    Beautiful place to enjoy breakfast
    April C.

The front desk was abandoned when I arrived. After ringing the bell a few times, a man arrived. My room was prepaid but he said he could not accept my credit card because, although the last name was the same, the 1st name was different. It was a card I had made for my son that i have been using all week with no problem. Well, while I was digging out a card with my name on it, he moved on to the next person in line, and I got the joy of listening to him argue with her about her AAA discount while I waited for it to be my turn again. The bed was comfy but the satellite TV was a nightmare. It kept flickering. It was also set to hdmi2 so I had to figure out how to work the remote and change it. Breakfast was included and the eggs were good. Since we were not allowed to serve ourselves, there was a wait to be served. They had one old woman doing everything on her own. The bacon wasn't real bacon, and I didn't care for it. No juice. The coffee was really horrible. I thought about going back for a yogurt but didn't want to wait in line. I suppose this is a covid precaution but the other 2 hotels I stayed in this week allowed us to serve ourselves, which was nice because I'm not a fan of waiting, and that's all I've been doing since I got here.

I honestly wish I could put down negative stars for this motel. We drove 10 hours and were just ready to unwind a bit but unfortunately we were unable to. We checked in and the first thing that happened was being charged extra for a reason that no one could explain since our reservation total included everything. My wife got our card and went to the room which was strange because it was supposed to be a handicap accessible studio and this was on the top floor. Well the reason it was strange is because it wasn't the room that we reserved. It had two queen beds and no fold out couch like the room we had reserved. So we went back down to ask why we weren't given a room that we had reserved. The manager or whomever the rude people were behind the desk said that there were no such rooms at their motel, even though their site advertised the room. Maybe they don't understand false advertising or bait and switch which is exactly what they did. So as I fought with them my wife was in the room contacting hotel.com to get this sorted out but then we were told that we could leave but be charged one night because we were in the room for 30 minutes and it would take 3-5 business days to refund us the other nights because of course they took full payment at time of check in. So that screwed us right there. So now we have 4 adults, 3 being male and 1 female to figure out how to sleep because we were supposed to get a cot and then were told that the rooms with two queens can't have a cot in it. So another run around. Needless to say one person slept on the floor the whole weekend. Also there was a shower door used as a closet door and the one elevator handle kept falling off everytime you held it or even bumped up against it. If you want to be dissatisfied with motels, this is the place you want to be. The worst experience we have had at any motel and wouldn't suggest this place to my worst enemy. This is why we are fighting for a full refund. False advertising is a crime and so is bait and switch. Your motel will figure that out soon

Staying in a king suite for a week on business. I have stayed in a lot of hamptons and this is a good one. They had very good customer service at the front desk and my room was very clean and comfortable. I didnt have the hot breakfast, only the breakfast to go due to scheduling but my food was fresh and I was very thankful for the grab and go option. The gym was ok, had what I needed and is well stocked with towels and cleaning wipes. I didnt use the pool. My WiFi was fine and I didnt have any connection issues. I do get a code for free premium with Diamond status. My only complaints are very small. There is not a privacy curtain between the drapes and window. So your curtains are either wide open or blacked out. The other thing that could jave been better is the toiletry area in the shop. I was hoping to grab a small bottle of hairspray and some Q-tips but all they had were super huge bottles of mousse and toenail clippers. They could definatly update the selection.

Convenient location for work. However, the lamps by the bed did not work. Many other chain hotels nearby to choose from.

Only drawback we encountered was guests who called to book a room instead of on our link, had a more difficult time working with staff.

This location was less convenient for us than another hotel we stayed in during the moving process, though there are various stores and restaurants nearby. We had a disabled accessible room so it was one large space with a king bed, and this was actually more functional than the suite rooms we stayed in (also ADA accessible) elsewhere. The room "divider" was a hospital-room-style curtain that pulled out next to the bed. Elevators were the least sensory friendly I have ever encountered, with loud, high pitched dings (not fun for the cats). We utilized the pool while visiting, but parents should need the rule that unattended children cannot be there by themselves -- some kids came racing to the door (needs to be opened with key card) and banging on it so we would let them in (hell no! We are not going to be responsible for someone else's children. Finally as we were leaving they returned with their parents). Janitor also needed to clean in here as there was blood on the edge of the pool -- not sanitary. Breakfast was ok, nothing to write home about. I will say that despite signage in the elevator talking about "crafting your ultimate breakfast sandwich," the offering was premade Jimmy Dean type stuff. A lot of noise in the halls and lobby at this hotel. Ultimately, we did opt to stay elsewhere the next time.

