First time staying at this Hampton Inn. We were in town for just one night and made a reservation earlier that day. It's a typical looking Hampton. Nice lobby, with open areas for sitting, and a dining area for the free breakfast. The check-in was super easy, and the staff were pleasant. Our room was spacious, well appointed and clean (turns out we had a handicapped room which accounted for some of the extra space). We had queen beds, and they were nice and firm. There were several pillows on each bed, and they were also firm. The bathroom was large, and clean. Plumbing worked well and the water pressure was very good. In the morning we when down for the breakfast. Very impressive for a free meal. The standard stuff including yogurt, fruit, cereal and muffins. But they also had warmers filled with pieces of hot sausage, potatoes, and omelettes. Very nice. Would definitely book a room next time we are in town. read more

It's clean, classy, and conveniently located near a lot of fun places to visit in Chippewa falls. The guy at the front desk was really helpful. I often complain about hotel beds being too soft, but the beds here were firm and comfortable. read more

Was so pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of this hotel. Everything is new, tidy and well kept. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were as soft as can be. They are doing a great job keeping things safe and clean. Staff was very friendly as well. read more

This hotel is pretty ok, but not stellar. We were in town for a wedding and stayed overnight. Positives: Room was clean and well stocked. All the usual mini shampoos, conditioners, etc. There were plenty of towels and the staff happily provided more after we used ours at the pool. (There are towels at the pool, but they are teeny tiny. We were laughing at my husband because the pool towel stretched about halfway around his waist.) Our room had plenty of storage in the form of pull out drawers, as well as a microwave and decent size mini fridge. I agree with another review that the barn door for the bathroom is weird and was a bit frustrating. The pillows and beds were comfortable. The AC kept the room cool and not too icy. Price was not too bad: $135, although I suspect this may be 'higher end' in terms of price for Chippewa Falls. Not so positives: The hotel is a stone's throw from US 53 so it is loud. The noise is not bothersome inside, but open a door or window and the loud zoom of cars immediately hits you. The pool is wimpy and FREEZING! We did not last more than 20 minutes. My biggest complaint is that, if you want to do anything other than check your email, you have to pay to use the Internet. It is only $4.95 a day, but when I have already paid $135 for a room, you could throw in free Internet. And, seriously, pretty much every business has free internet so making guests pay for it is totally chintzy. I have a young child who wanted to watch something other than the NFL game that his Dad was watching on the hotel TV, so I paid the $4.95...and I'm still mad about it. Frankly, I would give up the standard, complimentary hotel breakfast for free Internet any day. read more

Not bad but my room was not clean when I got there. They missed a whole can full of trash in the bathroom. Also rotting food in the mini fridge. It must have been unplugged or something because the inside of the fridge was warm and it smelled really bad. Also as a general rule Hampton breakfast is really crummy. Not the hotels fault I guess but I stay at a lot of Hamptons and it's all the same junk. Some of Hiltons other hotels have much better food! But not a lot of hotels to choose from in Chip Falls so this is where I had to stay. read more

We had the best stay last night at this hotel. The cleanliness and spaciousness of the rooms alone were outstanding. Our breakfast was nutritious and fresh and even had smoothies! The gym was probably our highlight because we are a touring band and like to stay in shape on the road. Thanks guys for a great rest! read more

Amazing! My favorite Hampton Inn & Suites experience has been here in the middle of nowhere so I was very surprised at how good they would've been as far as they're "Hilton Honoring" for those that stay at only Hilton's & are very acquainted with Hilton due to being a cardholder, the vacation club & all the perks of being a part of Hilton Honors - I was mind-blown by what this location has to offer as far as everything and then some when it comes to giving you a true Hilton experience; research no further this here at this location is something you won't regret. They're true to what Hilton stands behind & all employees and staff are beyond warm and welcoming! You will truly have absolutely no complaints here at all! There's an actual "Hilton" not to far from here no more than 20 minutes. That said, if I wasn't in love with this location and so overly enthusiastic about this location as well as the amazing, accommodating, friendly & welcoming staff! Reliability and out of the world customer service; I would have tried there next THANKFULLY I will never NOT stay here when in the area - what a little gem I had found out of the many different hotels to go & choose from; I'd pick/prefer to stay here EVEN over the Hilton (nearby as well Any hotel that is cheaper than this). 10/10 experience! I promise you that even with a better deal and price, whether it's cheaper - any day I'd take this experience with out a question. Gavin & Courtney are beyond expectations as far as staff and they've truly perfected how to make hotel occupants 110% satisfied without a question & truly make you feel at home here even if it's your first stay! read more

