I was extremely pleased with their service, they fold and hang my laundry, I have a next day turn around. They are also open year round and the girls are awesome. I have been using strebel's for 4 months now and have no complaints. One tip if you want to use their laundry service: they work by weight, so the more laundry you have the cheaper it gets.

I have never been compelled to write a negative review before today-- but it was THAT bad. They charged me $190 to dry clean 4 dresses and a light coat. 3/4 of the dresses were returned with the existing stains still visible, and one dress was MISSING entirely! I was told they send dry cleaning out to a third party, and that they would call me when they located my dress. After over a week of unreturned phone calls, I went there in person to retrieve the items they were "doing over" and see if they had found my lost dress. All of the dresses that were "redone" were still stained, and it turns out that they had found the missing dress, just didn't bother to call me, and when they brought it out to me it was covered on the front and back in what looks to be coffee -- these are brand new stains that happened while the dress was in their possession. This dress cost me $175 and is now ruined, and they refused to credit me back the $190 I paid for their cleaning services, which they did NOT complete since my clothing is currently in worse shape than it was when I left it in their care-- I would have been better off setting $190 on fire, and then dumping a pot of coffee on my dress for good measure. To add insult to injury, when I told the employee working how upset I was at how this was all handled and that they would be losing my business, she told me "that's fine, I don't care", and actually gave me an attitude. I've never felt so disrespected, and cannot believe a place like this is operational. Save yourself the trouble and go anywhere else!!!

I bought it at a sample sale and it was several sizes too large for me. George is a complete miracle worker and was patient with the 9 fittings that were need to make sure it was taken in correctly. The staff was even accommodating having it delivered to my apartment several days before my wedding to ensure that if anything last minute was needed there would be time before I left.

DAMAGED VINTAGE PUCCI DRESS, UNAUTHORIZED TAILORING OF THE HEM…read more Dropped a dress off for a spot treatment for a stain on the top of the dress. As shown on my receipt asked for spot treatment only, hand wash only, and delicate care of vintage item. Upon pick up was charged $400 and when asked about the price difference they told me that was for the tailoring. They tailored my vintage dress without my permission, likely due to damage to the dress while in their care. Upon inspection, they hemmed the bottom of the dress without ever having me try it on. Then tried on the dress and it was nearly 6 inches shorter than the dress I dropped off. I asked them to restore the dress to original condition. The issue was then escalated to Leah (manager) and Mr. Hallak. What they returned was appalling. Not only did it somehow look worse with weird mismatching fabric that I am not sure where they got it from it had new damage, stains, and looked absolutely horrible. They single handed ruined an irreplaceable, special vintage Pucci piece. No effort was made to actually remedy the HUGE mistake of their end or explanation of why the dress was even altered in the first place. They only agreed to refund $400 dry cleaning amount, nothing for damaging my dress. IF YOU CARE ABOUT SOMETHING DO NOT BRING IT HERE THEY WILL DAMAGE IT. THEN PROCEED TO TELL YOU IT LOOKS THE SAME. I specifically told them not to use bleach on colored clothes because the first time they did, my colored clothes came back with bleach stains. It happened again, even after I told them not to use it. I brought the damaged shirt in to show them, and when I returned with the same shirt later, they accused me of bringing in a different one. I asked to speak with the boss, and was told twice that he would review the video and get back to me. He never called, never followed up, and never looked into it. This was a brand‑new $25 shirt, completely ruined. If you plan on having your clothes cleaned at Tony Tubs, do NOT ask for bleach -- and don't expect management to take responsibility when something goes wrong.