All the runs are set to 75° which in the warm weather would be just fine but it's winter and I am an older person with her blood circulation is quite uncomfortable after a couple of some like adjusted it so that I could move the temperature. But the main reason we came to this location was for the indoor pool. Which every customer found two to enjoy. Most people came in and the temperature in the room and their foot or hand in the water and left. Should try to brave chill room and chill pool had to bum up any towels and wear coats while they children in the pool. My granddaughter is in Barrett and I decided to go to the room and get her. Beach family on this short time in the pool. My grandson is autistic will brave the temperature just so he could be under the water because he loves water. I tried several times the temperature, to avail. Manager simply was not interested in our comfort. He says that in our room to communicate with the front desk, not functioning properly the entire thing. And most importantly, the blackout blinds and bedroom, I initially operated, but when I try to let them down to go to bed and get a good night sleep that was not happening. I had to call the front desk for my cell phone. Ask someone tell me how to get them down, but there was no maintenance on site and did not know how to accomplish this so I did not hardly any sleep at all. And I'm not even going to go and see the drama that I went through when I initially check in and found room not handicap accessible and there were no handicap accessible available even though that is supposedly booked online. Suffice to say my reservation was not one that could be altered or adjusted north of council. So my only choice was to pay additional charges for a larger road they suffer. I can't wait to get out of here and go home with a voice of money and a crappy way to spend Thanksgiving.

December 25, I started receiving notifications from my bank that the hotel was trying to process various amounts, and they were being declined. My initial thought that it a fraud attempt. Seeing that the $1420 was no longer in my account. Upon returning to the hotel, I stopped and asked what the issue was when I'd already paid. I was told that the system had charged by card $741 and was now attempting to charge the remaining balance of $540. Why? That's not the process. I'm well-traveled. Don't let the look fool you as I'm currently at another Marriot property as we speak. In addition, I do not have a charge on my card for $741; only the hold for $1420 which to this day (3rd) remains. Check out day comes and a forced charge of $540 was put through on my card leaving me with a negative balance of $540. The $1420 transaction is still pending, and my card is f'd up! There is no charge of $741 anywhere! To add salt to the wound, no apology has been given, no compensation, nothing. Unfortunately, as I was leaving one afternoon, the manager was apologizing to a customer that did not look like me for something that had taken place and was offering rewards points for their inconvenience. Our ballroom is so beautiful, and everything looked absolutely stunning on our special day. Here I wanted to THANK YOU Katie Jones, the hotel manager, for being so professional, accommodating, and supportive throughout the entire planning process, especially when we decided to switch from the Cyprus Room to Ballroom B, just three weeks before the wedding. She made the change stress and handling everything with her good care. We're so grateful for her patience, attention to detail, and for making the entire process so smooth. Our guests were so impressed with the venue and the level of service. This is one of the best venues to celebrate weddings. We highly recommend Hotel Arista to any couple looking for a classy, beautiful, and memorable wedding venue. Also, the parking is very convenient for everybody. However, there are two areas where we think this hotel SHOULD improve: 1. Food Quality - We chose lamb and duck for our main entrées. While the lamb was excellent, the duck unfortunately, turned out VERY salty and quite different from the delicious version we had during the tasting. It was a bit disappointing since food is such an important part of the wedding experience. 2. Reservation - One of our special guests faced a BIG inconvenience due to a reservation miscommunication. We had confirmed a few times with the front desk that charges would go to the card on file and not the guest directly. Unfortunately, the guest was charged anyway, which caused him to miss his flight and pay double fees to rebook. The solution is, we called the reservation front desk, and they apologized and offered us two free nights as compensation. In conclusion, aside from these two issues, everything else about our wedding day was truly memorable. The staff was attentive, the ballroom looked stunning, and the overall service was excellent. We're still very happy we chose Hotel Arista as our wedding venue, but we hope the hotel can make improvements in those areas for future couples and guests.