We arrived one evening placed our personals in our room and went to dinner. Room was ready and very clean. When we arrived back that evening tired and ready to shower and relax our key would not open our room. We went to lobby and received new keys which still would not unlock room. Returning again the front desk person brought up the master key which did not open the door either. The motel manager came down from home and was unable to open door herself. We were given another room to rest until a lock company could come down and let us in. We are seniors who did not get their rest and I was not able to be on my CPAP machine this night. We were very exhausted to enjoy our first day of vacation the next day. Meeting with the motel manager that evening we were told we would not be charged for the room that evening which we thought was very fair. No one could of dreamed of a malfunction in the door. I feel this was good customer service. read more

Great check in. Very nice modern and clean lobby and breakfast area. Love the fact the room night stand lights have easy to find switches and charges built into them. Bathroom- awesome. Love full showers and not a tub shower. Has a shelve for your shampoo and soaps- a lot of hotels don't and silly to set these items on the floor. I travel a lot for work and one of the nice Hilton's I have stayed at. read more

The Hampton Inn and Suites Chippewa Falls, WI was comfortable, clean, and perfectly located! Check in was easy, and the gentleman at the desk was helpful enough that it took all of 5 minutes to complete the process for the two rooms I had reserved. (There were cookies, also!) The rooms were modern with plenty of space, plenty of outlets (very underrated amenity), and decorated in a very simple, but clean way. The bathrooms were on point! Lots of towels, clean counters/shower area, and great water pressure. I especially liked the breakfast. The day I was there they had mini omelettes, and breakfast potatoes on a buffet, as well as all the normal staples of a continental breakfast (cereals, breads, muffins, oatmeal, waffle station, fruit, etc.) I got a chance to get a morning workout done in the fitness center as well. Two stationary bikes (one recumbent) as well as 4 treadmills, and a weight machine. All in all, I don't know that I could be more thrilled with my stay! This hotel does it all, and I hope to make it back soon! read more

I admit I'm usually a Marriott Guy but I stayed here a few days after they opened and I was fairly impressed. The rooms are modern and USB charging plugs for your gadgets. The small bar downstairs was swell stocked. If I need a place this end of Eau Claire Ill be sure to stay here again. read more

Great facility. Brand new as of 4/2015, and a new design for Hampton Inns. Right on the highway, but the rooms are well insulated and we heard nothing. Breakfast was as expected in a well designed lobby. The rooms are very modern and attractively decorated. The bedding was great, the furniture and the flooring very attractive. The pool was small but good enough. Service was pleasant and attentive. The only small downside is a very loud HVAC system. Would definitely return if in the area. read more

Wow. I'm a Marriott person usually but got put up here for work. I was really happy about how clean, bright, and modern the rooms were. The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and they had a fridge stocked with great local beers for purchase. I had no problem accessing wifi, and there was a great big desk in the room for me to work from. Bed was comfortable, sheets crisp, nice walk-in shower. The only critique I have is that whatever they use to mop the floors leaves a kind of film that you notice if you are walking on it in bare feet. The internet does not work and the person at the front desk said they do not know what to do. They said there was a sign here telling me what to do but it's gone! That is such a terrible excuse, I almost laughed. Then I remembered how late I got in and how many emails I need to catch up on. Unfortunately I will be leaving this hotel an hour early in search of a Starbucks so I can catch up on emails! I will never stay at this poorly run hotel! read more

For a hotel in Chippewa Falls this is perfect. They just opened in March and Lori at the front desk was happy and helped upgrade us to a bigger room. We were acknowledged immediately as Diamond members and given some tasty treats and a couple waters. The gym is nice; the pool is solid without any hot tub though. The hotel was clean and quiet. It's tough to give a Hampton a 5 star but it's the best one I've ever stayed at. Well done. read more

The staff here was amazing. We were in town for a hockey tournament and had a very large group. Gavin at the front desk always greeted us with a smile. The staff alone is reason to stay here. We had a hockey team here last weekend and it was refreshing to be treated like guests instead of just another hockey team. I understand hotels have had issues in the past with unruly teams but we weren't treated like that from the start as usual. The hotel was clean and welcoming. Stayed here several times. I'm a fan. I travel a lot and I like to travel in style, but if I'm not staying in a luxury hotel somewhere (which there aren't any in Chippewa Falls, Wi), then my fall back is typically Hampton Inn & Suites. I think they are all pretty uniform in their set up and consistency. I like their room layout - it is comfortable and functional. The hot breakfast bar is ok and generally hit or miss, but I can always find things to fill up on. Even if the processed precooked "omelets" are gross, you can always make a fresh waffle or have some fruit, yougurt and toast. My wife likes the all day coffee/hot water service. My biggest complaint is that their rooms aren't very noise proof from the upper floors. Either I stay below someone that is constantly jumping over my head, or the smallest of children sounds like the giant in Jack and the Beanstalk. I'm expecting to hear Fe-Fi-Fo-Fum at any minute. So, if you get to pick your room, ask for the top floor. read more
