entering the nursery and expect her to know how to use the toilet. Absolutely shocking way to treat my child. I would never recommend any child to be sent here, especially not for a private school fee.

Before this I was at a state school in Chipstead, then I moved here. I then understood how brilliant Cumnor was, in terms of its education, teacher support, activities, facilities and possibilities. It really set me on the straight and narrow towards getting into my chosen secondary school. I found that Cumnor perfectly sets you up for later life and has a really wonderful vibe about it. It has been several years since I was last there, but I worked first hand at the renovation of the school to make it more suitable for kids. Everything at the school was renovated in order for it to be suitable for kids, from toilets, to stairs, chairs, and table. When I was helping with the renovation of the school, I met many of the teachers that were going to work there, and those who I met seemed to be well educated teachers, that would take good care of any students going to the school.
