What a great venue! My now husband and I picked the venue because it reminded him of his family farm in Pittsburgh and we fell in love with HCWP and the wonderful owners immediately. Throughout the whole planning process they were above and beyond helpful. Heather and Carla would send me e-mails just checking in and asking how the planning was going and if there was anything they could do to help me, that was was not necessary at all but they really care about their brides. My wedding party and guests have had mentioned to me how much they loved the venue and couldn't believe that it was the venue owners who were the ones helping so much throughout the rehearsal and wedding day. HCWP really knows how to make each bride and groom feel special and try to care for them. Not only do I love this venue, but my amazing vendors also love them which kept reassuring me that I made the right choice. My florist, caterer, and DJ all said they love working with Carla and Heather and enjoy doing weddings with them. They are constantly working on the venue to keep it looking beautiful to a point that I went out there one day to show my friend the venue and Carla was on her hands and knees in the kitchen scrubbing the floor. I was impressed, they clearly are passionate about making a dream come true for each bride that chooses them no matter what. I don't think they know what a "free" Saturday is out there because to them it's an opportunity to work on the venue! We loved that going out there, you pass so much beautiful Alabama scenery and our guests loved that it was just us out there, away from all the noise. We had the great opportunity to work with Hampton Cove Wedding Plantation recently on Aug 6, 2016 for our wedding. This is the BEST venue and I am so glad we chose them. Trust me, we looked around. Then my wife found them online, so we set up a visit. After touring the plantation and meeting with Carla and Heather, we stopped looking. We knew we had found the spot to create our most important memory. We were not disappointed either! Everyone told me in advance that my wedding day would be a blur and just a crazy day. Thank you Carla and Heather! They were fantastic from the start. They handled everything to make our wedding day a piece of cake, no pun intended. They were very professional from the start and treated us like we were the only wedding of importance, which we appreciate. We were able to communicate everything we wanted involved and they had answers for any question, and we had a lot, that we had. The good thing for us too is the venue holds a lot of people because we have big families. The whole venue is a beautiful place to take pictures before and after the wedding. We took a lot of pictures. Just when we thought we were not going to get to eat (I have heard a lot of horror stories of weddings), Carla and Heather whisked us away to the bridal suite to enjoy a meal. Let me tell you, they kept EVERYONE out, lol. I felt during the whole experience that Carla and Heather were more than just the wedding planners, they were our friends......and now a part of our family!! From the first moment we walked in the door to meet Heather and Carla we knew this was the place for us and signed the contract before we left. When we fist started looking at venues we were burned by another place in Huntsville and then we found Hampton cove wedding plantation. They have this whole process down to a science from the very beginning they were so helpful and very quick with responses to text and email. We actually looked forward to our wedding meetings to we could see them..we definitely have new friends for life. So the wedding day came and there was a threat of rain and Carla and Heather kicked in the rain plan fortunately the rain went away and we had the ceremony outside by the beautiful pond. I don't know how they do what they do but they get it done and the wedding day was stress-free and we got to soak up every minute and didn't have to do anything but enjoy the day. While we were enjoying the reception they are making sure everyone has everything thing they need and Greg is down at the pond taking down decorations before dark so we don't have to and the clean up process was awesome they don't stand around and just watch they are hands on working til the last person leaves. I cant say enough about how much we loved being there and how stress-free they make it for you. If your looking for a place to get married look no further this is the place! Holy cow! This place is gorgeous! We chose this spot for our wedding because they have indoor or covered and outdoor spots for beautiful weddings. Our wedding started off on a beautiful very hot day! We are so glad we picked this place because after the service started and we all got in place the weather decided to shift and thunder and rain moved in. They were on top of it and gave us the word that we had about five minutes to move. We switched out to the covered indoor location that is just a short walk away. Just as soon as the last person made it into the venue the bottom fell out and it rained for about five minutes really hard, then it started to clear up. The whole thing made our day so unique and special that we will never forget it and we got pictures at both places! Who else could offer you the simplicity of multiple views all in one place. This is a country feel that is still very elegant and quite sophisticated all while maintaining a manly enough feel that will keep the groom happy too. Heather and her mom are more than willing to step out of their comfort zones to help you with anything you need. All the staff will be sure to please. I am greatful for all their help and Thank them for everything. This is a place I'd like to say I'd do it again but I would prefer only to get married this once. My sister had her wedding here and it was an absolute dream! The ceremony spot next to the pond was beautiful and made for some fantastic photos. The reception area was beautifully decorated with chandeliers and white linen draped from the ceiling. There was plenty of outdoor area for cornhole and the dance floor was perfectly situated in the front of the venue! The bar was in an old horse stall, very cool and plenty of room for multiple kegs! We had 1 bartender for 170 guests and it was perfect. The bridal suite was an amazing feature to have as well! plenty of space for 8 bridesmaids, moms, grandmas, and flower girls. The owners were absolutely amazing! Running around all day organizing the arrival of caterers, cakes, bar tenders, band, photographers etc! They were very coordinated and used walkie talkies throughout the night. I was so impressed how they were able to rally a crowd of 170 to get their attention! Overall what an incredible experience. We got married at Hampton Cove Wedding Plantation on September 7, 2013. The venue is GORGEOUS! When I first went to visit I was in awe of how beautiful it was! I knew as soon as I saw it, it was the venue for me. I held my ceremony in Shady Grove. It was breathtaking! I held the reception in the barn and I also had tables and chairs in the hay barn for extra outside seating. It is hard to put into words how beautiful this venue is... It was our dreams come true! My son and now daughter-in-law were married here last month (June 2015). I can't say enough wonderful things about Hampton Cove Wedding Plantation. Heather and Carla are some of the best people in the industry to work with. You walk in and instantly feel like family! The Shady Grove wedding site is so beautiful with the fountain in the background and the reception hall easily held 200 people. Didn't feel crowded at all!! Throughout the evening, we were checked on frequently to see if we needed anything at all. They truly took care of us and thought about the little details that we didn't think of during planning. Absolutely loved working with these awesome ladies ! On my wedding day they made sure everything was perfect for me. From helping with my dress in pictures to helping set up food and flowers, they were awesome! We had a little incident with the food and they were so great to help my wedding decorator put everything up anything we needed they did their best to help. There are a lot of challenges planning a wedding in a pandemic and Heather and Carla made my life so much easier. We had booked the venue a month before the pandemic hit and I was also trying to plan it from across the country in California.
